And I sent that to everyone today. [0:02:11, 0:02:16]: Um so I'll go ahead and make a motion to approve uh the May seventeenth meeting minutes. [0:02:18, 0:02:19]: Our second. [0:02:19, 0:02:20]: Thank you, Bob. [0:02:22, 0:02:23]: Any discussion? [0:02:25, 0:02:30]: All right, please raise your hand to approve last month's May 17th meeting minutes. [0:02:32, 0:02:52]: All right, that looks to be unanimous. Thank you, everyone. All right, we'll get to the uh the main items. So uh officers and city staff reports. Uh just a few items I'd like to start off with. Um I wanna uh I think everyone should be aware on the DDA board that the city of Stockbridge is uh in the middle of a um [0:02:52, 0:03:12]: Uh Stockbridge Park Systems Master Plan. There's a link I'm going to go ahead and put in the chat for everyone. I encourage everyone to be familiar with the effort. They've engaged uh TSW as the uh firm who is gathering input from the [0:03:12, 0:03:32]: uh community and uh helping to design you know it's a 10-year plan for the city of stockbridge it's not limited to just the downtown area i'm participating as in the steering committee and our next meeting hasn't been they haven't announced the date yet uh but uh if you look at this link there's a lot of information as far as the uh [0:03:32, 0:03:44]: ideas that have been gathered so far and uh public um opinion is very much welcome. So I encourage you and uh others within the community to uh participate on that. [0:03:45, 0:03:55]: Um next item I want to touch on is the uh recorded documents clarifying the Sylvain property uh boundary. Uh so this was the um [0:03:55, 0:04:13]: purchase and sale agreement that was uh completed by the DEA to a um a party called Sylvain uh for the uh property in in this in the downtown district. There was a property dispute. All that paperwork's been um filed and that item I believe is closed. [0:04:15, 0:04:30]: Next item I want to touch on is uh Frangela Merritt's onboard and training. So I want to make sure we're we're set up. So I see you have your DDA email. Let me let me check in with Frang if uh are you able to send and receive via the DDA email? I know the account's been set up. [0:04:31, 0:04:36]: So I I have not um tried yet. I can't confirm it at this time. [0:04:36, 0:04:39]: I I definitely need some guidance on how to access it. [0:04:40, 0:04:41]: Honestly. [0:04:41, 0:04:42]: Okay. [0:04:44, 0:04:50]: All right. And you'll need uh like username and password. Um I imagine that. [0:04:51, 0:05:01]: has been sent to you in some way. Um I I wouldn't be able to help with that. It would need to come from the city's IT department. Okay. But I can [0:05:02, 0:05:03]: Thank you, Vanessa. [0:05:03, 0:05:04]: Thank you. [0:05:07, 0:05:27]: And feel free to uh friend, if you wanna, you know, once you do get access, if you wanna send me a test email and then maybe follow it up with a text to my, you know, my mobile phone, just say, Hey, can you confirm you got it? And we can just confirm, send and proceed to make sure. Cause that you really should be using the DDA email for all the official DDA correspondence. [0:05:27, 0:05:31]: If you use your personal devices or personal email, it can cause [0:05:32, 0:05:38]: that other channel to be discoverable if if there's ever a dispute of some sort. Okay, understood. [0:05:39, 0:05:55]: All right, and the next item I just wanted to touch on before I turn it over to Barber for the treasurer's report is um uh Vanessa, I wanted to check with you. We do have a vacant uh board position. I wanted to see if you if any applications have been received to fill that vacancy. [0:05:56, 0:06:01]: I do not have any applications yet, but I did receive an inquiry today. [0:06:02, 0:06:11]: So um we have not officially received anything yet, but an inquiry did come through today. So maybe we'll have someone on digital meeting. [0:06:11, 0:06:13]: um appointed. [0:06:13, 0:06:33]: All right. Thank you for that. And I would extend that to all of you all here in this meeting to um please, you know, reach out to your um to your associates, business partners, uh community members who have an interest in serving uh the city. I think it's a great opportunity to serve on this board and be part of [0:06:33, 0:06:53]: uh you know what's next for our city of stockbridge. So um especially you know folks that might have um experience in real estate development, um the banking, financing, funding options, those are always good qualities for a DEA membership. [0:06:53, 0:06:54]: We must [0:06:55, 0:06:57]: Either own a business. [0:06:57, 0:07:10]: um within the downtown district or they must be uh home uh you know must own property within the greater uh city of stockbridge as far as a criteria for serving on the board. [0:07:10, 0:07:19]: So um and there's an application on the city's website. If you have any trouble or we need to find it, uh don't hesitate to come to me or Vanessa, we'll be glad to. [0:07:19, 0:07:21]: point you or that individual in the right direction. [0:07:22, 0:07:27]: Roger, one one clarification, owner or operator. [0:07:27, 0:07:30]: Of a business. Owner or operator. Okay. Thank you. [0:07:31, 0:07:32]: Appreciate that clarification. [0:07:34, 0:07:41]: All right, and that is all those are all the updates I have. Any questions or comments on any of any of the items I covered. [0:07:44, 0:07:47]: All right, seeing none, we'll move to the next item, Barber. [0:07:51, 0:07:55]: I think you just sent me the treasurer's report. Did you want me to bring it up or did you want to share it? [0:07:57, 0:07:58]: And you're on mute. [0:08:01, 0:08:06]: Yeah, if you can bring it up, that'll be great. Thank you. Okay, give it just a minute and I'll have it ready. [0:08:35, 0:08:36]: It's coming up. [0:08:37, 0:08:37]: Okay. [0:08:38, 0:08:39]: Oh. [0:08:40, 0:08:43]: Well, maybe it's not. Hold on a second. I'm trying to put away. [0:09:00, 0:09:02]: Well, he's pulling it up. I can um [0:09:03, 0:09:05]: I'm having trouble opening it in Excel. [0:09:06, 0:09:13]: Oh this prompting me from my Windows password so I didn't have access to share it's um [0:09:13, 0:09:14]: Oh, let me get let me straighten that out. [0:09:15, 0:09:15]: Okay. [0:09:18, 0:09:18]: Mm. [0:09:44, 0:09:47]: I'm gonna make you the host for a minute. I don't I don't think that'll [0:09:48, 0:09:49]: That should do it. [0:09:49, 0:09:50]: Oh [0:09:52, 0:09:53]: Exactly. [0:09:53, 0:09:54]: Work for you now. [0:09:54, 0:09:56]: Okay, it does. Um [0:09:57, 0:09:58]: Can you all confirm? [0:09:59, 0:10:04]: That you see my screen. Someone confirmed, please. Yes. Okay, awesome. [0:10:04, 0:10:18]: Uh well for the month of May, um we only had one transaction and that was our annual Zoom fee. It's$589.90. Um no revenues for the month of May. So total net loss for May. [0:10:18, 0:10:19]: Uh [0:10:19, 0:10:33]: $589.90, which uh so far year to date, we still have a net profit, if you will, of forty-four thousand two hundred and seventy dollars and ten cents. [0:10:35, 0:10:39]: Any questions about May income and expenses? [0:10:40, 0:10:43]: All right, we'll go to the balance sheet, look at our cash on hand. [0:10:44, 0:10:53]: Uh as of May 31st, cash on hand for the facade grant$119,357 and 15 cents. [0:10:54, 0:10:55]: The operating account. [0:10:56, 0:11:08]: $58,919.08 for total cash on hand at the end of the month,$178,276.23. [0:11:09, 0:11:09]: Okay. [0:11:10, 0:11:11]: Um [0:11:12, 0:11:24]: We have a change in our cash from prior month of$589.90. Again, that just represents the annual Zoom fee that we uh pay each year. And [0:11:27, 0:11:30]: We do have a few upcoming expenses. Actually, I need to update this because I [0:11:31, 0:11:33]: Just saw my inbox that we have um [0:11:34, 0:11:48]: legal fee that I think we're gonna discuss tonight. I think it's on the agenda. We have an