--- title: Main Street Advisory Board Meeting date: 2021-04-09 source: 2021-04-09_Main_Street_Advisory_Board_Meeting.wav --- [0:00:00, 0:00:12]: because she had an emergency with regard to um staffing at her office. Um so she did send her apologies for not being here. Also, um, Mr. Um [0:00:12, 0:00:16]: Horton did contact me and let me know that he would not be able to [0:00:17, 0:00:20]: attend the meeting. He also had um [0:00:20, 0:00:39]: an issue arise. So um today has been kind of a weird morning. So I uh um hope that everyone is doing well and continues to do so. Um those who are able to attend Rocio said that she was going to try to log on a little later. She had a doctor's appointment this morning. So [0:00:39, 0:00:44]: Um we are gonna keep continue on. I have invited um [0:00:45, 0:01:05]: Mr. Lincoln Parks, who is the owner of Web Mobile Fusion, who has been working very diligently with us on the website for the Main Street program. So I am excited to turn it over to him so that he can take you through the website, just kind of give you [0:01:05, 0:01:17]: an overview of what we're trying to accomplish and um let you all just see what we've been working on. You all are going to be kind of our beta testers. We're going to let you all have the link. [0:01:18, 0:01:27]: And um you all outside of the meeting will be able to go onto the site and just kind of cruise around um the pages and just see. [0:01:27, 0:01:30]: If it is intuitive, if it um [0:01:31, 0:01:34]: works for you if you think that um there are some [0:01:34, 0:01:42]: tweaks that need to be made, you all will be able to let us know. So um I'm going to turn it over to Lincoln now and he's going to um [0:01:42, 0:01:49]: share his screen with us and um then we'll be able to um kind of see what's going on. Okay. [0:01:50, 0:01:52]: Okay. Um [0:01:55, 0:01:58]: See here. Let me go in. [0:02:00, 0:02:05]: Can I do I have access? Okay, yeah, I do. I see here. Yeah, you should. [0:02:05, 0:02:06]: Yeah. [0:02:06, 0:02:11]: And Willie, I think somebody else has just joined the meeting. Who is that on the phone? [0:02:12, 0:02:18]: Mildred. No, I'm still I'm on the dial in. Right. Okay, we're fine now. But Okay, thank you. [0:02:18, 0:02:23]: All right, we still don't have a quorum, so one more person, um, Vice Chair Hopkins. [0:02:23, 0:02:28]: Okay, now I was trying to write some information. Where are you on the agenda? [0:02:28, 0:02:31]: Uh, we're at the website demonstration. [0:02:32, 0:02:33]: Um under my report. [0:02:34, 0:02:36]: Gotcha. I gotcha. Okay. Thank you. [0:02:37, 0:02:37]: Thanks. [0:02:37, 0:02:39]: Okay, you guys see my screen now? [0:02:40, 0:02:41]: Yes. [0:02:42, 0:02:44]: Okay. Um [0:02:44, 0:02:48]: Again, uh thank you guys for for having me on a part of uh [0:02:48, 0:02:52]: what uh this this collaboration with [0:02:53, 0:03:13]: Main Street and Stockbridge has been great. It's a good opportunity again. Um, I know from the uh the the chambers perspective, uh part of my goals uh this year uh was definitely highlighting small businesses and uh being a black owned business um in Henry County, I could tell you it's uh it's it's [0:03:12, 0:03:20]: It's been difficult at times to to actually do business with uh with with with cities and [0:03:21, 0:03:39]: and and uh and the government and a part of you know being on the side of being an entrepreneur and then also working with henry county and and and all of the cities um that's something that's a goal of mine to continue to help out small businesses uh to continue to grow and and be able to [0:03:40, 0:03:41]: Yeah. [0:03:42, 0:03:42]: Y [0:03:42, 0:04:02]: Again, I thank you guys for for giving me that opportunity to be able to do that. That's a part of my my goal is unity. That's my theme this year for um for the chamber. So uh thank you guys. So what you're looking at right now is uh uh what um Kira and Lisa have been working along with [0:04:02, 0:04:22]: me um for for a while and uh you know we wanted to we've been tweaking it and meeting every week and they've been emailing me and we've been emailing each other and and going back and forth and and so uh hope you guys uh like what we put here together. So you know I know they want to have the aesthetics of something not something [0:04:22, 0:04:41]: boxy but something that you know has some curvature to it, uh something that that looks really good. It's festive. So we just took some photos uh that we've had uh that they've gathered over the over the course of a few years um at Main Street and and we're placing those out throughout the remainder of the site. So [0:04:42, 0:05:01]: As you can see here, you know, we're just highlighting some of those things, highlighting um the Main Street approach, what that looks like. Um we have uh videos here that can play on that area. This is a drop-down box that um you can read more about the uh the approach. Um [0:05:02, 0:05:03]: Let me go back. [0:05:03, 0:05:12]: Then here we have some buttons that you could roll over that take you into certain areas on the website that that are really uh just pop out at you and and you [0:05:13, 0:05:22]: You can see that in this next area here, what what's going on? Um we have this is going to be an area that [0:05:22, 0:05:28]: houses uh some blog articles and some articles that people can just click on and and it goes right over. [0:05:29, 0:05:30]: In two. [0:05:32, 0:05:34]: um populated there. [0:05:34, 0:05:40]: um as we go down again um just talking a little bit about the downtown and having um [0:05:40, 0:05:42]: uh bright pictures there. [0:05:42, 0:06:02]: Um, we do have a a gallery, and I'm gonna go through each one of these things real quick. Um, so we have a gallery of of photos that have been taken from events that um that we'll be sharing. Um we do have testimonials from business owners uh that are uh are sliding through there. So as those [0:06:02, 0:06:12]: those business owners and these could be changed at any time. These photos and and testimonials can be rotated. So you can see that they're scrolling through right now with different business owners in there. [0:06:13, 0:06:29]: And then the social time area. Um, right now we have the feed for uh Twitter for the city coming through, but we do have a Main Street Twitter, Instagram, Facebook that will be populated in this area right here. Um, so more social. [0:06:29, 0:06:36]: And what this does is it'll just keep people on the website, you know, looking through uh social media and and interacting there with social media. [0:06:37, 0:06:42]: Um and then in this area is where people can uh contact you. [0:06:42, 0:06:53]: So it's uh it's just a form that they can just fill out and submit and that that contacts you. And then we have the footer here on the website where people can access