[0:01:51, 0:01:54]: of of vacancy, or that individual to fill that vacancy. [0:01:57, 0:01:58]: Uh [0:02:05, 0:02:09]: This is for the development authority. C city wide development authority, right. [0:02:11, 0:02:12]: Uh old business. [0:02:13, 0:02:33]: Council consideration approved the contract amendment RFP request for proposal two zero one five zero eight dash zero two sanitation collection service contract with Ragnar Holdings Corporation slash GFL environmental formerly waste industries an amount of a million dollars uh which is also which is no additional cost. [0:02:33, 0:02:53]: The funding sources from Sanitation Department budget. Ms. Aaron, please. Yes, Mr. Mayor. Previously, Mayor and Council had voted to close the transfer station as part of the park's master plan. And currently the city's waste is disposed at the transfer station. So this contract amendment allows GFL to take the waste. [0:02:53, 0:02:58]: ways directly to the landfill since the transfer station will no longer be in service. [0:02:58, 0:03:01]: And this contract amends it to reflect that. [0:03:03, 0:03:04]: Council, any questions for Mr. Aaron? [0:03:06, 0:03:09]: If not, I need a motion to accept this uh proposal. [0:03:19, 0:03:21]: Okay, so um [0:03:21, 0:03:33]: The city of Stockbridge Procurement Department solicited the procurement put out a bid for this and we received two bids. They opened on yesterday. One was from Limitless Concrete and Works Inc. [0:03:34, 0:03:40]: For two hundred and twelve thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars. The other was for Beto Group. [0:03:40, 0:03:47]: in the amount of three hundred and seventy one thousand eighteen dollars and seventy one cents. Uh procurement is [0:03:48, 0:03:56]: Uh approving for us to go with the lowest responsive bidder, which is Limitless Concrete and Works Inc, out of Noonan, Georgia. [0:03:56, 0:04:00]: in the amount of two hundred and twelve thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars. [0:04:01, 0:04:02]: Okay. [0:04:03, 0:04:18]: Uh how soon it once uh once approved, that's the case, how soon did would it get started? Well, I will call them tomorrow. I didn't want to touch bases with them until we knew that council was whether you were gonna approve it or not. I'll reach out to them tomorrow. Okay. Uh questions, council. [0:04:19, 0:04:23]: Uh Mayor, where is the funding coming from? Funding source? What's the funding source? [0:04:25, 0:04:26]: Mr. Frank. [0:04:27, 0:04:29]: Malazi. Malani. [0:04:33, 0:04:53]: The funding is coming from SP, but it's yet to come in October, uh in April. So we found money from general fund to for just this period of time. As soon as we start receiving next week, actually we see money from next week. I have an appointment with the uh the director of [0:04:53, 0:05:00]: of plus uh Henry County to see but you will start receiving next week from first of uh April. [0:05:01, 0:05:07]: Okay. Okay. Thank you. Do we have any sposphones left for parks in general?'Cause the amphitheaters are parked, correct? [0:05:11, 0:05:15]: I I wasn't aware that Amphitheater was part of the parks, but [0:05:16, 0:05:23]: Maybe I'll be m making up stuff I thought it was. I thought it was like a part to me, but maybe it's maybe it's meant to be that's for sure. [0:05:26, 0:05:35]: Uh yeah facility city facility I would imagine. City facilities, okay. All right. And just on maintenance. Maintenance. On the maintenance side of it. [0:05:36, 0:05:46]: Okay. All right. All right. And question this this was for the the materials that we the porous flexible surface that we discussed previously. Yes, sir. [0:05:48, 0:05:48]: Okay. [0:05:49, 0:05:59]: Ms. Barber, you have a question? Go ahead, please. So the um agenda item form, I don't see that as a part of this. I was looking for it only because [0:05:59, 0:06:01]: I just wanted to see the background. [0:06:01, 0:06:21]: Well, remember when we was at the retreat, I I informed you that we were placing this on the agenda that the bid would open on yesterday. So we had a spot just holding this so that we can uh present it today. So there was no agenda form. Gotcha. So is this the vendor that [0:06:21, 0:06:23]: Procurement is recommending. [0:06:23, 0:06:26]: Yes, ma'am, they're the lowest responsive pitter. [0:06:26, 0:06:27]: Okay. [0:06:28, 0:06:32]: Is there a motion? Um mayor, I move that we approve the [0:06:32, 0:06:34]: contract and the bid award. [0:06:34, 