invoice from our attorney plus our ongoing monthly Zoom fee, as well as some training uh fee. We do have training. I'm attending DDA training on Friday in Savannah. [0:11:48, 0:12:03]: Um and so there's gonna be expenses for that. And then I think several of us are going to the DDA training in August in Macon and there'll be additional expenses for that coming up. Um, but by more no means anything that's gonna break the budget. [0:12:04, 0:12:05]: Any questions? [0:12:10, 0:12:14]: Any questions? Okay, that concludes my report. [0:12:15, 0:12:19]: Okay. Did you want to go ahead and talk about the uh training expenses? [0:12:20, 0:12:29]: So Vanessa, can I get you to chime in here a little bit with your expertise? We're not quite sure how. [0:12:30, 0:12:32]: Reimbursements for travel. [0:12:32, 0:12:33]: Um [0:12:34, 0:12:48]: how that works. Do we so for example, say like I'm driving to Savannah, is that you know IRS stated mileage reimbursement rate or is it a different governmental rate? Do you have any idea? [0:12:48, 0:12:57]: Okay. And um it is reimbursable. [0:12:59, 0:13:00]: The Nessie faded out. [0:13:01, 0:13:02]: Oh my god. [0:13:02, 0:13:03]: Can you hear me now? [0:13:03, 0:13:08]: No, you s I can barely hear you. It's far away. Oh, let me get closer. [0:13:09, 0:13:09]: How about now? [0:13:12, 0:13:13]: You still not hear me? [0:13:14, 0:13:16]: Uh it's a little better now. [0:13:17, 0:13:17]: Okay. [0:13:18, 0:13:20]: Sounds like your microphone may not be close. [0:13:20, 0:13:25]: Let me um let me check the volume. Hold on one second. [0:13:26, 0:13:27]: Took it to a hundred. [0:13:29, 0:13:30]: I can hear you. [0:13:31, 0:13:32]: I think we can make it. Go ahead. [0:13:33, 0:13:37]: It'll probably work better if my picture is on. There you go. [0:13:39, 0:13:42]: But no, it's reimbursable after um travel. [0:13:44, 0:13:56]: But what we typically do uh on the on the travel is we go ahead, we make a reservations, we submit it to finance, and what uh finance will do is submit. [0:13:57, 0:14:10]: to the DDA to reimburse. Okay. That's typically how it's how it's done. If you want to change that, because I know that you all have a credit card now, you have checks. So if you want to change that, just let us know. But that's currently how it's being processed. [0:14:11, 0:14:13]: I think that's fine. Um [0:14:13, 0:14:17]: For me,'cause I know sometimes you guys have rates that I can't see. So [0:14:18, 0:14:23]: If you're okay with keeping it that way, if if the rest of the board is okay with it, that works for me. [0:14:24, 0:14:42]: Yeah. We tip we typically do the only thing that I would request is that you come in and get your paperwork signed because we do have to have signed documents before we can submit it to finance. So we need those documents signed. So when we let you know that you've been registered, we need [0:14:42, 0:14:44]: You're fading away again, Vanessa. [0:14:44, 0:15:04]: Okay, so can you hear me now? Yes. Okay. You should see how I'm having to look to do oh no. Um but all I was saying was that once we say that you're registered, we just need you to come into City Hall and sign your documents because we have to submit signed documents to [0:15:04, 0:15:05]: To finance. [0:15:06, 0:15:13]: Or is that the cause I did I came in to um submit the W9? Are there additional forms? [0:15:14, 0:15:34]: And beyond that, they just need to they need to the W9 is to set up for you to have a per diem. Right. So yes, we do need to have that on file. You know, you just only have to do that one time. Okay. But going forward, then we need to have you sign the tax exempt certificate for lodging. Okay. And so it's [0:15:34, 0:15:36]: per um registration. [0:15:37, 0:15:39]: But the W Nine is a one time thing. [0:15:39, 0:15:40]: Got it. [0:15:40, 0:15:41]: Oh. [0:15:41, 0:15:42]: Got it. [0:15:42, 0:15:43]: Okay. [0:15:43, 0:15:44]: I'll be there tomorrow. [0:15:45, 0:15:46]: Okay, thank you. [0:15:49, 0:15:56]: And I don't know exactly, you know, we were trying to register individuals for the DDA training, and I don't know if it's come back out again. [0:15:57, 0:16:17]: Um, I know that uh Barber, you were able to go because a seat opened up uh for a class that previously had been filled, but the one in in Macon, she told us on the last email, if I'm not mistaken, that they were not sure where where the location was going to be. Oh yeah. In Macon. So they had not decided on that yet. They do know that they'll they will be. [0:16:17, 0:16:23]: be having it, they were looking for the location and trying to finalize that. But as soon as we know, I will let you all know. [0:16:23, 0:16:23]: Okay. [0:16:24, 0:16:25]: Thank you. Okay. [0:16:25, 0:16:25]: Thank you. [0:16:26, 0:16:29]: And are there any other board members uh [0:16:29, 0:16:36]: Fran, you'll need to be attend, that'll be your class to attend. That is a basic DDA training in Macon, correct? [0:16:37, 0:16:41]: It's both basic and advanced. It's both. They offer basic and advanced. [0:16:41, 0:16:48]: Okay, so that the France definitely on that will need to be be there assuming that date and time works for you. Um [0:16:48, 0:16:52]: Is there are there any other board members that are interested in [0:16:52, 0:16:57]: uh either retaking the basic or or or retaking the advanced training. [0:16:58, 0:17:00]: That's Barber, all right. [0:17:02, 0:17:06]: All right, so we'll we'll plan for Barber and and and Fran. [0:17:06, 0:17:09]: for the August training and making. All right. [0:17:11, 0:17:11]: All right. [0:17:12, 0:17:26]: Thank you all for doing that. And and Bob, I th while we're on the topic of training, I think you uh uh you either are about to or completed the train the training that would the that was offered uh by the uh our attorney, uh Dan McRae. [0:17:27, 0:17:43]: Yes, the the first day was this morning from eight to twelve thirty, and then the second session is uh tomorrow morning from eight to noon. Uh very good. We had um a presentation from the Georgia uh Alfie Meeks, who I believe is with the Georgia Department of Community Affairs. [0:17:44, 0:17:49]: And also from uh another good very good presentation about the various financing and loan programs. [0:17:50, 0:17:52]: uh small business loan programs. [0:17:53, 0:17:57]: And then there was also a a very impressive presentation from [0:17:57, 0:17:58]: The [0:17:58, 0:18:02]: Wanna make sure that the Newton Walton County joint [0:18:02, 0:18:04]: D DA um [0:18:05, 0:18:05]: Forty. [0:18:06, 0:18:11]: And he he talked about really it was a multi year project they had of basically building [0:18:12, 0:18:17]: a uh an industrial park from scratch and they got a major pharmaceutical company, Baxter. [0:18:18, 0:18:20]: um to uh to locate there. [0:18:21, 0:18:21]: Um [0:18:22, 0:18:27]: brought in I think like fifteen hundred jobs and and uh you know a lot of economic development. They also [0:18:28, 0:18:28]: Um [0:18:29, 0:18:32]: The they're getting um a rivian, which is an electric [0:18:32, 0:18:33]: So [0:18:33, 0:18:35]: Electric vehicle company. [0:18:35, 0:18:37]: Is coming there as well. [0:18:37, 0:18:39]: Uh and uh [0:18:40, 0:18:44]: They do a lot of environmental stuff, so they're they're tied in, I think, with a solar farm down in [0:18:45, 0:18:49]: Backslee, Georgia. So it was it was a very impressive presentation. It's like, wow. [0:18:50, 0:18:51]: Um [0:18:51, 0:18:54]: And it was it was, you know, sometimes I I get a little [0:18:54, 0:18:58]: Little discouraged, but I mean it was a multi year project, but I mean [0:18:58, 0:19:02]: Well, he kind of, you know, laid it all out and it took a lot of effort and [0:19:03, 0:19:05]: cooperation between the various counties, but uh [0:19:06, 0:19:06]: Um [0:19:07, 0:19:08]: They got it done. [0:19:08, 0:19:10]: So yeah, very impressive training. [0:19:12, 