social media and other quick links. [0:06:54, 0:06:59]: So if we go back up and actually there's a feature here, I know Miss Lisa will wanted this. [0:06:59, 0:07:00]: Um where if he did [0:07:01, 0:07:02]: Click on it, it can take [0:07:03, 0:07:03]: The [0:07:05, 0:07:08]: Under Abu we have a couple areas. [0:07:09, 0:07:21]: Here uh we have who we are. And then as you scroll down here, you can see um you talk about uh this uh Stockbridge Main Street. So what this does if you click on that. [0:07:22, 0:07:24]: That's gonna take into [0:07:24, 0:07:26]: Um the program, Main Street program. [0:07:27, 0:07:41]: As you can see on on each of the headers, what we tried to do is add some photos in there that were pertinent to the cities. But this just uh um to to Main Street, but this goes in and just gives you an overview. You can open these up. [0:07:41, 0:07:45]: Um gives you an overview of the mission statement. Um [0:07:45, 0:07:52]: a philosophy, a statement, uh just give you some information on the overview of Main Street. [0:07:52, 0:08:10]: uh so you know we wanted to present that in a way that you have all that information there um and then these links here take you out to georgia main street the national main street and then these last two links here um will highlight your advisory board [0:08:10, 0:08:14]: So we have a picture there um of you guys and and [0:08:14, 0:08:23]: We also have uh individual uh photos here with with the names and everything right under right under that. So um that's [0:08:24, 0:08:29]: you know, highlighting you guys. We could add more in. Miss Barber, I would need a uh that photo for you. [0:08:29, 0:08:39]: And then I could get that in there for you. Uh and then we have, you know, some photos that we're gonna add down here in the bottom. I know some of these may be duplicate, but we'll add, you know, change these out to make sure they're [0:08:41, 0:08:46]: Where we have more of a uh photos in that photo gallery area. [0:08:47, 0:08:48]: Um [0:08:48, 0:08:50]: Then as we go down, I would [0:08:51, 0:08:52]: Uh our staff [0:08:53, 0:08:54]: Th um [0:08:54, 0:08:55]: These uh [0:08:55, 0:08:57]: And Kira, um, I do have that. [0:08:57, 0:08:59]: Updated now. [0:08:59, 0:09:02]: Um with their photo up here. Um and [0:09:02, 0:09:05]: Kira, we're gonna get that fun fact from you and throw that in. [0:09:06, 0:09:07]: Um [0:09:07, 0:09:12]: And then uh having them, you know, they're they're so phogenic, always taking these uh [0:09:13, 0:09:22]: These doodle pictures. So, you know, just having them in there highlighting them. So so that's that's good to have you guys, you know, featured on there so people could read up on that and see. [0:09:22, 0:09:25]: Um read about more about you guys. [0:09:25, 0:09:45]: in the news is is an area. This is another um um blog area. Uh and and as you see any of these photos that that are up there, what we try to do is to to when people land on the page, it's big, it's bold. And you know that that imagery with the curvature that you could see there on it. And again, [0:09:45, 0:09:58]: these are some of the stories that we'll be adding in. Um and these will be populated in here people will be able to scroll through and and read any of those stories that are um that are tagged as as news. [0:09:58, 0:10:18]: Um you have your blog. So we we we we we looked at that. Uh this would take you over to the city's um website and then this would take you over to downtown development. So if you click on any of those, it'll tell you that you're um that you're leaving the website, and then you can say yes or no if you want to stay on the website or you wanna leave. So I'll just say no. [0:10:18, 0:10:24]: there and that'll keep you on the on the website. Same thing for downtown development authority. [0:10:24, 0:10:25]: Um [0:10:25, 0:10:29]: Under here we have uh downtown plans. [0:10:29, 0:10:46]: Uh and I know what we did with that was we utilized the uh RSVP report that was already built in that you guys have. So you know I know you're all familiar with with that uh and that'll just take you through that that report. [0:10:46, 0:10:48]: Uh that's there. [0:10:49, 0:11:09]: Um, we do have this takes you over to Merl Manders. We have a page here dedicated to the amphitheater. Uh, so as you click on that, people can see what's going on at the amphitheater. We'll have some more information that we'll populate in here with some more photos and we could have videos, whatever is going on at the amphitheater. [0:11:09, 0:11:20]: theater, you know, if it's a new event or something like that that's coming, all of that could be listed out in this area. So this will be a great place for people to come come to and and see what's going on. [0:11:21, 0:11:24]: Um we do. And we have an uh Lincoln. [0:11:24, 0:11:32]: Lincoln, I was just gonna let everybody know we haven't put um live pictures there because the amphitheater hasn't been, you know, formally opened yet. [0:11:33, 0:11:38]: So once um we have the grand opening for the um [0:11:39, 0:11:39]: For the [0:11:39, 0:11:47]: Amphitheater, we'll put live pictures instead of renderings there, in case you all were wondering. I know you all have seen pictures of the amphitheater, but that's because [0:11:48, 0:11:51]: You all are in a a VIP group, so you all get to see it. [0:11:52, 0:11:56]: before everybody else does, but we will put um real pictures in there. [0:11:57, 0:11:59]: Okay, sorry, Lincoln. No problem, no problem. [0:11:59, 0:12:02]: Um we have an area here for uh videos. [0:12:02, 0:12:08]: We'll have that populated with uh with a lot of videos that that we have um from around [0:12:08, 0:12:14]: uh the city and and what main street populates. Um in this area here are uh [0:12:14, 0:12:22]: partnerships um that you guys have. I know we have we we still need to get that uh updated. [0:12:22, 0:12:38]: Morrow Manders logo. And I think we still needed to have the uh um Stockbridge Elementary, I think um was the other one that we needed to have in there. But um these take you over to those websites that will be again, it'll prompt you and let you know that you're you're leaving the website. [0:12:39, 0:12:39]: Um [0:12:41, 0:12:43]: under downtown businesses. [0:12:43, 0:12:49]: Um Lincoln, I'm sorry, did you do initiatives? Oh, did I do initiatives? [0:12:49, 0:13:09]: No, it's under one three. Okay, I didn't do initiatives. Okay, so under under initiatives, we do have the two here, Small Business Saturday and Little Free Library. Uh so we go under Small Business Saturday and we'll update some some more of these, but uh we'll add some more photos in this area. [0:13:09, 0:13:29]: Area up top of businesses. What we'd like to have is local businesses in this area that could be rotated through. So, you know, we don't want to