0:06:36]: The contract and the bill [0:06:36, 0:06:44]: Bid award. Bid award for the um s subject matter of the twenty five dash zero zero three amphitheater flexi pave project. [0:06:46, 0:06:47]: Is there a second to the motion? [0:06:47, 0:06:53]: Uh in the amount of two hundred and twelve thousand eight hundred and fifty dollars to the uh yeah. [0:06:53, 0:06:59]: To limitless concrete and works. Okay, you make a motion, Miss Barber, you second the motion. All favor, please indicate. [0:07:00, 0:07:18]: Okay, thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. Thank you, sir. Thank you. And then what we have next we attitude agenda deals an enterprise fleet uh uh program and uh and we wanted to amend that resolute we did a resolution on that. So through conversation we want to I was have to um um Mr Washington [0:07:21, 0:07:25]: Yeah, yeah. I would imagine w we could come to the podium, please, sir. Okay. [0:07:31, 0:07:51]: Since you draft our resolutions, my my assumptions through the conversations that we we've had that uh this is not the it's considered the best program for us. We want to scrap this particular uh program since we've not officially signed any contract that I'm aware of on this aspect. And I don't know if Frank Fulam Malazi needs to be part of this conversation or not. Wanna come up, sir? Come on. [0:07:51, 0:07:58]: Just going to, if you all are going to just prescind the vote, somebody that's on the prevailing side just needs to make the motion, you can just prescind the vote. [0:07:58, 0:07:59]: All right. [0:08:00, 0:08:18]: I think it was I think it was a announcement season at the time. Right. So it can be anyone. Yeah. All right, fine. I need a motion to rescind this uh Mayor. Yes, sir. I make the motion that we rescind the previous vote for the uh enterprise um process project. Project with the enterprise. Okay. Is there a second to that? Second. Ms. McGarth. [0:08:19, 0:08:30]: Ms. Cass, second that you want a question? All in favor? Okay, thank you very much. So otherwise there's got to be some type of document that you would do, sir, that right to you, so we we rescinded the vote. [0:08:31, 0:08:51]: And so there's not been there's still there's not been a vote to approve, so it's it's done now. Okay. Thank you, sir. Correct. Appreciate it, gentlemen. All right, new business. Council consideration approved, Fetch Road Abandonment, Marketplace Storefronts, LLC. Located on the property of two two five zero Jolico Road to make uh their [0:08:51, 0:08:56]: property contiguous. Uh Mr. Yes, Mr Mayor. [0:08:56, 0:09:09]: Uh the Western Parallel connector is being constructed right now and once it's finished this portion of road will be obsolete. It will go nowhere, it will have no way to get in and out. So they're requesting that [0:09:09, 0:09:12]: The city abandoned this portion of roadway. [0:09:13, 0:09:17]: Okay. [0:09:18, 0:09:21]: Yeah, you have questions? Okay. One come forward, please. [0:09:24, 0:09:27]: Yes, uh state your name, please. State your name and address. [0:09:29, 0:09:38]: Good uh good evening. My name is uh Kathy Thomas. My address is two five zero five Harmon Park Court, Duluth, Georgia. Okay, thank you. Go ahead, please. [0:09:38, 0:09:45]: Um, hi, Miss Thomas. Can you tell me w um if we abandon this road, what's the um [0:09:47, 0:10:00]: What are your future plans for the road for that area? We did um I do have these time. We do we came before the board back in no December of 20 [0:10:01, 0:10:12]: in 2023 uh and the city council did approve uh this uh mixed use development and that's what these are the plans for the area. [0:10:14, 0:10:15]: Thank you. [0:10:15, 0:10:17]: A mixed use development? Yes. [0:10:19, 0:10:30]: And so that w the road, we're I don't I mean, can somebody give us a map to show us what we're abandon what exactly we would be abandoning? Yeah, he has that too. He's [0:10:31, 0:10:32]: We give them the mat. [0:10:32, 0:10:33]: And when we say abandon [0:10:34, 0:10:37]: Is it our property, Mr Deshes? [0:10:38, 0:10:58]: Aaron, Mr. Aaron? When that portion was annexed into the city, it became a city road. That portion, the other portion that was in Herring County, Henry County has already abandoned that portion. So now you're just gonna have a road bed similar to the situation we had previously, where it runs down the center of a piece of property and and it [0:10:58, 0:11:00]: It connects to nothing. [0:11:01, 