0:19:30]: Yeah, I agree. I I was impressed by that as well. And that was like a tri-county, or I think it might even be four counties that that come joined forces for a development authority, not a downtown development authority, but a development authority to um to to realize that vision of the industrial park. It's impressive work. [0:19:31, 0:19:45]: Um all right. Uh so uh while and I guess before we leave the financial, um uh I'm gonna reclaim host so I can share the uh screen. Let me bring this up and I'll bring up the invoice. [0:19:46, 0:19:47]: Um [0:19:48, 0:19:51]: That was sent to us from our attorney. So um [0:19:53, 0:19:55]: This is uh there's been several [0:19:56, 0:20:00]: Here we go. Let me get this going and then I'll discuss it. [0:20:01, 0:20:05]: All right, if someone could confirm you can see the screen, please. [0:20:08, 0:20:28]: Yes, yes. All right, great. So this is the uh a combined uh uh uh invoice from our attorney for various work, um working on the intergovernmental agreement and then revisions to it. Um the Sylvain property. [0:20:28, 0:20:34]: Disclarification, boundary clarification did spawn. [0:20:34, 0:20:43]: a if you will a side project trying to figure out the true name, legal name of the TDA. And so that's what this portion is. [0:20:43, 0:21:00]: um more revisions to the intergovernmental agreement and then um more information on the uh name search and then just basic reviewing emails and iga i've been the one mostly in contact with our attorney and i find this to be you know a reasonable [0:21:01, 0:21:07]: uh summary of the uh of the work that I I was aware of so I can validate that this is um [0:21:07, 0:21:09]: You know, this is aligned with what we [0:21:10, 0:21:11]: The work that was done. [0:21:11, 0:21:23]: Um so I I think just to so there's no dispute, you know, uh let's uh I I would ask that we make a motion to I'd like to make a motion to approve this invoice for payment. [0:21:32, 0:21:39]: I'm sorry. So moved. All right. Thank you, Bob. Any discussions or questions on the invoice? [0:21:44, 0:21:52]: All right, seeing none, hearing none, all those in favor of approving the invoice for three thousand eight hundred and forty-seven dollars and fifty cents from our attorney. [0:21:52, 0:22:03]: All right, I see everyone's hand. Very good. All right. I don't see Councilman Alexander's hand, so I don't know if you were in favor or not, or if uh not seeing your screen, sir. [0:22:05, 0:22:08]: Yes, can you hear me? Yes, yes. [0:22:10, 0:22:11]: Yes, I'm in favor. [0:22:11, 0:22:14]: Oh the the affirmative, so you're okay with that as well. [0:22:16, 0:22:18]: Yes, yes. All right. Very good. Thank you. [0:22:19, 0:22:28]: So I'll stop sharing there and then that brings us to the next item on our agenda to uh secretary update. So Bob, do you have anything for the group? [0:22:31, 0:22:32]: Uh no, no. [0:22:33, 0:22:33]: All right. [0:22:34, 0:22:42]: And you know, I do want to ask you, do you want to keep this as an item a standing item on the agenda? Um I mean it's fine that we do, I just you know. [0:22:43, 0:22:43]: Well, well. [0:22:44, 0:22:45]: Uh [0:22:47, 0:22:55]: I'm I'm fine with that. Like I said, you know, if if I had anything I'd certainly bring it to the board, but uh, you know, I I have no problem with keeping it sustained out of it. [0:22:55, 0:23:04]: All right, sounds good. That brings us to the next item, the Main Street Advisory Board Updates. So um Barber, I'll go to you first and then if you want to turn it over to Kira. [0:23:05, 0:23:09]: Uh yeah, I'm gonna pass it to Kira. I had was traveling on our last meeting. [0:23:09, 0:23:10]: All right, very good. [0:23:12, 0:23:16]: Hello everyone. Good afternoon. I guess good evening now. [0:23:17, 0:23:37]: Um, I just have a few items um to provide you with an update on. Um, the Main Street staff recently attended the National Main Street Conference in uh Richmond, Virginia. Uh, we were asked to sit on a panel of experts who have been um successful with their small business Saturday promotions, um, the Stockbridge Main Street. [0:23:37, 0:23:57]: Main Street was program was selected as a second place winner in the Small Business Saturday Neighborhood Champion Innovation Contest, which is a national contest, and we won second place. So we're really excited about that. This national competition looked at Main Street programs across the country. [0:23:57, 0:24:17]: To determine best practices and innovative community engagement efforts that these programs are doing in reference to their Small Business Saturday efforts. If you all recall, may recall, last year for Small Business Saturday, we actually expanded the program to be a monthly. [0:24:17, 0:24:21]: month-long um endeavor called the small business blitz. [0:24:21, 0:24:41]: Um, we got a lot of very positive feedback and participation with that particular um change in our programming. And so we're going to continue with that this year. And that that change was actually made um based on feedback that we received from participants, um, shoppers, diners, people who [0:24:41, 0:25:01]: were actually doing the shopping during that time and from our merchants who were participating in the program as well. So we made that change. The change was very positive. And people feel that it's a lot easier to support this particular effort when they have more time. [0:25:01, 0:25:21]: To get around to the different businesses that are participating. Because we do this kind of citywide, unlike in a place where everyone is located on a town square or and you have businesses located in a in one central location, it's a little easier to do that in one centre. [0:25:21, 0:25:38]: One day as opposed to having multiple days where you can shop and dine and support our local businesses. So that was one change that we made. And we actually won a little bit of prize money. So we are going to be$2,500. We're going to be investing that. [0:25:39, 0:25:59]: back into our um small business saturday effort and we are looking into getting our passport um made into a digital um version of the passport um just trying to make it even easier um less effort for our um community support to support the [0:25:59, 0:26:06]: this small business effort. So we're looking forward to that. Our committee, the Small Business Saturday, [0:26:06, 0:26:17]: Planning committee has started meeting already and they are planning. So if anyone on the DDA is interested in being a part of that committee, we welcome you. [0:26:18, 0:26:27]: Um if if you're interested, just let um Main Street program coordinator Lisa Fareed know. Um you can send her an email. [0:26:27, 0:26:47]: Her email address is L for Reed and that's spelled F-A-R-E-E-D at City of Stockbridge-G A dot G-O-V. And she will put you on the committee list and you'll start receiving the invitations to come and participate with that. We need all hands on deck. So if anyone is interested. [0:26:47, 0:27:05]: please let us know. And you all mentioned training about DDA training, but I also wanted to mention that the Georgia Downtown Conference in their pre-conference session and Macon Georgia, they'll be hosting Main Street 101 training. [0:27:05, 0:27:07]: On august the twenty second. [0:27:08, 0:27:28]: And so that is also a training that I encourage everyone who is in uh involved with downtown development to also take that training as well if you can put it in your schedules. And that is going to be on August the 22nd from one to five in Macon, Georgia. And as um Ms. High. [0:27:28, 0:27:48]: Holiday mentioned they're still trying to confirm the location for that session as well. So as soon as I know where that location is going to be, I will let you know. And then also just the conference itself. I think several members who are seated on the DDA now have attended the Georgia Downtown