have stock here, but we'll have some local businesses that we have in that area. And then any small business Saturday photos, again, we'll have a gallery. [0:13:29, 0:13:39]: in this area down here so that you know as those photos are are are taken and these could be swapped in and out, um, we'll have those populated in this area. So [0:13:40, 0:13:41]: Yeah. [0:13:42, 0:13:52]: Any um associated videos that go with that, and I know we do have quite a few of those would also go in this area so that can highlight um what's going on for a small business. [0:13:52, 0:13:53]: Saturday. [0:13:54, 0:13:59]: Um again under that initiatives area is a little free library. [0:13:59, 0:14:18]: Um and this was one that I know was uh you know is very instrumental in in you know in Stockbridge and just talking a little bit about that and then also highlighting the three libraries that you have. If people want to locate where those are, you can actually click on it. [0:14:19, 0:14:23]: And then that'll give you directions on how to get. [0:14:23, 0:14:24]: Okay. [0:14:26, 0:14:43]: it'll tell you exactly where it is and and and they can get directions on how to get there on each one of these. So um that's there with information and that also takes you over to um littlefreelibrary.org uh website as well so as information comes we'll continue to populate that. [0:14:44, 0:14:48]: Um and then for downtown businesses. [0:14:48, 0:15:00]: And um I'm I'm I'm still working on this, but uh this highlights um a lot of the businesses in in the area. So uh what we'll have is pretty much as we [0:15:01, 0:15:15]: build out all the businesses in here. We'll just have you know icons that represent each one of the businesses uh and some contact information for for each of those businesses. I know some of these um I I need to update. [0:15:15, 0:15:18]: Uh and we'll get those um added. [0:15:18, 0:15:20]: A button [0:15:20, 0:15:22]: lighting all the businesses there. [0:15:23, 0:15:25]: In um in the main street. [0:15:26, 0:15:26]: District. [0:15:27, 0:15:30]: And then uh the last thing was [0:15:30, 0:15:38]: You know, just uh a contact us area again. You know, we want to make sure that we have that populated all throughout the uh website so people can contact. [0:15:39, 0:15:39]: Do you [0:15:40, 0:15:58]: um and that gives you the ability to you know this information would go directly to uh kira and lisa um if if anyone wants to contact them there's a a map that's built into um built into this area right here with directions um that people can can find that [0:15:59, 0:16:00]: So um [0:16:01, 0:16:04]: This was uh just an overview of the um [0:16:05, 0:16:23]: of the website. I hope you guys like it. I hope it's um it's something that you know you could be you could be proud of and and and really just show show off to folks. I think um I think that logo is supposed to change, right? Um Kira, I think so. Um we're working on that. Um [0:16:23, 0:16:32]: We had discussed with the board a a l some time ago that we were going to be uh revamping the logo so that it better matched with the city's colors. [0:16:33, 0:16:38]: So um we're working on that currently, but um yes, that will change. [0:16:38, 0:16:46]: And I also wanted to point out that we do have a search option on the site so that you know if people want to search something specifically. [0:16:46, 0:16:51]: They don't have to, you know, scroll around. Um, I really like that. [0:16:51, 0:16:53]: um aspect of the site. [0:16:53, 0:16:59]: And then also um I like how you can navigate there's a little button on the side. Oh [0:16:59, 0:17:06]: it disappeared. But there was a little arrow that shows oh there it is that shows you you you know you can move up and down. [0:17:06, 0:17:09]: Um, so people don't get lost in the scroll. [0:17:10, 0:17:14]: Um, I think that that's also a very nice feature. [0:17:14, 0:17:18]: And I just want to take the time to thank Lincoln. [0:17:18, 0:17:27]: And Lisa, because they have worked very tirelessly on this site. Lisa has looked at literally thousands of photographs. [0:17:28, 0:17:31]: and has um called them and [0:17:31, 0:17:34]: Um cropped some of them, edited some of them. [0:17:34, 0:17:46]: to provide them um to Lincoln so that he um has some good stock to use so that we can use our actual photos as opposed to having to go online and take generic photos. [0:17:46, 0:17:48]: This is gonna be a website that [0:17:48, 0:17:51]: Highlights our community and highlights our downtown so [0:17:52, 0:17:53]: I'm really, really [0:17:54, 0:17:55]: Um appreciative. [0:17:55, 0:18:03]: To Lisa for going through all of these photos. And she's still working. She's this is a work in progress. She's still pulling photos and [0:18:03, 0:18:05]: Sending them to Lincoln. [0:18:05, 0:18:09]: And Lincoln has been very patient with us novices at [0:18:09, 0:18:14]: putting together a website. So I thank you for your patience and all of your [0:18:14, 0:18:24]: um hard work on this. And now I just want to open it up to um those of you who are um in our meeting today. Do you have any comments? Um [0:18:25, 0:18:27]: Any um suggestions and again [0:18:28, 0:18:31]: I will allow everyone to um have the link. [0:18:31, 0:18:37]: for um a few days so that you all can kinda navigate through the site and see if you [0:18:37, 0:18:43]: um have any tweaks that you would like to recommend. Uh Willie, did you have anything that you wanted to um [0:18:44, 0:18:44]: No. [0:18:45, 0:18:48]: Um no, not at this time. I would like to, you know [0:18:48, 0:19:02]: get the time to just to take my time and peruse through it. But uh first I'll just say everything that he's presented is presented very well, very tasteful, very direct to the the brand of what the cities and downtown is trying to become. [0:19:02, 0:19:22]: And uh but I just want to thank him for hard work and Lisa, as always, you always put that right foot forward. So uh thank you so much for that. And I look forward to uh the finished product on this and I think it's gonna be it's gonna do the city very well. And I'm very pleased at this point in time, but I'll like just go through it and play with it a little bit. [0:19:23, 0:19:27]: Okay. Um Barber, did you have anything that you wanted to say? [0:19:28, 0:19:38]: No, uh first impression it looks great. I am uh slightly embarrassed that I still don't have my head shot in, so I will That's okay. Find a way to to get you one. Um [0:19:39, 0:19:47]: But yeah, but this looks amazing. Great job, Lincoln and Lisa. And I look forward to getting a more detailed look. But yeah, this looks great. [0:19:48, 0:19:50]: Thank you. [0:19:50, 0:19:57]: Um I know Mildred can't see the website, so we'll make sure that she um since she's on the phone, but we'll send her [0:19:57, 0:20:00]: Um the link