Uh Council on the review of the minutes. Um once we review the April 14th, uh, twenty twenty-five council. [0:07:42, 0:07:52]: meeting minutes and also the April twenty first uh special call meeting minutes. Review those and we'll take a look at to uh approve those at our next meeting. [0:07:52, 0:08:12]: Okay. On that note, we're going to quarterly reports. We started this back up. Now what it is is that I have before me the actual manager's report. We'll kick this off. And this is in and the manager's report actually is consolidation for the first three months of course of this uh fiscal year. And it covers actually all the uh different departments. [0:08:12, 0:08:32]: And I'll try to highlight some of those things those departments. And if there are any specific questions when I'm done, then the the the actual members of the department heads are here if need be. And they're and you should have in your book the all the information in reference to their highlights from the first quarter. All right. So uh let me go down this and uh and see what we got here in this aspect. Of course, uh [0:08:32, 0:08:52]: I'm acting interim manager for what a little bit longer here. The uh of course the city manager typically attends and and supports new businesses and ribbon cuttings. And uh there is a civic sign is uh twice a month uh that uh now I'm now attending that. And of course uh in the past, during the first part of this quarter, the city manager [0:08:52, 0:09:12]: Manager did uh attend the Bridge Geological Development type meeting with Mr. Jeff Grant and other members of the staff, along with the actual uh recurring minutes meeting with the Henry County Development Authority. And the let's talk about the event staff. Uh over the first quarter, the event staff has had roughly sixty thousand dollars in total revenue. Um [0:09:12, 0:09:32]: And so far with events. Forty five events were over the force of the first three months. And uh they're in preparation, of course, for any type of the twenty twenty five events that are coming up shortly. And that includes a short list of that food trucks, uh, Tasty Tuesday, Memorial March, and of course uh we'll have our first free concert, city sponsored concert, uh in uh June for June. [0:09:32, 0:09:37]: nineteenth and rest of development will be on stage primarily for that as well. The municipal court [0:09:37, 0:09:41]: Uh citation scheduled for the court during the first quarter, one thousand one hundred and twenty five. The Human Resources Department, there are 13 open positions currently, nine hires during the first three months, 34 employee recognitions. The turnover rate is 7.69%. [0:10:28, 0:10:40]: Actively we have 180 employees and during the first quarter terminated or separated with 15 individuals and average time for hire would be 132.42 months normal hire. [0:10:40, 0:11:00]: Uh Department of Public Works, of course, infrastructure investment is critical to the city's continued success, economic success. And so, of course, we have aging deteriorating and obsolete type of infrastructure. Give you an idea of the pipelines and value uh valves anywhere from 40 to 50 years old, mechanical equipment could be 15 years old, wells and springs 25 to 35 years. [0:11:00, 0:11:12]: years old, storage tanks 30 to 60 to give you an idea about infrastructure and things that we have to to maintain and then improve as time goes on. Here recently we had changed out the grass [0:11:12, 0:11:32]: Uh if at the amphitheater where a more porous uh pavement, it was completed a day, be ready for the first concert on the on uh Saturday. And there have been some overhead street signs that have been replaced uh and that here recently as well. And LMEG funding, uh we have uh over first quarter of Valley Hill Road. [0:11:32, 0:11:52]: And says O'Canya's role were also paved during this time frame. And of course, what is next, the mayor of the council of administrative support staff. So first quarter, you go, of course, you have Rosen Rawls and Raven Eaton as our assistants. And they of course support all our council initiatives, could be one from the Bingo Bash. [0:11:52, 0:12:12]: The MLK Day of Service, uh, it could be the the um uh anything with uh excuse me, uh meeting the mayor, uh town halls that we would have, young gift and and uh honors the ceremony, young and gift honors the ceremony, along with my clergy round table, um your prom dress giveaway that was it was conducted and [0:12:12, 0:12:27]: And uh so those are the type of things as you know, Council that they support us on. The clerk's office uh is has for the general public's reply on all information rega uh regarding the operation legislative history of the city. Uh so uh they're the hub of all the information. [0:12:27, 0:12:47]: And during the course of the first quarter, they prepared 36 meeting agendas, 17 council and committee uh board meetings, 28 operations staff and agenda review meetings, nine different training sessions, two thousand one hundred and eighteen meeting notes, six proclamations, and twenty-two oaths of office, and 130 open records requests. The IT department for the first quarter [0:12:47, 0:12:50]: Just some highlights and things, print uh [0:12:50, 0:13:09]: Server rebuild, email security modifications, internal onboarding and equipment process review, SharePoint kickoff for the police department, software acquisition requests, lighthouse training and review. Uh has occurred, ongoing type of projects deal with the SOP for departments, procurement and accounting, and vendor bid review for security systems. [0:13:09, 0:13:24]: Uh let's go on. Uh let's see here. Uh the economic development quarterly report, uh tax allocation update. Of course, in this aspect the Henry County Board of Commissioners have uh uh have signed an agreement with us, still working with the [0:13:24, 0:13:26]: uh school board to uh uh [0:13:27, 0:13:29]: Beyond can um come on board and reference this as well. [0:13:30, 0:13:50]: uh working with North Force Southern Railway uh parking lot uh lease agreement for additional um parking spots 35 to 40 in the downtown area for our our our entertainment area. And we also had a special service district uh that was a option that was uh given to us in the sense given a briefing in reference to staff at our retreat. [0:13:50, 0:13:54]: And uh that is designed to assist municipalities with raising funds. [0:13:54, 0:13:57]: For any type of projects that we have in our community. [0:13:57, 0:14:06]: And um of course we're working through a partnership with Southern Crescent Soccer Association. And uh this aspect we're moving along with that and have that for uh humanity. [0:14:06, 0:14:26]: And obviously, there are two homes, two two pieces of two homes that are going on some property that we we uh uh sold to them or uh donated to them on this aspect as well. Um Mr. Anderson's uh community director. Um zoning cases and rezoning modifications during the first quarter of nine, plan review and commercial and residential. [0:14:26, 0:14:28]: Yeah. [0:15:19, 0:15:39]: And then you have business services in reference to um the year to date for business services. Let's see here. Uh you got the steel spirits and beer and wine, hotel, motel, wine consumption in a particular type of uh [0:15:39, 0:15:59]: Diagram here. And the um uh been a services for the first quarter, and their services are one million four hundred twenty. [0:15:59, 0:16:19]: $12 and nine well$1,412,958.53. And see here. And the total revenue was uh for the first quarter with business services uh first quarter there is one million four hundred and fifty two seven oh seven hundred forty and seventy-four cents. That's just a rough estimate about that. [0:16:19, 0:16:33]: Uh council, I don't know if you had any specific questions for the directors. You have the forms in front of you. Just want to come uh do a quick upview of some highlights for the first quarter. Um if there are not any questions, we'll move on. Don't know if there are any questions or concerns here. [0:16:35, 0:16:35]: Okay. [0:16:36, 0:16:56]: Seeing none, then I'll move on to consent agenda then.