Conference. [0:27:47, 0:28:07]: And I encourage you all to, if you can put it in your schedule to attend this conference, because it is definitely a way for you to connect with other DDAs and Main Street programs across the state and just see the types of things that they are doing, how they're making some of these developments. [0:28:07, 0:28:22]: development projects work, how they are stacking funding opportunities and loan opportunities and grant opportunities to make these projects work. So it is always a great opportunity to be able to [0:28:23, 0:28:27]: meet some of these folks and talk to them and see these projects firsthand. [0:28:27, 0:28:47]: And then also there is going to be a downtown renaissance class that's going to be offered during the pre-conference session. It's a lot like what we did during our process for the RSVP program planning program. They kind of talk about that program and some of the things that they do. [0:28:47, 0:28:52]: So that is another session that they're offering in the pre-conference as well. [0:28:53, 0:29:04]: Um so that's all I have with regard to the training. I did want to give you all a little update on the Ted Strickland building. It is moving along. Um [0:29:04, 0:29:08]: If I can share my screen, I might be able to access my [0:29:09, 0:29:12]: presentation that I gave at the Main Street. [0:29:12, 0:29:19]: meeting that we held earlier this month. Roger, am I able to share my screen at all? I think I just found the [0:29:20, 0:29:29]: the um control to allow it without having to make you boast. So go ahead and try it. Okay. I'm not sure if okay, let's see. [0:29:30, 0:29:32]: If it'll work. Yep. It looks like it's coming. [0:29:32, 0:29:35]: Okay, great. All right. Let me see if I can. [0:29:38, 0:29:57]: Okay, that's not the beginning. Let's start from the beginning. Okay. Um, again, this was the presentation that I shared with the Main Street um advisory board earlier this month. This is the Ted Strickland Community Center. So you all are familiar with that particular building in the downtown area. [0:29:58, 0:29:58]: Um it [0:29:59, 0:30:10]: This is the former floor plan. It's just an open space that had, you know, restrooms, a little storage area, and a kitchen and utility closet. [0:30:11, 0:30:21]: Uh we are going to be expanding this open space that many of you have been in and know that it's just kind of really four walls. [0:30:22, 0:30:24]: To include um [0:30:24, 0:30:27]: A lobby with a reception area. [0:30:27, 0:30:35]: A conference room, which is going to be very nice, four office spaces, the break room. [0:30:36, 0:30:46]: and work area and an intern desk will be located in that particular space, some additional storage space, and then a coat closet. [0:30:47, 0:30:48]: Um [0:30:49, 0:30:58]: This was the framing. We were able to come in and do a site visit and just kind of see how the space was going to be built out. [0:30:59, 0:31:04]: And um this is these are the offices. [0:31:06, 0:31:15]: Um, they were putting in the insulation and drywall um at the time I took these photos um two weeks ago. So they're [0:31:15, 0:31:17]: A little farther along the walls are actually [0:31:18, 0:31:19]: All up now. [0:31:19, 0:31:26]: Um, this is kind of a view of the where the conference room area is going to be, and there is going to be a glass wall. [0:31:27, 0:31:30]: that um can um expand and contract [0:31:31, 0:31:38]: here so that you can close this um room off or it can be open to increase the lobby area. [0:31:38, 0:31:45]: Our interior design is going to be very open, very well lit, very inviting. [0:31:46, 0:31:46]: And modern. [0:31:48, 0:32:03]: This kind of gives you a feel of the types of color. We're going to use the colors from the Stockbridge logo and use furniture that is very forward thinking and has a very forward and modern presentation. [0:32:04, 0:32:06]: And um that's about it. [0:32:09, 0:32:21]: So we're looking forward to getting into the space. When I talked with our contractor, they are thinking that we should be able to occupy the space in September. [0:32:21, 0:32:28]: As long as we don't have any um supply chain delays or any other um [0:32:28, 0:32:35]: you know, delay unexpected complications that might be caused by um the um [0:32:35, 0:32:48]: resources that we need as far as materials and building materials. But so far they have been able to move pretty swiftly and haven't had that many delays. The project hasn't been as impacted as we thought it might. [0:32:49, 0:32:53]: And that's all that I have to report with regard to. [0:32:54, 0:32:58]: um the Ted Strickland and then just one other um [0:32:59, 0:33:19]: Update would be that we're going to go back to hosting our Main Street movies. Um, our committee decided to, our board decided to go on with two movies since we hadn't had one in two years now. Um, that'll be July 15th and August 21st are the dates that we are looking to host. [0:33:19, 0:33:32]: These two features. The movie licensing is now in process, so we'll announce which movies we're going to show once that process has been completed and the licenses have been secured. [0:33:33, 0:33:44]: Our next meeting will be July 8th at 9 a.m. and it will be via Zoom. So all of you are welcome to attend if you would like to see what the Main Street Advisory Board is talking about. [0:33:45, 0:33:47]: And that concludes my report. [0:33:49, 0:33:52]: Thank you, Kira. Any questions for Kira? [0:33:52, 0:33:53]: Sure. [0:33:54, 0:33:54]: Go ahead, councilman. [0:33:55, 0:34:02]: Uh thank you, Cura, for your presentation. Uh it was enlightening and it's good to see that the movies are coming back. [0:34:02, 0:34:08]: So now we understand that the camp the campus has been revised. So what's gonna be the new setup? [0:34:09, 0:34:29]: uh for the movie night. Is it gonna be in the amphitheater or on the campus? Um we are looking to again host um the um movies on the lawn area. The families like to come and spread out blankets and um put out their lawn chairs. Um the uh we host games. [0:34:29, 0:34:49]: During the pre-show in anticipation of the movie. And we just felt that it would be a lot safer for kids running and playing to be in the grassy area. We did kind of look at the amphitheater as a place for a possible movie showing, but we would not be able [0:34:48, 0:35:01]: to do some of the activities that we usually host prior to the movie. So we felt that keeping it on the lawn would be our best bet with regard to the movie. [0:35:02, 0:35:02]: Um [0:35:03, 0:35:15]: And we'll see how it works out with the first one if we feel that it's cramped because the space is just a little bit smaller than it was in previous years. If we feel that it is too cramped. [0:35:15, 0:35:34]: or is not going to be conducive for the second movie. We will change the location with that location probably being in Clark Park because again, we want to keep that kind of feel where kids can run, play, and enjoy being seated on the grass if they would like to be. [0:35:35, 0:35:38]: Okay, I know previously you did like an adult. [0:35:38, 0:35:58]: Light as well. So both of these are for the kids or what the what might they be an adult night? Um these we had planned for them to both be for children. Oh, I keep going in and out. I don't know why that. Okay. Um we had um anticipated these would both be children's movies because we hadn't hosted them in such a long time. Um we have thought about making [0:35:58, 0:36:03]: Maybe doing a a date night, which was what we did that time when we had the [0:36:03, 0:36:05]: Um, you know, a PG type movie. [0:36:06, 0:36:06]: Um that [0:36:07, 0:36:10]: Not a cartoon. Um we hosted a date night. [0:36:10, 0:36:30]: um several years ago and that was very successful. We thought about maybe doing that in the fall. It just depends on how these two movies go