so that she can um [0:20:00, 0:20:03]: Peruse the site as well. [0:20:03, 0:20:12]: Yes, ma'am. I care. Can you I can see now because I'm on my desktop. It's just that you all can't see me because I don't have a camera. [0:20:12, 0:20:16]: Oh okay, I'm sorry, I didn't realize that. Did you have any comments? I'm sorry. [0:20:18, 0:20:38]: Uh no no problem. I uh I was very I am very impressed and the fact that you said that you would share it with us for a few days will also help because I was as he was going through it, I was I am looking and to me everything looks polished and clean, but we we know when we look at it closely, if there's any other suggestions, I'll make them [0:20:39, 0:20:40]: Later. [0:20:40, 0:20:42]: Okay. That's all I have to do. Uh [0:20:43, 0:20:46]: All right. Alan, did you have anything that you wanted to say? [0:20:49, 0:20:50]: Is Al in there? Oh, there he is. [0:20:52, 0:20:53]: We can't hear you. You're on mute. [0:20:54, 0:20:57]: Yes, yes, Kara. Yeah, I I just need it looks great to me. [0:20:58, 0:20:58]: Um [0:20:59, 0:21:07]: Thanks, uh, thanks a lot, Mr. Parks. But it it looks really good to me. Uh, I just want to get the link and click around a little bit, but it it looks great. [0:21:09, 0:21:18]: Well, I did, you know, want to get kind of your overall feelings about just first glance, you know, does it look exciting? Does it look vibrant? Does it look engaging? [0:21:19, 0:21:24]: Does it and this is a question to everybody, does it look like something that you would want to scroll through? [0:21:24, 0:21:26]: Upon first glance. [0:21:26, 0:21:31]: It it it does and um it looks is very user friendly. [0:21:31, 0:21:36]: And that's important. I I do want to try it on the desktop as well as my cell phone. [0:21:37, 0:21:41]: Um just to see how it how it does with with the cell phone because that's how most people [0:21:42, 0:21:42]: Um [0:21:43, 0:21:45]: You know, we we'll browse a site like this, but it [0:21:45, 0:21:47]: From the presentation, it looks great. [0:21:47, 0:21:48]: Okay. [0:21:48, 0:21:51]: Barber, I think you were about to say something. [0:21:51, 0:22:00]: Yeah, I was just gonna agree with Mr. Peterson at first glance. It definitely looks fun. Looks like something that I could spend some time scrolling through. It's very engaging. So [0:22:00, 0:22:08]: Um, you for sure met your objectives in in my opinion, just looking at what I could see now in presentation format. [0:22:09, 0:22:10]: Okay. [0:22:11, 0:22:12]: All right. [0:22:12, 0:22:16]: I I just wanted to throw in a couple of tidbits. Um not about [0:22:17, 0:22:20]: Any changes or or observations. [0:22:20, 0:22:27]: Because Lincoln and I will still be hammering away at this. But I definitely wanted to thank Lincoln. Um [0:22:27, 0:22:31]: We've been working on this for a good while. [0:22:31, 0:22:34]: Um, different things have gotten in the way. [0:22:34, 0:22:35]: Um [0:22:35, 0:22:42]: Just not even before the pandemic. So they're just really excited to see it in the flesh now. [0:22:42, 0:22:54]: And um there literally are thousands of photos that still need to be uploaded. All of those are from our different events and you know, um during small business Saturday, the team [0:22:55, 0:23:04]: always sends in pictures of whichever shops they've gone to and things going on around the city. So all of this is going to look like Main Street work. [0:23:05, 0:23:05]: Um [0:23:05, 0:23:10]: I wanted to add that some things have just been put in as placeholders. [0:23:10, 0:23:15]: Uh as we're working on it until we get the the right photos uh nailed down. [0:23:16, 0:23:18]: So because of that, um [0:23:18, 0:23:22]: You might not see as much diversity as I would like to see. [0:23:22, 0:23:25]: Um it it needs to reflect our community. [0:23:25, 0:23:31]: And our community, thankfully, has you know folks from every walk of life. [0:23:32, 0:23:34]: So I want to make sure that we are [0:23:34, 0:23:42]: Putting all of those faces and styles in there. And and all of that will come along as we continue to. [0:23:42, 0:23:46]: tool it a bit more, but it it's almost I mean, it's so much further along. [0:23:47, 0:23:52]: than anything we've done up till now. So I'm very pleased with that. And I I look forward to all your feedback. [0:23:53, 0:23:54]: As suggestions. [0:23:55, 0:23:56]: Yes. [0:23:56, 0:24:16]: And and I second that too. I I'd uh definitely look forward to the feedback and that's and that's what the the the purpose of of all of this is because you know as as you're you're working on it and you're and you're going through it, sometimes your eyes uh miss things and you know it may not be um you know you've been working on for a while. So to have a a fresh uh [0:24:16, 0:24:17]: Uh [0:24:18, 0:24:23]: buys um from you guys on it and just going through it. Um looking at the mobile version. [0:24:27, 0:24:28]: Um and [0:24:29, 0:24:42]: And then just working through it. I I think, you know, adding those uh finishing touches to it uh is is going to make it um what you guys would be definitely proud of. So again, thank you. Thank you for having me on uh today. [0:24:43, 0:24:46]: Thank you, Lincoln. We really appreciate the demo. [0:24:47, 0:24:57]: All right. Thank you. Okay. Well, we'll let you go and we'll continue with our meeting. Thank you again. We'll be in touch with you, Lincoln, with the things that we still owe you. [0:24:57, 0:25:01]: Okay. Thank you guys. Take care. Have a good weekend. All right. Talk to you later. [0:25:02, 0:25:03]: Right. [0:25:03, 0:25:04]: Bye bye. [0:25:06, 0:25:11]: Okay. Um Mr. Hopkins, I'm gonna continue with um my report. [0:25:12, 0:25:17]: Um we're now at the point um of my present of my um report. [0:25:18, 0:25:38]: Where we talk about old business. As far as that is concerned, we have a few housekeeping items. I did want to let everyone know that Ms. Pamela Sanders has resigned from the board. She notified us yesterday that she will be moving her business. [0:25:38, 0:25:44]: To another county. And so she will no longer be eligible to be seated up. [0:25:45, 0:25:47]: excuse me on the Main Street advisory board. [0:25:47, 0:25:52]: Um, because she will be out of the county. So we are going to be looking for [0:25:53, 0:25:55]: A business owner. [0:25:55, 0:25:59]: And she represented a business owner outside of the Main Street district. [0:25:59, 0:26:05]: So if you know of anyone who would be a good candidate, we're going to put the announcement out. [0:26:05, 0:26:08]: Um as soon as possible um to canvas the community for [0:26:09, 0:26:10]: Um [0:26:10, 0:26:13]: For a person to fill that position. [0:26:13, 0:26:22]: But if you know of anyone who would be interested in serving on the Main Street Advisory Board that is a business outside of the Main Street