El-Mahdi Holly’s views on journalism.

It’s bad when I do it.
But it’s fine for Game Changers Media Network, 1010 Computers and Rep. Holly.

On Nextdoor, before I exited so gracefully. El-Mahdi Holly bragged that his co-sponsorship for the redevelopment powers bill referendum for Henry County thus enabled building of the VyStar at the Bridge Amphitheater here in Stockbridge, GA.

No one had to pass a bill to build the amphitheater. The bill he co-sponsored, enabling the redevelopment powers act by referendum HB1249, takes my home away. I won’t go long on the redev powers law except to say that by comparison to the amphitheater improvements, my house can be considered “dangerous blight.”

Why? Like everyone, the amphitheater is an electioneering machine for Holly and the Henry Prog. Dems. They stump on your tax dollars. During job fairs you’re paying for, they put up a sign and give some stupid speech. They ain’t at the job fair hiring lawyers, clerks or pages. He loves the amphitheater so much for this simple reason. I just heard LaKeisha Gantt giving a speech in my backyard this morning at the book bag giveaway.

When you understand your tax dollars do all the heavy lifting for their elections. You’ll understand why it’s a no-brainer for them, that my house, and moreover my livelihood are worthless to Atlanta space invaders.

Imagine bragging about co-sponsoring a local bill. Let alone braggadocio over taking people’s homes.