since we're kind of are gonna be kind of new to our space. Now that's been reduced a little bit. So we'll see how it goes and if that's something that the public is interested in. [0:36:30, 0:36:34]: and we see that it is doable, we might bring that um [0:36:35, 0:36:36]: Date night back as well. [0:36:37, 0:36:40]: Uh good, good you know, I would certainly like to keep you somewhere in the downtown. [0:36:41, 0:36:43]: Right there next to City Hall'cause it's uh [0:36:43, 0:36:53]: So the visibility folks saw it and some people just would come in just to see uh what was going on with that. And the one other thing I wanted to ask you about is [0:36:54, 0:36:56]: uh uh potential partnership [0:36:57, 0:37:05]: I've seen a lot of cities do what's the night market that seems to be super successful where they're doing that. Um [0:37:06, 0:37:14]: uh at night uh with some uh you know uh gathering uh of amongst uh the residents for a night market. Have you seen that? [0:37:15, 0:37:35]: Yes, I've actually attended a night market. So I know exactly what you are talking about. And um we have not um, I guess, considered having it, but it's something that um I can of course pos to my board and see if that's something that they might be interested in. Um we could of [0:37:35, 0:37:48]: course host it on Martin Luther King Senior Heritage Trail, close off each end of the street, invite vendors to come in, some entertainment, that sort of thing. So that's something that I can definitely pose to [0:37:49, 0:37:53]: our board, you know that we always do a downtown meet and greet. [0:37:53, 0:38:13]: And it's been two years since we've had a meet and greet. And we were saying that this year, because we would have the um new welcome center, DDA offices, Main Street offices in the Ted Strickland, that we wanted to have um kind of an indoor-outdoor type celebration. So um we have done an [0:38:13, 0:38:17]: arts um market um with a past [0:38:17, 0:38:17]: Um [0:38:18, 0:38:26]: meet and downtown meet and greet and that was successful. So a night market would just be a little bit more of an expanded um [0:38:26, 0:38:42]: type situation where you know you'd have vendors as opposed to just our artists and arts vendors. So that's something that I can definitely pose to our advisory board because we've done something very similar before and um it was very successful. [0:38:42, 0:38:47]: Yeah, that's why I wanted to uh talk about it as a partnership because as you said. [0:38:47, 0:38:50]: It is expanded so there would be increased work. [0:38:50, 0:39:00]: uh a joint partnership between the DDA and the Main Street to actually pull this off uh with you know some funding from both sides. [0:39:00, 0:39:02]: uh to add to it and then [0:39:02, 0:39:05]: Of course, bringing in additional dollars with the with the uh [0:39:05, 0:39:07]: With the vendor, so [0:39:07, 0:39:09]: Uh I think this board should [0:39:09, 0:39:13]: Like to know what this board thinks about it and then maybe we could [0:39:13, 0:39:16]: have some type of collaborative meeting to see what we can work out. [0:39:18, 0:39:19]: Ladies and gentlemen, your thoughts? [0:39:22, 0:39:42]: I'm not that familiar with the um go go ahead. Uh I was gonna say I'm not that familiar with the um with the concept. It sounds like it's uh like a programmed um market. I mean where you would just set up vendors leave almost like farmers market, but not necessarily um focused on food, but more so [0:39:42, 0:39:47]: So uh goods and things like that. And so yeah, I I think it would be great to [0:39:48, 0:39:50]: I like the idea that it'd be at night and it's a little bit more [0:39:51, 0:40:07]: Especially if there's programming involved with some sort of a music back background or something like that, that um it's a good good idea. I would I would say consider it more uh closer to the fall time frame, like September or later, so that it's not uh quite so hot. Right. [0:40:10, 0:40:11]: I would definitely [0:40:12, 0:40:13]: Go ahead. [0:40:14, 0:40:16]: The night market that I did attend, you know. [0:40:19, 0:40:39]: You went on mute, Mark. I'm sorry. I don't know why it's go doing it by itself. But anyway, um the night market that I attended, um, you know, it didn't have a big huge stage. It was just, you know, kind of a a small little trio kind of playing music in the background while people shopped. Um, they had, you know, cider vendors, um, clothing vendors. [0:40:39, 0:40:52]: artists. Right. You know, it's it's kind of a small scale, more intimate type market. And it's usually hosted in like an alleyway type situation or closing off a street. [0:40:53, 0:40:54]: And um [0:40:54, 0:40:55]: Definitely doable. [0:40:56, 0:40:58]: Yeah, I just want to bring some life. [0:40:59, 0:41:01]: into the heart of downtown where [0:41:01, 0:41:04]: I like what you said when you close the street off. [0:41:05, 0:41:08]: You know, we bring life right there to that entity. [0:41:08, 0:41:10]: Where other folks can imagine [0:41:11, 0:41:15]: What might pa these some of these vendors might imagine opening up a storefront? [0:41:15, 0:41:16]: And just a [0:41:16, 0:41:19]: Bring that idea out there. I just like to see us do that. [0:41:19, 0:41:22]: You know, maybe even more than one time just to just [0:41:22, 0:41:24]: That becomes something that we regularly do. [0:41:25, 0:41:25]: To just [0:41:25, 0:41:26]: Uh bring some [0:41:27, 0:41:29]: Some new light to that area. [0:41:29, 0:41:34]: And just because a lot of times we spend time over by city hall, we don't really do much. [0:41:34, 0:41:36]: Uh right there along that strip. [0:41:36, 0:41:39]: Miss Richardson, I haven't heard you say anything over there. [0:41:40, 0:41:40]: Mm-hmm. [0:41:41, 0:41:42]: Go ahead, Paul. [0:41:42, 0:41:45]: I said I thought it was a great idea. Um [0:41:46, 0:41:52]: Obviously I haven't participated in one, but what I'm thinking of conceptually just, you know, sounds like it'll be a great idea. [0:41:53, 0:41:53]: Um [0:41:54, 0:41:58]: A great opportunity to partner as well, you know, both organizations. [0:41:58, 0:42:01]: And I do agree, we can use a little bit of life. Um [0:42:01, 0:42:14]: outside of Food Truck Tuesdays and we you know, we have the concerts, those are great things. But yeah, that'd be nice to start making downtown some sort of place where we can expect, you know, to be able to come and and have a little bit of fun. [0:42:15, 0:42:16]: Absolutely. [0:42:17, 0:42:20]: And and and I agree, yeah, I I think it's a great idea. [0:42:21, 0:42:23]: I'd I'd be happy to help with stuff like that. [0:42:25, 0:42:26]: All right. [0:42:26, 0:42:28]: Anything else, uh councilman? [0:42:29, 0:42:40]: No, that's all the questions. Thank you, Karen. All right. Anyone else have questions? Army, your hand's still up if you haven't. I I just wanted to make sure I had the dates. Um July 15th and what was that August date for the movie? [0:42:41, 0:42:48]: Here August August the twenty fifth. Twenty fifth. Okay. I'm sorry, twenty first, twenty first. Just the fifteenth and the twenty first. [0:42:49, 0:42:54]: Um this when does school is that'cause twenty first is a Sunday. Is that hold on? [0:42:55, 0:42:56]: Let me see. Let me confirm. [0:42:57, 0:42:58]: So Sunday night? [0:42:59, 0:43:06]: Wait a minute, I'm telling letting you the wrong date. I wrote down the wrong date. Okay. I'm sorry, movie night is August 19th. [0:43:06, 0:43:12]: August nineteenth, okay. And July fifteenth. Where did that come the twenty first from? I don't know where they came from. [0:43:12, 0:43:15]: So please make that correction. I'm sorry. [0:43:15, 0:43:19]: It's the fifteenth and the nineteenth, the third Fridays in the month. [0:43:20, 0:43:23]: We've always tried to kind of host them on the third Fridays. [0:43:26, 0:43:33]: All right, anything else for the uh Main