District, please let me know. [0:26:23, 0:26:24]: Um also [0:26:25, 0:26:25]: Um [0:26:26, 0:26:34]: I wanted to make sure that everyone who is registered for the National Main Street Conference has received um. [0:26:34, 0:26:41]: Word from them. They have been sending out emails regarding signing up for workshops. [0:26:41, 0:26:52]: And I personally have not received anything. Lisa has, um, but and Anika has, but I have not. So I'm trying to clear up that clerical error on their part. [0:26:52, 0:27:08]: But if there is anyone else who is registered, please let me know whether or not you are received. Willie, I think you kind of gave a thumbs up that you have received information. I already got a schedule and everything. Okay, fabulous. All right. That's what I wanted to make sure of because I still don't have. [0:27:08, 0:27:10]: Um registration. I mean [0:27:10, 0:27:14]: workshop sign up information yet. So I'm trying to get that cleared up. [0:27:15, 0:27:16]: So um [0:27:16, 0:27:17]: It looks like [0:27:18, 0:27:21]: Oh Mildred, have you received anything? You're one of the registered. [0:27:22, 0:27:23]: Um attendees. [0:27:25, 0:27:29]: I I was trying to send a I was trying to send a chat, but yes, I've received and I've registered. [0:27:29, 0:27:36]: Okay, fabulous. All right. Well I guess I'm the only one who um hasn't received the inform conference information. So [0:27:37, 0:27:38]: Like I said, I'm working on that. [0:27:39, 0:27:45]: And then also I wanted I wish that we had more people here because I needed to [0:27:45, 0:27:50]: Um put this back out to you all. As you all know, we have been trying to schedule [0:27:51, 0:27:52]: A joint [0:27:52, 0:28:01]: Um strategic planning session with the DDA. And this would be considered our annual retreat and strategic planning meeting. [0:28:02, 0:28:05]: Ам, де ви аречьо хост е в яр. [0:28:06, 0:28:06]: And [0:28:07, 0:28:12]: It has been difficult to try to find a uh facilitator who [0:28:12, 0:28:15]: Um, is comfortable doing this type of work. [0:28:16, 0:28:18]: on a virtual platform. [0:28:19, 0:28:20]: Um [0:28:20, 0:28:24]: Everyone that I have spoken with has preferred to be [0:28:24, 0:28:29]: in a in person type setting because of the type of work we do, the the way [0:28:30, 0:28:37]: that they work with charts and um boards and different types of things that require people to [0:28:37, 0:28:40]: kind of collaborate and sit in groups and that sort of thing. [0:28:41, 0:28:44]: Um, it's been difficult to find someone. I have [0:28:45, 0:28:45]: Um [0:28:46, 0:28:49]: A particular facilitator group in mind. [0:28:49, 0:28:54]: And they are also one of the groups that would prefer to do things in person. [0:28:54, 0:28:59]: And I would like to put it back out to everyone um given the fact that [0:28:59, 0:29:03]: Um our covet cases are going down and people are starting to [0:29:04, 0:29:05]: Be inoculated. [0:29:05, 0:29:12]: If we call the meeting down to not more than four hours and have it in a space like [0:29:13, 0:29:20]: the Merrill Mandar Center, which has the capacity for 300 people, but we would just have about twenty people at the most. [0:29:20, 0:29:22]: And we space everyone out. [0:29:23, 0:29:36]: um effectively where we're more than six feet apart, um no one is sharing tables, you know, that sort of thing. Everybody kind of has their individual space. And we would wear masks. We wouldn't necessarily have to have um [0:29:37, 0:29:39]: you know, a big lunch or anything like that. [0:29:40, 0:29:45]: We try to be finished before that time so we wouldn't have to serve food other than, you know. [0:29:45, 0:29:47]: Beverages and that sort of thing. [0:29:47, 0:29:49]: If you all would be willing. [0:29:50, 0:29:52]: to have an in person meeting. [0:29:53, 0:29:55]: Um, let me just hear some feedback on that. [0:29:56, 0:29:58]: Um, Mr. Hopkins, I'll go with you first. [0:29:59, 0:29:59]: All right. [0:29:59, 0:30:06]: I have no problem. I'm fully vaccinated and and so I've had both of my shots and I have no problem with that whatsoever. [0:30:06, 0:30:07]: Okay. [0:30:09, 0:30:10]: All right. Um [0:30:11, 0:30:13]: Clear. I I'm willing to do it in person. [0:30:14, 0:30:16]: Mildred, you're saying yes. [0:30:17, 0:30:20]: Yes, yes, I've had my shots. I'm complete. [0:30:20, 0:30:21]: Okay. [0:30:21, 0:30:22]: Uh Miss Richardson. [0:30:24, 0:30:26]: Sounds like a plan to me. [0:30:26, 0:30:27]: Okay. [0:30:28, 0:30:34]: Um Alan, um since you're on the call and we'll probably be at the meeting, I'll ask you as well. [0:30:35, 0:30:43]: Uh yes, ma'am. I have one more shot to go. I'll get my my second shot on um next week. So I'm I'm good. Yes, ma'am. [0:30:43, 0:30:55]: All right, great. Um I actually have my second shot on April thirtieth, so I'll be complete by the time we want to host this meeting. Um Lisa, do you have a opinion? [0:30:57, 0:31:05]: I do not have any vaccinations right now. Um, but I think in a big space like that, if we are [0:31:05, 0:31:06]: Sanitizing [0:31:07, 0:31:09]: the in the um facility [0:31:09, 0:31:11]: I think we should be okay in there. [0:31:12, 0:31:12]: Okay. [0:31:13, 0:31:32]: Um and I actually have to, you know, get permission. As you all know, the city's buildings and facilities are closed at this time. So it will also be contingent upon getting permission to actually use um the Merrill Manders Conference Center in this capacity. So I'd have to get [0:31:32, 0:31:44]: permission to do that. Um so I will get back to you all. I will also canvas um those who aren't here at this time to see how they feel about it. Lisa, did you have another comment? [0:31:44, 0:31:46]: I had another suggestion. [0:31:46, 0:31:46]: Um [0:31:47, 0:31:50]: Even though I think this might be a good uh plan. [0:31:51, 0:31:51]: Mm. [0:31:51, 0:31:55]: In the event that we are not able to use this particular idea. [0:31:56, 0:31:58]: Perhaps we can bring the facilitators. [0:31:59, 0:32:00]: To [0:32:00, 0:32:01]: City Hall. [0:32:01, 0:32:05]: And we set up the Zoom meeting so that [0:32:05, 0:32:07]: You know, we know how to do it. We can [0:32:08, 0:32:14]: you know, be the camera for them so they can use their boards and their flip charts and present. [0:32:14, 0:32:18]: To the Zoom meeting, I think technology has been an issue for a lot of people. [0:32:19, 0:32:21]: But we might be able to help them. [0:32:21, 0:32:26]: um with the technology so they can present to everyone virtually. [0:32:26, 0:32:28]: Well we'll see because um [0:32:29, 0:32:31]: people that I've talked to have been just kind of like [0:32:31, 0:32:34]: We'd rather not do virtual. So they've kind of [0:32:34, 0:32:35]: Not been doing [0:32:36, 0:32:43]: I mean, that's a good suggestion and we'll see, but they've been just kind of not been facilitating any