0:11:11]: So this is this is the plat of the property. And right now this is the intersection at Jodico Road and Northwest Parallel. The Costco is on the north on the south side. [0:11:11, 0:11:13]: So the portion that's being abandoned is from here. [0:11:14, 0:11:15]: Back here. [0:11:15, 0:11:16]: This on this little [0:11:17, 0:11:21]: Piece right here. [0:11:21, 0:11:40]: I'm trying to figure out which road it is. Is it by Mount Olive? Is it by No, it's on the other side of the street. Other side. Okay. The other side of the street. Mm-hmm. It's on it's on the north side across from the Costco. Oh, across the street. Yeah. Yeah. Across Celtic Road. Is that in and this is the city limits of Stockbridge? Yes, ma'am. The mixed juices as well? Yes, ma'am. Okay. All right. [0:11:41, 0:11:42]: Ms. Barber, do you have a question? [0:11:43, 0:11:43]: Um [0:11:44, 0:11:49]: This map um that you provided to us, is the public able to see this? [0:11:49, 0:11:58]: So they'll know exactly what we're talking about. Yes. The area. Are you showing it on your screen? Oh oh oh is it on here? [0:11:59, 0:12:00]: Is it loaded on? [0:12:02, 0:12:04]: We have the application that I [0:12:08, 0:12:26]: I can say that the district representative did say that he's for this development and that um he wishes that we approve approve the abandonment. Okay. No, I didn't. [0:12:26, 0:12:30]: I'm gonna go to the Hammer County uh website. [0:12:31, 0:12:32]: Yeah, that's not an evil. [0:12:32, 0:12:34]: Yeah, go to county tax assessment. [0:12:34, 0:12:35]: Right. [0:12:48, 0:12:50]: Yeah, I'll search. [0:12:52, 0:12:56]: Here's the search market. [0:12:58, 0:13:02]: Type get a good type in marketplace storefronts there. [0:13:10, 0:13:12]: Once you got space and take the space out. [0:13:14, 0:13:18]: There it is, marketplace store from the final. Let's uh hit the map. [0:13:22, 0:13:23]: You zoom out. [0:13:25, 0:13:26]: There it is. [0:13:27, 0:13:40]: Okay. So it's directly across the street from Costco on the other side. Costco is here on this side right here. And uh this road right here has already been abandoned by the county. And the portion that we want to abandon is this portion right here. [0:13:40, 0:13:41]: Okay. [0:13:42, 0:14:02]: Right. And this mixed use development is in the city limits of Stockbridge, correct? Yes. Could you describe what it actually is going to take place, what type of development the s uh constituents can look forward to seeing since it's already been approved? Yes, it has been approved. It's a uh it's a multifamily as well as [0:14:02, 0:14:11]: Sorry. I'm sorry. It's um um multifamily as well as uh restaurants um on the on the west side of the [0:14:12, 0:14:23]: On the west side of the Northwest Parallel, we've designated a rooftop restaurant, retail on that side, and on the south side, I mean on the east side, it's going to be multifamily. [0:14:24, 0:14:24]: Okay. [0:14:25, 0:14:29]: with ten foot sidewalks, all of those things are detailed on that little site plan. [0:14:29, 0:14:30]: It's right here. [0:14:32, 0:14:51]: Yeah, this is this is the mixed use development that was reproved that was approved by the city. Okay. Yeah. We just can't read it, that's all. Oh I'm sorry. I mean I I I don't know who could read it, but I definitely couldn't read it. Um but I I get it. I um so it's a mixed use development. Is it [0:14:52, 0:15:01]: Single family and multifamily or just uh It's multi multifamily multifamily. Just multifamily. It's right on it's right on eighty five I'm right on seventy five South and Jonaco Road. [0:15:02, 0:15:03]: How many commercial spaces? [0:15:04, 0:15:08]: А да'снти и форти та закверфит комер окома. [0:15:09, 0:15:13]: Of retail. Yes. Okay. All right. Ms. Barber, go ahead, please. [0:15:14, 0:15:23]: So I wanted to ask, um, and I know that you all are developing the area. I support the development, but I wanted to ask. [0:15:23, 0:15:29]: After the development, does the city retain ownership of that roadway? [0:15:30, 0:15:33]: When w when you abandon the road, the roadway is needed. [0:15:33, 0:15:53]: for the development to take place. Right. And when we originally uh the project started when it was really a presented to Planning and Zoning, the abandonment of the road and the Northwest parallel was already planned on coming in, and that's when the development where we work with Planning and Zoning to come up with this development to develop the