B. SYC Year Recap - SYC members went over the Youth Entrepreneur Expo (YEE) in particular. - The consensus on the YEE is as follows: - A different date, such as Saturday instead of Sunday, would help in improving both event logistics and traction. - The event should be held outdoors. An indoors location detracts from outside attention, and limits activity. - The check-in and check-out processes should be made more easily trackable. - One system has been proposed through TrackItForward. - Google forms can also be used for check-in and check-out processes. - There was a lot of positive feedback from the Skate Night event. More events engaging the youth of the community in a physical sense would do well while promoting the SYC’s goal of youth wellness. C. SYC New Officer Elections - The SYC voted on new officers in today’s meeting; results will be announced at the Senior Banquet. - Parliamentarian: Marcus McCray, Aiden Zellars, Alivia Duck, Selah Lewis. - City Clerk: N/A. - City Manager: Aiden Zellars. - Mayor Pro-Tem: Reea Patel, Selah Lewis. - Mayor: Houleymatou Diallo.