meetings. So they're just now ramping up. [0:32:44, 0:32:45]: So [0:32:45, 0:32:53]: Spaces are limited and it's just a whole lot going on with regard to this and you know, because of COVID. So if you all are willing to [0:32:53, 0:32:55]: Um at least um [0:32:56, 0:33:01]: entertain that idea of being in person. We still gotta canvas the D DA. [0:33:02, 0:33:09]: and get permission to use the facility. But the date that I would like for everyone to save the date, put on your calendar and pencil. [0:33:09, 0:33:11]: is June the twelfth. [0:33:12, 0:33:14]: That was the date. [0:33:14, 0:33:16]: Um that most people [0:33:17, 0:33:21]: were available um for the um meeting. [0:33:22, 0:33:23]: And that is [0:33:23, 0:33:30]: a result of the survey monkey that everyone um participated in, or at least most of you participated in. [0:33:31, 0:33:35]: Okay, um as far as new business is concerned. [0:33:35, 0:33:49]: We don't um have anything new going on, but I do have um several updates for you all. Um that I Yes, sir. Uh question, what's what's the time frame um that we're looking at for this retreat? [0:33:49, 0:33:52]: Uh, we usually start at nine in the morning. [0:33:52, 0:34:02]: And uh we have gone until two, but like I said, we're gonna try to condense everything down into um just a four-hour period at the most. [0:34:03, 0:34:08]: Okay. Yes, ma'am. So nine to noonish. That way we don't have to, you know. [0:34:09, 0:34:12]: serve open refreshments and, you know, that sort of thing. [0:34:14, 0:34:18]: What was the date once more? June June the twelfth and that is Saturday. [0:34:21, 0:34:29]: And I will get back to everyone as to whether or not that's what we're gonna go with because we might have to just push it a little bit farther. So we'll see. [0:34:30, 0:34:35]: All right. Um as far as the updates are concerned, um we [0:34:35, 0:34:42]: um are still working on the mural and we have um had a meeting and I think that we're very close to [0:34:42, 0:34:42]: Um [0:34:44, 0:34:51]: being ready to move forward with the actual painting of the mural. I'm gonna share my screen. [0:34:52, 0:34:57]: to um show you all the concept that we have um [0:34:58, 0:35:00]: Come up with if [0:35:00, 0:35:01]: Let's see. Wait a minute. [0:35:02, 0:35:03]: Thought I had the [0:35:04, 0:35:05]: File opened, let me [0:35:06, 0:35:07]: Go into my files and [0:35:08, 0:35:09]: Get that open. [0:35:10, 0:35:12]: Okay, now let me try to share it. [0:35:24, 0:35:25]: Okay. [0:35:32, 0:35:43]: Okay, if you all rec will recall, um we did come up with some inspirational words that we wanted to uh make sure that um the mural evoked from [0:35:44, 0:35:45]: The viewer. [0:35:45, 0:35:53]: Um those were um words that we felt would bring um vibrancy and interest and uniqueness to our [0:35:53, 0:35:56]: Mural, our first mural for the downtown area. [0:35:57, 0:36:01]: Uh we as a committee decided on a [0:36:01, 0:36:14]: collage style mural. Um this is an example that was taken from the city of Knoxville, Tennessee. It's very vibrant. It has a lot of color and a lot of stuff going on to let you [0:36:15, 0:36:17]: really feel like you know. [0:36:17, 0:36:20]: Um the city of Knoxville and what it has to offer. [0:36:21, 0:36:35]: Um, we started with um some whimsical themes and even looked at um a historic image, but the um board as a whole and then also the committee agreed that we would reserve [0:36:35, 0:36:51]: a more historic um type mural for the down the center of the downtown area where Martin Luther King Senior Heritage Trail actually um traverses the city. And we felt like that would be a better placement for that type of mural. [0:36:51, 0:36:58]: Um we started out with um this when we kind of went back to the whimsical theme. And if you'll recall the [0:36:59, 0:37:01]: mural is going to be um [0:37:01, 0:37:10]: Placed at the corner of Her Rail and North Henry Boulevard, which is right there at the school, Stockbridge Elementary School. So we really wanted to. [0:37:10, 0:37:13]: um connect with um the [0:37:13, 0:37:17]: the idea of it of children and family and [0:37:18, 0:37:19]: Um the future. [0:37:20, 0:37:22]: So this is where we are now. [0:37:22, 0:37:26]: Um the artist again, this is um just a concept. [0:37:26, 0:37:33]: Um, it'll of course be painted. These are kind of cut and paste pictures that kind of give you an idea of how things will be. [0:37:33, 0:37:34]: situated [0:37:35, 0:37:36]: on the mural but [0:37:36, 0:37:37]: Um [0:37:37, 0:37:40]: It gives you um a feeling of [0:37:40, 0:37:50]: connecting and what happens in the stockbridge bridge community. There's a homage to um history with the train engine and [0:37:51, 0:37:53]: The um Martin Luther King senior. [0:37:53, 0:38:04]: um heritage trail banner that you see in the downtown area. So we do have an homage to our native son, Marth King Sr. [0:38:04, 0:38:05]: Um [0:38:05, 0:38:18]: And then we also have children who are reading, a very diverse group of children who are reading. They're situated below the Little Free Library. [0:38:19, 0:38:39]: Um, also note that our community comes together around two really um prominent aspects that we host as far as events are concerned: the food truck park. So we have a food truck there with people lined up, and then our concert series. And that's also going to be true once our amphitheater. [0:38:39, 0:38:39]: [2320.0, 2333.6]: is open to the public. So we have a singer and some musicians there. And then we have the little boy who um has a very hopeful um and bright continence and he's blowing bubbles to just kind of show [0:38:53, 0:38:55]: That um [0:38:55, 0:38:58]: The city is vibrant and is going to [0:38:59, 0:39:02]: Um have a very prosperous future. [0:39:02, 0:39:10]: So we do have our tagline where community connects, and we have the city of Stockbridge depicted there in the big bubble. [0:39:10, 0:39:11]: And um [0:39:11, 0:39:14]: This is going to um [0:39:15, 0:39:20]: be our first mural. We're gonna have several other murals so you can't get everything in one. [0:39:20, 0:39:25]: But we are looking forward to continuing our public art and mural um project. [0:39:26, 0:39:29]: throughout the city in some different areas. Um [0:39:29, 0:39:32]: Both Willie and Lisa are on the um [0:39:33, 0:39:37]: mural committee so I'm going to allow um [0:39:37, 0:39:38]: them to [0:39:39, 0:39:47]: just give just a few words about the mural and um how they feel about it and then I'll ask um both Alan, Barber and Mildred. [0:39:47, 0:39:49]: Um if they have any comments. [0:39:49, 0:39:51]: Um Mr. Hopkins. [0:39:52, 0:40:06]: Yes, thank you, Madam Director. Uh first and foremost, I want to say this has been a long process for us uh on the committee, but uh with that being said, I think we've uh come up with a mirror that I