the concept. [0:15:53, 0:15:54]: Okay. [0:15:54, 0:15:57]: Mister um if I can ask, Mr. Aaron. [0:15:59, 0:16:03]: So once this development is complete, the roads [0:16:03, 0:16:08]: Inside and outside of this development. Will the city? [0:16:09, 0:16:12]: Have to maintain ownership of it at that point. [0:16:13, 0:16:18]: No ma'am, this portion of road will go away. Okay. It'll be a part of this development. [0:16:19, 0:16:39]: 'Cause you got two parts of this property on both sid sides of this road. Okay. Thank you. Yes, folks. So so like for clarification, the the the Western Parallel Connector is the road that we're seeing going through here, correct? Yes. And so the commercial is on what we will see as the western side. [0:16:39, 0:16:39]: Right. [0:16:39, 0:16:51]: of the parallel connector and the residential is on the right side that's adjoining Jodico and I seventy five. Correct. Okay. That's just one perception and bearing for everybody listening and watching. [0:16:52, 0:16:53]: Any other questions? [0:16:54, 0:17:14]: Mr. Mayor, sir sorry, certainly. Thank you for sorry, I was just tardiness. I appreciate it. And uh certainly I do understand the abandonment is necessary to move forward with uh your project because uh with the realignment of the road, uh it certainly would put uh undue burden on [0:17:14, 0:17:34]: The project that you're trying to create. So the abandonment of this road would create uh a better overall development. And G Dot saw that when they decided to have the road be uh in the location that it is, because it needed to line up with uh [0:17:34, 0:17:40]: the Jodico side of development and uh understanding that I'll make a motion to approve. [0:17:41, 0:18:01]: Is there a second to the motion? I second. All right, all favor please. Fantastic. Congratulations. Thank you. You're welcome. Yes, ma'am. Okay. So that was the unanimous decision on that. Staff requesting council's approval for TSW to move forward with producing the design and bid documents for Clark Gardner Memorial Parks as well as the uh [0:18:00, 0:18:20]: Trail design that will link Clark Park with downtown Stockbridge, City Hall, the Amphitheater, and MLK Senior Heritage Trail, and ultimately connecting the other trail spurs and existing city greenways in future phases. This project is part of the park's master plan and the downtown trail project. The funding source is Splot 5 and [0:18:20, 0:18:27]: the bonds for the downtown trail. The cost for the professional services agreement,$775,000. [0:18:28, 0:18:48]: Presented by Mr. Aaron and Brian Bays. Thank you, sir. Yes, Mr. Mayor. Mr. Bays is not here tonight, but Mr. Dye is here uh representing TSW. As part of the Parkmaster plan, uh we had several charrettes and the plan was approved by Mayor and Council with different projects in each one of the parks. So now we're gonna [0:18:48, 0:19:08]: to move forward with actually doing some construction and projects at those parks. You'll have projects at Gardner Park, Clark Park, and Memorial Park. And so this is the planning process where we'll start designing those improvements and get the bid documents ready to bid out these these projects. [0:19:09, 0:19:13]: May Mayor. Okay, questions. Okay, so certainly this is [0:19:14, 0:19:34]: Monumental progress as far as moving forward with the um overall parks master plan, which is this, which the city did uh endeavor to put together the parks master plan and to move forward with um some projects within that. In this, however, I would like to add [0:19:34, 0:19:48]: That we would uh endeavor to have TSW uh create work with the staff and um the uh potential [0:19:50, 0:20:10]: On a potential park design that would include the soccer fields that we have coming with the 12 acres that we acquired on Eagles Landing Parkway. Just to present some ideas to us for the design potential design for that particular project so that it would move forward. [0:20:10, 0:20:30]: forward in the design phase or they would design it. Of course they would have to sit down and they would talk to uh Mr. Morrison and his team uh in order for us to uh put together kind of a concept, kind of like we did for the cultural art, I mean the uh the recreation center and all projects that we do. [0:20:30, 0:20:50]: Because in order for them to uh in order for us to move forward with this park, in addition to all the other parts, it certainly needs to be included and the design needs to