That was in 2019. Since then I sued Susan Clowdus & HCPD for False arrest, during the pandemic, while they built the amphitheater. For those who do or don’t know the story. There are many videos of retaliation over this amphitheater business. All of which were ignored by Attorney Zack Greenamyre.
It was a mystery to me for a while. Why would something so deeply connected to Eagle’s Landing & Brian Strickland, who wrote the EL cityhood bill we sued over, who then was defending Clowdus, while at the same time being registered agent for the excavation company 60′ from my back door. All ignored by my legal team. I was only told “Stockbridge is complicated.”
I’m skipping many years to bring you to what’s happening now. My lawyer worked with the Stockbridge city attorney on Nikema Williams’ “false arrest.” I don’t know the outcome of her case, nor do I care. What’s important is you know about all the free parties she threw in Atlanta. “Tailgate parties,” etc. etc. We had a second law firm, filed about nuisance noise, and then they sent a terse “goodbye” letter and that’s where I gave up on lawyers. I’d really hoped the noise would be contained so I wouldn’t have to publish this.
Of course, that is how campaigning goes. But as we’ve all noticed the heavy “free show” nature of the last election. It was so prominent a Trump quote, “dance party with Beyonce,” became a huge meme. As meme’s go now days. There was lavish spending at levels not seen before on the Atlanta campaign trail. And there is a massive $6.8 million hole in Stockbridge 2024 budget.
Both endeavours involve Stockbridge City Attorney, Quinton Washington. But to the best of my knowledge (with a document to prove it) Washington & Dreyer handle amphitheater business & Nikema Williams. While Bell & Washington is the actual Stockbridge City Attorney. IMO, it’s a flimsy “Chinese wall” which is a technical barrier to make all this seem legitimate.
I’ve thought about writing about this long form. I have a draft. But no one reads anymore. This post is made mostly for the purposes of illustrating to all VyStar at The Bridge, Stockbridge Amphitheater customers what future shows will look like.
I no longer get as passionate about it. But my only plan for a modicum of respect from the city anymore is to sit and read the redevelopment plan that will take my house away. Bryant and Lee St residents are still set to lose their homes. When the TAD was voted in there was alot of speech about eminent domain not having support. If you read the plan carefully, you’ll see the language never mentions eminent domain. E.D. would be able to bulldoze Hwy. 75 thru Eagle’s Landing. This plan calls our homes blight, then they can be abated because they’re a nuisance.
All the documents are in the ORR Dump. I won’t be writing or talking about this publicly. Only at the amphitheater shows, loud and in person.
After all the time that’s passed. They disrespected my Mother this past May 11, Mother’s Day. Then on “Stormy Monday,” as I call it, May 12. After ~24 hours of noise over 3 days. She went to the council meeting and spoke out. The PIO edited 6 minutes of I and my mother’s comments out of the meeting.
Thank you to everyone who helped produce parts of the “un-official Amphitheater business archive.” This site should be up for another 20 years. Perhaps I’ll write again in another 6.
“A man’s at odds to know his mind cause his mind is aught he has to know it with. He can know his heart, but he dont want to. Rightly so. Best not to look in there. It aint the heart of a creature that is bound in the way that God has set for it. You can find meanness in the least of creatures, but when God made man the devil was at his elbow. A creature that can do anything. Make a machine. And a machine to make the machine. And evil that can run itself a thousand years, no need to tend it.” – Cormac McCarthy, Blood Meridian, Blood Meridian, or, the Evening Redness in the West
My other lawyer from that firm did what I asked. I want that person to know I appreciate it. מזמור שיר
