CITY OF STOCKBRIDGE COUNCIL RETREAT ACTION MINUTES February 20, 2016 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Mayor Pro Tem Anthony S. Ford called the meeting to order at 8:00 a.m.; Council members present were: Councilman Elton Alexander, Councilwoman LaKeisha Gantt, Councilman John Blount and Councilwoman Neat Robinson; a quorum was confirmed. City Manager, Michael Harris, City Attorney, Michael Williams, and City Clerk, Vanessa Holiday were also in attendance. The Retreat Facilitator was Eric Robinson of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government. Following a review of Day One, City Attorney, Michael Williams brought forward for discussion and review, a proposed Code of Conduct for Council consideration. City Manager, Michael Harris presented a review of the previous Retreat, referenced goals that were established, completed and ongoing from 2015; and also presented a review of the 2016 Projects and Initiatives as outlined by the Council. The Council focused on establishing priority projects, setting goals, noting the actions required to obtain the goals and who would be responsible for completing the goals and noted the projected timelines.