think is pleasing. [0:40:07, 0:40:27]: to the uh city and to what we are trying to accomplish uh for the first mural for downtown. Uh the concept was the actual playground, the parks, I'm sorry, park uh background with a lot of diversity there. We try to touch on uh some of the things that um that's historical [0:40:27, 0:40:47]: in in the city, uh, some of the things that that uh that impact the city, some of the things that bring us together as a community. And uh I think we did an outstanding job uh in reference, trying to bring diversity as well to the city as well. So uh like Kira said this is not we can't put everything [0:40:47, 0:41:07]: on the first mural so therefore we went with the thing we thought was uh very inspirational impactful and exciting for our first mirror based on where it's going to be located at uh right there in front of the school right across from city hall so uh i i I wanted to thank uh kira lisa uh and everybody on the committee [0:41:07, 0:41:27]: For, you know, and being honest as we went through this process to get where we are. And I think is it's gonna be uh very uh pleasing and uh to the to the uh citizens of Stockbridge. So I'm very pleased with this uh final piece. And I'm and and we got some other things that we're gonna change. [0:41:27, 0:41:37]: up in there but this is the the the item that will be in the mirror so but i i like it i'm praying that you guys like it and i'm praying that everybody in the city like it so [0:41:38, 0:41:41]: Yes. Okay, Lisa, did you want to add anything? [0:41:46, 0:42:06]: I agree with everything Willie said. Um, and I just wanted everyone to keep in mind that obviously this is a concept. This is not the painting itself. Um, Mr. John Christian is the artist. He's done lots of other cities, including Hateville, and his work is really wonderful. Um, it's vibrant. [0:42:06, 0:42:07]: And and um [0:42:09, 0:42:15]: It very engaging. So I'm I'm really looking forward to this one representing our community. [0:42:15, 0:42:23]: And I think we've worked really hard as a committee to get the right elements in here, knowing that we can't put everything in. [0:42:23, 0:42:28]: Um, but we wanted to make a good message at one in one shot. [0:42:29, 0:42:29]: Yeah. [0:42:30, 0:42:35]: Okay, um Mildred, I'll ask you, do you have any comment about the mural? [0:42:36, 0:42:39]: Do you like it? I guess that's the question I wanna ask. Do you like it? [0:42:41, 0:42:44]: Uh I was trying to get the meeting on. Yes, I like the concept. [0:42:45, 0:42:50]: Uh I know that this is not a file on as far as the layout and all that you're gonna insert. [0:42:50, 0:42:53]: with the people'cause we're still talking about diversity. [0:42:53, 0:42:54]: So I would like to see [0:42:55, 0:42:56]: The um [0:42:56, 0:43:00]: structure the diversity structure changed just a little bit on a couple of the pitches. [0:43:00, 0:43:05]: But otherwise I like the overall idea of and the concept. [0:43:06, 0:43:09]: Which is much better than what we talked about in the very beginning. [0:43:09, 0:43:10]: Yes. [0:43:10, 0:43:13]: Okay. Barber, did you have anything? [0:43:14, 0:43:18]: I like it. Okay, good. That's all I need to know. [0:43:20, 0:43:20]: Okay. [0:43:21, 0:43:22]: That's what we want to hear. [0:43:23, 0:43:28]: Okay. Alan, did you have anything that you wanted to add or comment? [0:43:28, 0:43:34]: I I think it's wonderful. I like um I I really like this concept. So I I I really like it. [0:43:35, 0:43:39]: Good. Thank you. All right. So that is um [0:43:39, 0:43:51]: our mural and we're looking forward to you know getting that underway and we've got a deadline of June thirtieth so our artist has a a lot of work to do. [0:43:51, 0:43:59]: In that time period. Um, next, I would like to give you all an update on the amphitheater that was um [0:43:59, 0:44:02]: Provided by Mr. Knighton. Um [0:44:03, 0:44:05]: So I'm gonna share that with you all. [0:44:05, 0:44:06]: Um [0:44:08, 0:44:13]: The um amphitheater progress has um can you all see my screen? [0:44:14, 0:44:18]: Okay, good. All right. Um with regard to the amphitheater. [0:44:19, 0:44:20]: Um they [0:44:21, 0:44:23]: Oh wait a minute, shoot. [0:44:24, 0:44:25]: How did that happen? [0:44:25, 0:44:26]: Wait, let me see. [0:44:30, 0:44:31]: I don't know how I it went to the other. [0:44:37, 0:44:40]: Okay, let me see. What did I do wrong? [0:44:45, 0:44:45]: Okay. [0:44:51, 0:44:52]: All right, there we go. [0:44:55, 0:45:10]: Okay, the amphitheater um update, they are installing handrails. Um, they have installed the stairs and elevated walkway, which is kind of like a catwalk over to the green room, and they've installed all of the digital signage. [0:45:10, 0:45:15]: The green room they have installed the canopy roof. [0:45:15, 0:45:20]: All of the exterior stairs, they're finishing out the bathrooms. [0:45:20, 0:45:27]: And um they're gonna be doing the final cleaning. The architect has been through I think all of the buildings at this point. [0:45:27, 0:45:36]: and have done their punch list. Um so a lot of things are just waiting for a final cleaning. The um concession stands um have all been [0:45:37, 0:45:40]: completed. They have all the equipment and everything. [0:45:40, 0:45:45]: Um the ticket and wheel call, they're still doing some uh work on that particular [0:45:46, 0:45:47]: Um structure [0:45:48, 0:45:58]: And um also the restrooms, the main restrooms, they are also um now installing all of the fixtures and just the final cleaning has to be done. [0:45:58, 0:46:01]: Um ліса and I were able to tour. [0:46:01, 0:46:20]: The facility a few weeks ago, and um it is absolutely awesome. This is a um photo of the entire campus so you can kind of see how everything is coming together. Just to point out a few things. This is the um natural area that they're gonna have with the walking um trees. [0:46:20, 0:46:27]: Trail. There'll be ponds and water features and there's gonna be an overlook at this area here. [0:46:27, 0:46:30]: That will look down into this particular um [0:46:31, 0:46:35]: little valley if you will where the ponds and the walking trails will be. [0:46:35, 0:46:39]: Um this is the back of the house where the trailers and um [0:46:40, 0:46:50]: The entertainment bringing in sound equipment and all of that will be coming in through this access that they'll have from either Lee Street or from East Atlanta Road. [0:46:51, 0:46:53]: So there'll be two ways to get into the back area. [0:46:54, 0:46:58]: This is the stage, of course, the outdoor seating. [0:46:58, 0:47:08]: And then this is the catwalk structure that I was kind of mentioning that they were finishing the hand railings for that goes over to the green room. This particular building. [0:47:09, 0:47:13]: is the green room and VIP um patio. [0:47:14, 