start, needs to start with it. And we know that the we know that coming to us uh in the next short term [0:20:50, 0:20:57]: between the next thirty and sixty days would be the gentleman's gonna sit down and make a proposal to us about uh the two soccer fields. [0:20:58, 0:21:18]: If you don't mind, I have a recommendation, full for thought. How about the idea is a good idea? How about that be a separate tasking? A separate tasking because this is a preset amount that is that we already have set. So why don't we take a focus on this preset amount and look at a separate tasking for them for that because that park you're referring to is not even in the downtown area. It's not park uh not [0:21:18, 0:21:38]: Not part of this project that they have. So let's just look at a separate uh process for them. Well, I agree with that. This is not item number six, right? That is six, yes. Right. Item number six is Clark Park, Gardner Park. This is not just related to downtown, right? This is [0:21:38, 0:21:48]: related to the three parts. So those are the three parts. Uh Mr. Gardner prior to him leaving did task T SW with uh including [0:21:48, 0:21:53]: the new park in the park master plan. So they're working on that and I've uh [0:21:53, 0:22:09]: presented Gerald with the contact information for T SW so he can have some conversations about the proposed soccer fields, but there is some ongoing master planning for that property that was acquired from the Henry County Water Authority. Okay, so there is some ongoing [0:22:10, 0:22:13]: Dialogue with T as Mr Mr Sanders come up. [0:22:14, 0:22:34]: I just want to make sure it is moving forward and we just and that is the case because this is gonna be a primary, as you understand, this is a basically the opportunity of a lifetime. So I want to do everything that we can to move this portion forward simultaneously with the other parts because to have professional soccer fields. [0:22:34, 0:22:37]: [1357.4, 1377.4]: Yes, sir. Excuse me. In fact, uh I've spoken with Falcon, uh of which I'm in the process of meeting with them to uh see what we need to do and also have reached out to TSW, haven't heard back from them yet. But the intent is to do exactly what you said, to make sure that we come we get all the engineering and other resources. [0:22:57, 0:23:17]: That we need at the table to talk about master planning. And of course, the contacting of TSW will be to do what you suggested to me last week, and that is get with them to alter the master plan, if you will, so that it is a it is inclusive of the soccer facility going forward. And in and the other thing I would share with you all is. [0:23:17, 0:23:37]: Is uh Mr. Morrison, who is with the Southern Crescent Soccer Association, has reached out to me in an email with some questions and wants to have that type of engagement with us and the engineers so that we can begin doing some of the same things that you just suggested. So I'm trying in the process of answering his email and then setting up the necessary meetings so that. [0:23:37, 0:23:40]: Mm-hmm. [0:23:41, 0:23:45]: Let us not say that we just reached out to TSW. [0:23:45, 0:23:55]: We need to make some contact. So we need the wheels rolling. Yes sir. Yes, sir. So there's an attempt to get them rolling and that done this week, not next week, but this week. [0:23:56, 0:24:00]: So uh Miss Gantt go ahead please. I I d I have one concern with that. Okay. [0:24:00, 0:24:09]: if the if the soccer uh whatever the foundation is and associations, um kind of like the NFL and other like uh uh the m the [0:24:09, 0:24:17]: major baseball league and all that. They usually do all the designing and and things of their o on their own. I don't want to [0:24:18, 0:24:18]: Um [0:24:20, 0:24:21]: Volunteer [0:24:22, 0:24:22]: Any [0:24:23, 0:24:24]: Volunteer any [0:24:24, 0:24:33]: thing that we don't have to volunteer right now. I mean, I I what I want what my opinion is, of course we support it. [0:24:34, 0:24:36]: But I think we should talk about this um [0:24:36, 0:24:38]: You know, we have a set'em out here. [0:24:39, 0:24:41]: And in addition to that [0:24:42, 0:24:45]: It was from my understanding, s based off of some of the things I heard that they were [0:24:46, 0:24:47]: Kind of take this project. [0:24:48, 0:24:49]: In maybe [0:24:50, 0:25:10]: design what they want as as far as professional fields and we would work with them. So I don't want us saying that we are I