Street updates? Well, we didn't get Miss Merritt's uh input. [0:43:33, 0:43:35]: Come on, speak up. [0:43:38, 0:43:39]: And I mean [0:43:39, 0:43:53]: Thank you. I have done myself. Well, you know, I didn't have much. Um, but just to say I I just I definitely agree with what everyone else on the panel was saying. So I didn't didn't want to sound redundant. That's all. Um, I think it is a great idea. [0:43:57, 0:44:05]: Thank you. All right. Well, with that, I think we're ready to move on to the next item on the agenda, which is the facade grant update. [0:44:05, 0:44:21]: Bob, Barber and I spoke a little bit earlier today. I I do want to mention to you, I'll probably need your help with uh at least um uh you know, I want to make another attempt at closing out uh Mr. Fletcher's uh uh uh grant. Um [0:44:21, 0:44:41]: uh the application. So um Barber and I have actually we didn't mention it, but Barber and I have uh uh we need to make a trip to the bank to do the legal name change over at Truist. And uh time permitting, we're gonna stop by uh Mr. Fletcher's off uh you know business and see if we can clarify what's needed in order for us to close out that process. [0:44:41, 0:45:01]: particular uh item. And so Bob, I'm mentioning it to you because it will probably involve assuming that they they're uh they're able to provide receipts for the uh the work that was done, uh, we will need to do a site inspection to confirm that you know the work was done, was paid for [0:45:01, 0:45:08]: board and we can validate that it was done and then we can bring it back to the board to get final approval to close off that particular item. [0:45:09, 0:45:10]: Okay, sure. [0:45:11, 0:45:15]: All right, and that's all I have on that. Do you have any other items on the facade grant? [0:45:16, 0:45:17]: Discussion up. [0:45:19, 0:45:19]: Uh no. [0:45:20, 0:45:22]: Okay. Anyone else any questions? [0:45:23, 0:45:30]: Comments. All right. So that brings us to city staff updates. Alan Peterson, you've been quite [0:45:30, 0:45:50]: Quiet and patient. But you have the floor now. All right. Good evening, everyone. Um, a few updates for you regarding the logo. Uh Roger and I are working with the city to receive some clarification on the new logo. And uh actually, we're going to meet with the city hopefully soon just to figure out um if we can use a variation of [0:45:50, 0:46:10]: The city's logo, just so that we uh differentiate ourselves, but at the same time, people know that we're associated with the city of Stockbridge. Um, as far as the LCI plan is concerned, we had a meeting regarding the LCI plan about a week and a half to weeks ago, and I'm going to speak with Mr. Gardner tomorrow just to receive further clarification on what the city. [0:46:10, 0:46:14]: [2774.9, 2786.4]: Uh I was I wasn't in course in the meeting and uh Roger was there, Mr. Gardner was there, uh we had Alan Durham and Emily from Georgia Tech, and we also had Bill from TSW. [0:46:26, 0:46:38]: Uh regarding the Downtown Development Authority, IGA, I sent an email to our attorney for a follow-up um asking if any edits were needed. And if no edits are needed, I wanted to get that on the [0:46:38, 0:46:41]: Uh next possible [0:46:41, 0:46:42]: City Council agenda. [0:46:43, 0:46:56]: Regarding 114 MLK, we have uh appraisals being done on multiple city properties, and 114 MLK is one of those properties. We should have that appraisal by the end of the month, and that appraisal will help. [0:46:56, 0:46:57]: Um help us. [0:46:58, 0:47:00]: Uh, with our next steps regarding that property. [0:47:03, 0:47:23]: All right. Thank thank you for that. Let me add a just a point of clarification to the uh LCI um discussion. Uh the the the city is interested in um um it uh it there's I I don't know too much of the detail around this, but as I understand it, um a livable [0:47:23, 0:47:43]: Centers Livable Cities initiative um allows for a city plan will allow for grant opportunities from the uh um Atlanta Regional Commission, I believe. Yes, ARC. The ARC. And uh the the reason that's being brought up in the context of the DDA meeting. [0:47:43, 0:48:03]: Is that as most of you all know that we have currently we've engaged a firm TSW for a master plan for the downtown district. An LCI approved plan can is is parallel to the type of a master. It's it's it's in essence another form of a master plan, but the scope may be for the city. [0:48:03, 0:48:23]: The idea there is that we could potentially leverage one plan for the other, meaning that we could expand the scope of the downtown master plan to make it compliant with the LCI initiative and that may serve both purposes. So we're going to get clarification on what the [0:48:23, 0:48:30]: city is needing. And then that'll give us a decision point to either proceed with the downtown master plan as um [0:48:30, 0:48:36]: as scoped or um or another option uh depending on what the city is needing. [0:48:38, 0:48:43]: All right, any other questions or comments regarding um city staff updates? [0:48:47, 0:48:58]: Do we have I uh you you mentioned um Alan the one fourteen MLK. Do you do you do we have are we far enough along to project a date and what I guess or or even what the um [0:48:59, 0:49:15]: what the result will be. I mean, I think the what I've heard most about that space is that it would be uh white boxed and potentially deeded over to the DDA to uh lease. Is that still the uh going forward expectation? [0:49:15, 0:49:20]: Uh well we don't know right now. We're we're waiting on the appraisal and once we get that appraisal. [0:49:21, 0:49:26]: Um we'll take that to council and we'll we'll discuss uh with council in executive session. [0:49:27, 0:49:28]: Since it is dealing with real estate. [0:49:29, 0:49:30]: All right. [0:49:31, 0:49:32]: Okay, sir. [0:49:33, 0:49:34]: Go ahead, uh, councillor. [0:49:35, 0:49:51]: Okay, in terms of the city and the LCI plan, we've had certainly have the LCI plan um that was approved by the Atlanta Ridge Regional Commission. That's how the amphitheater was uh born. It was in LCI plan B. [0:49:51, 0:49:58]: That the council approved in 2014. So there is an approved LCI plan that's out there. That's how we're [0:49:58, 0:50:00]: Executing uh what we've been able to do. [0:50:01, 0:50:03]: Uh so for a course they allow you to be able to [0:50:04, 0:50:07]: uh tweak the plan, but pretty much they had um [0:50:07, 0:50:10]: We have been working with them and we had actually received. [0:50:11, 0:50:19]: uh some grants. Uh one of those was a I think it was a hundred thousand dollar grants uh for connected trail activity. [0:50:19, 0:50:20]: Uh, that we received. [0:50:21, 0:50:24]: uh concerning uh the L CI play and so [0:50:24, 0:50:27]: You know, when people look at us and they say, Well, what are you guys doing? I what [0:50:28, 0:50:42]: The amphitheater wasn't just born. It was done born out of the detail that the Atlanta Regional Commission did where they put together the plan that would they sanction for us to be able to execute and redevelop the downtown area. [0:50:46, 0:50:54]: Thank you for those added notes. Any other any other comments or points on the uh city council or on the city staff updates? [0:50:56, 0:51:00]: All right, that brings us to um city council, councilman Alexander. [0:51:03, 0:51:07]: Yes, sir. You know, things are really moving in the city today. [0:51:07, 0:51:10]: Bob, thank you for coming out to the sip and see. [0:51:10, 0:51:15]: It was magnificent, you know, to just see so many citizens come out. [0:51:15, 0:51:19]: Yeah, was anybody else there that I might have missed? Uh no Bob was there. [0:51:20, 0:51:24]: Okay, certainly Miss Holliday was there, yes, I'm sorry. Yes, and uh [0:51:24, 0:51:34]: Uh we certainly want to make sure that we engage the citizens and that they give an opportunity. You know, we never