0:47:19]: Um it has restrooms and then a very nice um area for [0:47:19, 0:47:22]: people to um talent and um [0:47:22, 0:47:27]: Other people associated with the events happening there to have um [0:47:27, 0:47:28]: space to [0:47:28, 0:47:29]: Um [0:47:29, 0:47:38]: Stretch out, they have showers, they have dressing rooms, and all of that in that area. And these are the two concession stands. [0:47:39, 0:47:48]: That are there. And then this is the I'm sorry, these two are the concession stands, and this is the ticket in office in the middle there. Um [0:47:49, 0:47:59]: This is a picture of what the concession stand looks like. They're identical on both sides. They have an east and west concession stand. [0:48:00, 0:48:09]: And then this is looking down at the performance space and you see the um grass um tiered seating and then the stationary seating. [0:48:09, 0:48:11]: Um that is available. [0:48:12, 0:48:17]: And then this is inside the green room just to give you all a little shot of what it looks like. [0:48:17, 0:48:20]: On the inside they have um [0:48:20, 0:48:22]: A full um [0:48:22, 0:48:25]: kind of kitchen area that has microwaves and [0:48:26, 0:48:30]: dishwashers and um refrigerators there. [0:48:30, 0:48:37]: So any talent that would come in would be able to have those amenities available to them. But it it's really [0:48:38, 0:48:40]: Sharp looking inside there. [0:48:40, 0:48:44]: And that's all that I have on the update for the amphitheater. [0:48:45, 0:48:47]: Um, with regard to [0:48:48, 0:48:50]: В даунтон Векме Центр. [0:48:50, 0:49:05]: The um Main Street staff has been meeting with TSW architects to make sure that um the facility is going to have all of the things that we need to function as a Main Street program and also to [0:49:05, 0:49:09]: Um have the building serve as a a true community asset. [0:49:09, 0:49:15]: and catalyst for downtown. So we're working on that. And I think that we're gonna be settling on a final design. [0:49:15, 0:49:17]: Probably next week. [0:49:17, 0:49:23]: Um one fourteen MLK, um which is the building that we are remodeling. [0:49:23, 0:49:29]: Um the engineers came in I think a week ago to assess the building. [0:49:29, 0:49:30]: For um [0:49:31, 0:49:36]: the roof structure and then also um what type of um if any [0:49:37, 0:49:41]: Um hazardous materials were there as far as asbestos and that sort of thing. So they did [0:49:42, 0:49:50]: Um go in and um check that. So we're supposed to be getting a report from them. I thought I would have had it by now, it hasn't come in yet. [0:49:50, 0:50:00]: Um, so once we get that, I think that they're gonna be ready to start preparing the bid documents so that the building's um the work for the building can be bidded out. [0:50:01, 0:50:06]: And the alleyway project, um I thought I'd have an update, um a better update for you all. [0:50:07, 0:50:11]: However, Mr. Knighton s um sent me an email two days ago that [0:50:11, 0:50:17]: Um he is still waiting for I'm sorry, not Mr. Knight and um Mr. Aaron, who is our [0:50:18, 0:50:18]: Um [0:50:19, 0:50:23]: Public works director said that he is expecting some designs from um the [0:50:24, 0:50:25]: Falcon Design Group. [0:50:26, 0:50:33]: with regard to um plans for that as well. So I'm apologize, I don't know, have better update for the alleyway project, but [0:50:33, 0:50:38]: Uh, we're still waiting to hear from our consultants and design group there. [0:50:39, 0:50:40]: Okay. [0:50:40, 0:50:45]: And um Mr. Vice Chair, I think that that is going to come [0:50:45, 0:50:46]: Complete my report. [0:50:47, 0:50:49]: All right, thank you, Madam Director. [0:50:50, 0:50:58]: Uh next on the agenda is our DDA report, and that will be uh bringing forward by Ms. Barber Richardson, if she has a report. [0:51:11, 0:51:13]: Barber, you're muted. I don't know if you realize that. [0:51:17, 0:51:18]: Ms. Richardson, can you hear us? [0:51:20, 0:51:24]: She is having um she got booted out. She might be trying to get back in. [0:51:25, 0:51:27]: I'm trying to type her the um [0:51:28, 0:51:30]: The call in ID just in case. [0:51:31, 0:51:32]: Uh uh mute though. [0:51:34, 0:51:38]: Yeah, let me see. I can see her. Why should she on me? [0:51:39, 0:51:40]: Barber. [0:51:43, 0:51:44]: I wonder if she could [0:51:46, 0:51:48]: Oh, chic, I see. [0:51:49, 0:51:53]: Can y'all hear me? Now we can hear you. I can't hear y'all. [0:51:53, 0:51:58]: Oh no. I have no no volume in my computer. It just went out. [0:51:58, 0:52:03]: Oh no. Are you is it my turn for an update? Yes, ma'am. Okay. [0:52:04, 0:52:15]: I'm so sorry, y'all. Jesus. Um basically the I just have two updates. We finally closed on the Sobane transaction effective uh the seventh. What was that, Wednesday? [0:52:16, 0:52:16]: So [0:52:17, 0:52:20]: That deal is finally done. Um [0:52:21, 0:52:30]: And the other thing is we have our monthly meeting coming up on Tuesday at six PM. As always, when I get the link, I will send it out when [0:52:30, 0:52:33]: I'll remember to send it out. Um [0:52:33, 0:52:33]: But [0:52:34, 0:52:40]: Those are the only two updates I have so far. Oh, I hear I hear something. Someone say something. Oh, thank you. [0:52:40, 0:52:53]: Yay. Welcome back. It just I I just noticed it said my internet was unstable and then I couldn't hear any volume and then I couldn't get out of the screen to go get the phone. Anyway, I'm back. Okay, good. [0:52:53, 0:52:55]: Yeah, so [0:52:55, 0:52:58]: The the transaction is done and then we have our uh [0:52:59, 0:53:00]: monthly meeting coming up. So [0:53:01, 0:53:01]: Okay. [0:53:02, 0:53:10]: Thank you, Ms. Richard. And Miss Rich, can you can cause every time I try to I I try to attend you guys me, but I can never get in for some reason. I don't know. Uh, do anyone have any announcements and concerns at this time? I don't have any. [0:53:35, 0:53:38]: Uh that I know of. Uh Madam Director, do you have any? [0:53:39, 0:53:53]: I was just gonna um wish Councilman Thomas a happy birthday. Today is his birthday. So if you're able to reach out to him, you can send him a shout out. Anybody want to do that? Um and that's all that I had as far as um announcements. [0:53:54, 0:53:56]: Okay. Anything from you, Lisa? [0:53:57, 0:53:58]: Happy spring. [0:54:00, 0:54:20]: No, that's right. Um, but the the the thing uh I'll make this announcement. We're very proud of it and Lincoln has worked very hard and Lisa has, I mean, just really worked hard on it. So [0:55:42, 0:55:53]: Um, I would appreciate any feedback that you all can give us because we want to be able to launch it um to everyone else so that they can see what we've been up to. [0:55:55, 0:56:04]: All right. If uh uh all hearts and minds are clear, uh just remember our next meeting will be Friday, May the 14th at nine o'clock.