don't want us jumping the gun and saying we're gonna pay for some type of design or something. L let me explain something to you. It's a say I'm I'm in total agreement with you. I'm not saying we're gonna design the fields. [0:25:09, 0:25:29]: I'm saying that TSW would come up with some concepts on basically where the walking pass would be located, where the fields would be located in coordination with Mr. Morrison and his team. I just want to make sure that this is included in the overall plan and that we officially sanction that [0:25:29, 0:25:49]: They would do so. They would design the fields. They're gonna pay for the fields. That's it. But certainly they're not we're not doing anything to interfere with that because they're paying for the fields. No how many fields are they talking to? So we just tell T SW to locate an area where they can put two soccer fields and then we just master plan the rest of it. [0:25:50, 0:26:10]: You know, if they're gonna pay for the design, then let them pay for the design of the soccer field, but we just leave enough space for them to build those two soccer fields if if they choose, and if not, then we have that land for future uses. So that's the p that is that is the plan. That's what I'm trying to explain to you is that we're not gonna do tie-ins. But they're awesome with coming up with [0:26:10, 0:26:30]: With things that we never thought about. You know what I'm saying? What like when when we can't when they divide an all amphitheater, they think outside the box, things that we've never thought about doing. They'll say, Oh, try this or look at this. I don't want to tell them exactly what to do. I just want them to say, These two soccer fields are going here, and then they were. [0:26:30, 0:26:43]: kinda say look at whatever uh what else we could include in that that leaves that that opens the door to task in TSW just to identify the area location for the cycle fields in or would [0:26:44, 0:26:53]: with the association even do that? Because what I don't want to do is step on their I want them to have free reign in regards to if they're gonna put two [0:26:53, 0:26:59]: Two professional sized soccer fields. I don't wanna spend [0:26:59, 0:27:15]: additional funds on something that we need to possibly tweak later. Probably rather I'd rather get their ideas first and then we tie ours in. Right. They they're gonna meet with Mr Morrison as a part of the thing first. Yeah. Yeah, okay. Okay. [0:27:15, 0:27:16]: It's Barber. [0:27:16, 0:27:17]: Do you have some comments? [0:27:17, 0:27:20]: If there are no other questions, I'd like to make a motion, sir. [0:27:21, 0:27:21]: Go right here, please. [0:27:22, 0:27:22]: Okay. [0:27:23, 0:27:26]: I motion to approve staff's recommendation. [0:27:26, 0:27:27]: For approval. [0:27:28, 0:27:32]: Про тіс дав то му форви продусінь та дизайн. [0:27:32, 0:27:34]: And bid documents for Clark. [0:27:34, 0:27:36]: Gardner and Memorial Park. [0:27:37, 0:27:39]: А звел зрайл дизайн. [0:27:39, 0:27:40]: That will link [0:27:41, 0:27:42]: Clark Park. [0:27:42, 0:27:44]: with downtown Stockbridge. [0:27:44, 0:27:45]: City Hall. [0:27:45, 0:27:46]: The amphitheater. [0:27:47, 0:27:49]: The MLK Senior Heritage Trail [0:27:50, 0:27:51]: And ultimately [0:27:51, 0:27:54]: Connecting with other trail spurs. [0:27:54, 0:27:56]: And existing city greenways. [0:27:57, 0:27:58]: In future phases. [0:27:59, 0:28:00]: This project [0:28:01, 0:28:03]: As part of the parks master plan. [0:28:03, 0:28:05]: And the downtown trail project. [0:28:06, 0:28:07]: The funding source. [0:28:07, 0:28:09]: It's plus five. [0:28:09, 0:28:10]: And bonds. [0:28:11, 0:28:12]: For the downtown trail. [0:28:13, 0:28:16]: costs for the professional services agreement? [0:28:16, 0:28:19]: Seven hundred seventy five thousand dollars. [0:28:20, 0:28:21]: Is there a second emotion? [0:28:21, 0:28:22]: I got one question. [0:28:23, 0:28:26]: Okay. The trail, the master trail plan link. [0:28:26, 0:28:29]: Did Falcon Design not give us that already? Excuse me now. [0:28:30, 0:28:32]: Did Falcon Design not give that to us already? [0:28:33, 0:28:45]: The Path Foundation is working with the No not the downtown. TSW is working with the Path Foundation on this portion though. Okay, all right. Okay, I'm good. Are you seconding the motion? I second. The motion is second. All three, please indicate. [0:28:45, 0:28:47]: Unanimous decision, thank you very much. [0:28:48, 0:28:49]: Mm-hmm. [0:28:50, 0:28:50]: Okay. [0:28:51, 0:29:11]: Council consideration to approve the Trail Project Service Agreement with the PAF Foundation design team will provide a full professional services for surveying landscape architecture, engineering permitting, contract administration, and construction management of a.25 mile, twelve foot wide concrete multi-use trail connecting Clark Park. [0:29:11, 0:29:31]: To Club Place following the Brush Creek Corridor. The mid-block crossing is proposed on Davis Road. The Brush Creek Trail Project is a T S PLOSS project. The funding source is T S PLOS. The cost of the trail services agreement is$109,610. Uh Mr. Aaron, please. And Mr. Gaither, again, Gantther, I guess. [0:29:31, 0:29:32]: to this. [0:29:32, 0:29:35]: Yes, Mr. Mayor. Um as you're aware [0:29:36, 0:29:54]: Uh the Path Foundation is assisting the city with developing and building trails that were identified in the T Splash. So this is the first project that we'll be building using the Path Foundation. So this is the service agreement to get started with the design and the bid documents for the Brush Creek Trail. [0:29:55, 0:30:15]: Mayor. Yes, sir. We've thoroughly reviewed this project in the past. It's been presented to the public, so I'd like to make a motion to approve. Sure, go ahead. I second. Ms. Gantt second the motion. All in favor, please indicate. Thank you very much. Thank you, sir. Thank you. I do or don't go yet. And I think Ms. Barber has said it too. I do want to make [0:30:15, 0:30:33]: make sure that we're on the same page. And some of the time those things do need to be codified by a vote. So what you just suggested to me, repeat what you just said about what the direction is on this part uh and that you that has been tasked to TSD. What repeat that. [0:30:33, 0:30:53]: Yes, uh Mr. Gardner prior to him leaving tasked TSW with including the property that was acquired from the Henry County Water Authority into the parts master plan. So I think some conversation if you looking at if the city's looking at those soccer fields is we tasked TSW to include an area for those two soccer professionals. [0:30:53, 0:31:01]: Professional soccer fields so that they're not included in the master plan development. There's enough property for that to happen. [0:31:01, 0:31:18]: I certainly want to make a motion to approve what the city manager has already directed so that this park is officially a part of the parks master plan,'cause it originally was not, and that we should move forward as Mr. Aaron has described. [0:31:19, 0:31:25]: Is there a second to that motion? I second. Okay, all all favor y you have a question? What's your question, please? Yes. Um so [0:31:26, 0:31:33]: I don't know what that cost will be. I don't know what the cost will be for them to add the design. [0:31:33, 0:31:46]: um into what we've just approved. Right. So I was hoping that you would have Mr. Aaron to bring back whatever the design cost is for that and where we would how we would fund it. [0:31:46, 0:31:56]: Certainly that's the be amended the motion to we would approve that tasking the staff with it and that staff would bring back the cost for the design. [0:31:57, 0:32:00]: Yes, I'll get that. Got a vote six six. [0:32:01, 0:32:13]: Well, I'm concerned that if there is a cost, I thought it was already included so there's a separate task order for including this property into the park master plan. Right. And so [0:32:13, 0:32:18]: I don't think there sh would be a substantial cost'cause the only thing you're just telling them [0:32:18, 0:32:21]: If you decide it's five acres instead of them [0:32:22, 0:32:42]: Master planning twelve acres, they master plan seven acres and just leave that five acres available for them to put those fields or however they however much space is needed for those soccer fields, then we just tell'em identify that amount of space for the potential soccer fields. And that doesn't stop. [0:32:42, 0:32:56]: stop us or increase costs cause they were already master plan they would have been a master plan of the entire site anyway. So Right. And that's what the whole thing is to make sure that it is officially included. Cause when we first started the park parks master plan, it wasn't included. No. [0:32:58, 0:33:06]: Motion's been made, been seconded by Miss Gantt. All favor, please indicate. Okay, unanimous decision. Thank you very much. Thank you, Mr. Aaron. Thank you. Okay.
