When I made neighbors aware of the potential of the Rock Quarry Road extension being connected to Duvall Drive. The Henry Herald had this to say: “Public attention during the meeting centered on the proposed Rock Quarry Road Extension after residents from the Duvall Drive area reported receiving what they described as misleading information about the project’s potential route.” This was in response to me distributing a printed map of the second route thru Duvall and a note that read, “this issue tonight may effect you.”
Let’s examine who is misleading whom. The City of Stockbridge Trails Plan shows Duvall Dr. as part of the trail on February 25, 2025
Starting with the extra cost of the first option that crosses the watershed thus connecting to Old Conyers. Ending on the second option, stating the Duvall Dr. route “screams East Atlanta to me.” On August 26th, 2025 Falcon Design outlined the following in concert with Mayor Ford.