really had an opportunity where we can invite the citizens in. [0:51:34, 0:51:35]: For open house. [0:51:36, 0:51:39]: And this was an opportunity where no ticket was necessary. [0:51:39, 0:51:41]: You could just come in and enjoy. [0:51:42, 0:51:44]: And everybody had a really great time. [0:51:45, 0:51:46]: Enjoying sipping. [0:51:47, 0:51:56]: And enjoying beverages, and then there were prizes and giveaway, and most importantly, they got to enjoy their facility. [0:51:56, 0:51:59]: Free of charge without purchasing a ticket. [0:51:59, 0:52:01]: And that's the same thing that we're doing. [0:52:01, 0:52:03]: On July the fourth. [0:52:03, 0:52:06]: Some major concert. I don't know if you guys knew about it. [0:52:06, 0:52:08]: But there is a major concert. We [0:52:09, 0:52:11]: Yeah, one of the things that uh [0:52:11, 0:52:20]: I I looked at the past couple of years was that if you think about it, there really isn't anybody that's claimed July 4th on the South Side. [0:52:20, 0:52:21]: Where do you go? [0:52:21, 0:52:24]: In South Metro for July the fourth. [0:52:24, 0:52:28]: So uh the council had that will last year. We finally got it. [0:52:29, 0:52:33]: Uh to move forward. I suggested it a couple of times, but we had the votes. [0:52:33, 0:52:37]: in order to do that. So on this July fourth. [0:52:37, 0:52:43]: We're gonna have a major concert with food trucks, uh, arts and crafts vendors and [0:52:43, 0:52:46]: Just a ho a major fireworks show. [0:52:46, 0:52:49]: uh at the end uh of the concert series [0:52:50, 0:52:54]: We'll have uh Sal Gonzalez from the voice. We'll have [0:52:54, 0:52:56]: The Daz band and will have confunction. [0:52:57, 0:53:09]: uh as the headliners and the old school folks, we know about confunction, right? And so we know about uh the great music that they put a put a for. But what we expect is a truly [0:53:09, 0:53:11]: Family friendly. [0:53:11, 0:53:12]: Free event. [0:53:12, 0:53:18]: So if you haven't got tickets, you can go on eventbrite.com. It is a ticketed event, even though it's [0:53:18, 0:53:18]: Free. [0:53:19, 0:53:21]: You have to garner a ticket in order to [0:53:21, 0:53:26]: gain admission because we know as soon as we put it out there, everybody's gonna want to show up because there's really no [0:53:27, 0:53:28]: Other event in [0:53:28, 0:53:30]: comparison to it on this side of town. [0:53:31, 0:53:34]: Uh, for that type of concert, unless you want to go downtown. [0:53:34, 0:53:36]: And then the extensive fireworks show. [0:53:37, 0:53:38]: I think we'll follow it. [0:53:38, 0:53:42]: Will be absolutely amazing for us to be able to do that. [0:53:42, 0:53:53]: right here uh in our own community. And this uh will be a yearly event going forward where we claim July 4th to be Stockbridge is the place to be. [0:53:53, 0:53:54]: On the south side. [0:53:55, 0:53:58]: In Metro Atlanta each and every July fourth. [0:53:58, 0:53:59]: So [0:53:59, 0:54:03]: This event is going to be a signature event for the city. [0:54:03, 0:54:06]: As we continue to move forward with drawing people. [0:54:06, 0:54:08]: Into downtown. [0:54:08, 0:54:10]: And let me say it again, if I haven't said it. [0:54:10, 0:54:14]: Each and everything that we do is not about the fireworks. [0:54:14, 0:54:16]: It's really not about the concert and confunction. [0:54:17, 0:54:19]: It's about economic development. [0:54:20, 0:54:30]: hoping that we spark that thing that says to somebody, this is where I ought to open my business at. And Bob, in my speech today, what did I talk about? [0:54:32, 0:54:33]: Economic development. [0:54:34, 0:54:35]: Absolutely. Absolutely. [0:54:36, 0:54:51]: Absolutely. At every opportunity, that's what we're charged with doing because we're taking on some, you know, when you have vision, vision costs. And in order for us to be able to do the things and sustain the city at a very high level. [0:54:51, 0:54:55]: In order to pay for those projects, we must have economic development. [0:54:56, 0:54:57]: Without economic development. [0:54:58, 0:55:01]: You know, those projects cause, you know, the bonds will come due. [0:55:02, 0:55:10]: And then uh the costs will be need to be absorbed in the uh general fund budget. So we have to pay for these costs in order to move these projects. [0:55:11, 0:55:13]: And continue to move projects along. [0:55:13, 0:55:18]: Uh, like the Cultural Arts Center, which is coming next. Council Mayor Pro Tem was talking about that today. [0:55:18, 0:55:20]: Uh featuring uh three hundred. [0:55:20, 0:55:22]: Sleep auditorium. [0:55:22, 0:55:26]: Балрум від триhроб. [0:55:26, 0:55:29]: And then a museum to capture the history. [0:55:29, 0:55:33]: Uh, the Daddy King family Daddy King and his family here in Stalbridge. [0:55:33, 0:55:36]: Because we talk about the history of Stockbridge so much, but [0:55:36, 0:55:39]: Where where is it that that you can go to see it? [0:55:39, 0:55:41]: Experience it. [0:55:41, 0:55:43]: That's what the new cultural art center is for. [0:55:43, 0:55:50]: And then we talked about today the total investment of a hundred million dollars coming into the area with the STEM school. [0:55:51, 0:55:53]: Uh Roger mentioned the parts plan. [0:55:53, 0:55:56]: The parts plan is something else that we wanted to do. [0:55:56, 0:55:57]: In order to [0:55:57, 0:56:00]: Uh it it it started out at a council meeting. [0:56:00, 0:56:03]: Well we invited TSW to talk about [0:56:03, 0:56:06]: on some of their plans and they haven't they were on the call. [0:56:06, 0:56:07]: And [0:56:07, 0:56:10]: We we were talking about connecting the parts. [0:56:10, 0:56:11]: With the trail system. [0:56:11, 0:56:16]: And that's what uh the T splas would do. We have the funding in place to pay for. [0:56:16, 0:56:19]: The Atlanta Belt line type trail system. [0:56:19, 0:56:21]: uh where connectivity will be [0:56:21, 0:56:23]: uh you know, our goal. [0:56:23, 0:56:26]: And I want you to see the vision of where we're trying to go, right? [0:56:27, 0:56:31]: Now, Rock Cory Row is on the fast track to be widened. [0:56:31, 0:56:33]: Okay, finally. [0:56:34, 0:56:36]: Critical public safety, you know. [0:56:36, 0:56:55]: But when you when somebody's having a heart attack or something, they can't afford to be stuck in traffic uh on this two-lane road. So Rock Oirry Road is a priority project for the county. The county put 27 million on their T-SPLOST. We put 4 million in our T-SPLOST for the project for a total of 31 million. [0:56:55, 0:56:59]: And then we're seeking additional funding through the infrastructure bill. [0:56:59, 0:57:01]: uh and funding that were actually used. [0:57:02, 0:57:07]: I want you to imagine this now Eagles Landing Park from all the way from Eagles Landing Parkway. [0:57:08, 0:57:11]: All the way to highway forty two to the downtown area. [0:57:11, 0:57:14]: There will be a four lane highway, divided highway. [0:57:14, 0:57:23]: There'll be a ten foot multi-use path on one side. I just confirmed that the other day with the county. And there'll be a five foot sidewalk on one side. So [0:57:24, 0:57:28]: You can walk safely on one side and then on the other side you can ride your bike. [0:57:28, 0:57:30]: And even take your golf cart. [0:57:30, 0:57:35]: from Eagles Landing Parkway or the country club in their area all the way to the amphitheater. [0:57:36, 0:57:38]: We want to be able to open that corridor up so that [0:57:39, 0:57:40]: When people come to it. [0:57:40, 0:57:45]: that they can access downtown. We want to make it inviting for them to get to downtown. [0:57:45, 0:57:48]: uh in in uh be able to enjoy [0:57:48, 0:57:51]: What we all already know that it's a great area to be in. [0:57:51, 0:57:54]: So that is the the the the the the plan. [0:57:54, 0:57:57]: And then as a matter of fact, we just started. [0:57:58, 0:58:06]: Some initial meetings, and this is a nugget uh of uh ex as TSW is charged with. [0:58:06, 0:58:12]: developing a s a master parks plan, we entered talks with the hospital. [0:58:12, 0:58:14]: About building a South Stock Bridge Park. [0:58:15, 0:58:18]: uh in the Eagles landing area on the hospital campus. [0:58:18, 0:58:21]: They're they're on board and excited about it, so [0:58:21, 0:58:24]: The initial talks we believe will go somewhere. [0:58:24, 0:58:32]: So we expect to have a really nice park uh in that area to connect to, not just uh in the central area. [0:58:32, 0:58:35]: uh of the downtown so there'll be parks all over the city. [0:58:35, 0:58:41]: in every corner of it to be able to make sure that uh everybody is able to access a part. [0:58:41, 0:58:47]: Uh and and I I I want you to think about this. I hear people say this all the time. I know I've wandered off a little bit. [0:58:48, 0:58:51]: But the Eagles Landing Monument where it is, right? [0:58:51, 0:58:54]: The Eagles Landing Monument is the perfect trailhead. [0:58:55, 0:58:56]: Isn't it? It's beautiful. [0:58:56, 0:58:57]: Right. [0:58:57, 0:59:04]: It has a bike rock already there, water access. So along that trail area to be able to connect to that. [0:59:04, 0:59:08]: Uh as you as those residents come to a concert. [0:59:08, 0:59:10]: Uh in downtown Stockbridge. [0:59:10, 0:59:13]: Yeah, or they come to Merrill Manders for a particular event. [0:59:14, 0:59:16]: They won't even have to get in their car. [0:59:16, 0:59:18]: And what we want to be able to do is attract [0:59:18, 0:59:20]: That level of uh [0:59:20, 0:59:22]: That income level where [0:59:23, 0:59:25]: Envision this where they come to downtown. [0:59:26, 0:59:31]: They park at the amphitheater. There's an electric car charger and those car charging stations are coming. [0:59:32, 0:59:34]: To the amphitheater where they can charge their car. [0:59:34, 0:59:39]: walk the entire downtown campus and when they finish come back and their cars fully charged. [0:59:40, 0:59:44]: So all of that works together to draw that population. [0:59:44, 0:59:50]: uh into downtown and then to look at it as a situation where we're adding [0:59:50, 0:59:51]: uh you know він [0:59:52, 0:59:54]: Environmentally friendly. [0:59:54, 0:59:56]: At the same time by encouraging [0:59:56, 1:00:00]: individuals and that's the one thing that we did with the police department too. [1:00:00, 1:00:02]: The police department vehicles. [1:00:02, 1:00:08]: Uh they order a number of hybrid vehicles so that they can take advantage of [1:00:08, 1:00:13]: uh eco friendly and they can save a little bit on on gas uh for those particular [1:00:13, 1:00:14]: Um [1:00:15, 1:00:26]: uh vehicles. The CID, the CID for the city. Now the CID will help us in the downtown by helping us clean up the gateway. [1:00:26, 1:00:27]: to downtown. [1:00:27, 1:00:31]: You can't if you're coming off of I seventy five and I six seventy five. [1:00:32, 1:00:35]: It's a eyesore. We want to be able to fix that. [1:00:35, 1:00:38]: The community improvement district will help us do that. [1:00:38, 1:00:40]: By having business owners tax themselves [1:00:41, 1:00:43]: And pay for the improvements along that highway. [1:00:44, 1:00:46]: Including trails, including [1:00:46, 1:00:49]: beautification in the medium, litter pickup, cleanup. [1:00:50, 1:00:53]: Uh uniform signing Clayton County, Henry County. [1:00:53, 1:00:56]: And the city of Stockbridge are all at the table. [1:00:56, 1:01:00]: working. So when you drive down that corridor, you won't be able to tell whether you're in Henry County. [1:01:01, 1:01:09]: Clayton County or the city of Startbridge, because all the signage will look the same. And then when you get off I-75, there will be a directional sign. [1:01:09, 1:01:12]: A multiple signs directing you to the amphitheater. [1:01:12, 1:01:16]: into downtown Stockbridge so you'll actually know how to get there. [1:01:16, 1:01:18]: uh with the wayfinding sign it. [1:01:18, 1:01:32]: That's extremely important to helping and assisting in what we do. That process is moving forward. Actually, I got a I got a text from a business owner saying that our consultant, Nickel Nickelworks, had actually contacted them. [1:01:33, 1:01:35]: Uh in order to engage them. [1:01:35, 1:01:45]: uh in the process because nickel works is tremendous. They help set up several CIDs or community improvement districts all over uh Metro Atlanta. [1:01:45, 1:01:48]: And when they get involved, they go to work. [1:01:48, 1:01:53]: And they seriously make things happen. So it's very good that we're able to [1:01:53, 1:01:59]: uh uh employ them uh in making sure that we're moving things are forward. Juneteenth. [1:02:00, 1:02:05]: You know, Juneteenth was amazing. If you didn't see the show, if you weren't there. [1:02:05, 1:02:09]: They had the uh acrobats from the Universal Soul Circus. [1:02:09, 1:02:13]: uh that would that actually perform for us. We had several performer. It was a big event. [1:02:14, 1:02:14]: That was a [1:02:15, 1:02:15]: Big crowd. [1:02:16, 1:02:18]: They showed up uh for the event. [1:02:18, 1:02:23]: And having it actually on June nineteenth made a difference'cause there were so many people that [1:02:23, 1:02:25]: You know, s had there been on Saturday. [1:02:25, 1:02:29]: Some people had there on Monday, but the fact that we had it on the actual June nineteenth. [1:02:30, 1:02:31]: A big crowd showed up. [1:02:32, 1:02:34]: And it was truly appreciated. [1:02:34, 1:02:37]: Well, everybody showed, you know, stock rich truly. [1:02:37, 1:02:39]: It's where community connects. Thank you. [1:02:42, 1:02:43]: Any questions? [1:02:44, 1:02:54]: Yeah. So I drove around for fifteen minutes, couldn't find a place to park and I said, Well [1:02:54, 1:02:57]: You know, I was there. [1:02:58, 1:03:03]: It was a lot of it looked like it had a huge crowd, so I'm I'm glad it w I'm glad it went well. [1:03:04, 1:03:07]: It did, it did. And uh what it did it showed that [1:03:07, 1:03:11]: You know, people are interested in being in our downtown. We see that. [1:03:12, 1:03:15]: And I think again that eventually business owners will start to see that. [1:03:15, 1:03:17]: As well. [1:03:17, 1:03:21]: So continue to spread the word about what's going on because every time somebody sees a crowd. [1:03:21, 1:03:24]: They're asking in the crowd, what what what [1:03:24, 1:03:27]: Mr. Councilman Alexander, what can we do to get involved? And I'm directing them to [1:03:28, 1:03:32]: the right officials. We just looking forward to seeing something actually happening. Yeah. [1:03:34, 1:03:35]: Barber, you have your hand up? [1:03:36, 1:03:39]: Yes, I have two, I think, relatively quick questions. The Cultural Arts Center. [1:03:40, 1:03:41]: Um do we have a [1:03:42, 1:03:45]: projected date on when that project will be completed. [1:03:46, 1:03:50]: Well well what the council is in the final decision making process where [1:03:51, 1:03:54]: Initially we put the project out and [1:03:55, 1:03:59]: The budget for the project was eighteen million dollars. Okay. [1:03:59, 1:04:04]: It was put out in this present market and it came back in order to get. [1:04:04, 1:04:09]: What we wanted to get, it was gonna be thirty million dollars. Wow. [1:04:09, 1:04:14]: because of everything that's going on in this market with supply chain and all of that. [1:04:14, 1:04:18]: So we we try to we basically come to [1:04:18, 1:04:21]: uh a medium point uh where [1:04:21, 1:04:30]: We are going to build the facility that you see in the renderings that the city has shared. If you've seen the renderings, but some a portion of it, such as [1:04:30, 1:04:35]: The ballroom might not be initially finished. We will build a shell of the building. [1:04:36, 1:04:38]: Uh, so that we can finance it and pay for it. [1:04:38, 1:04:41]: А твоє три мільйони сдати ту. [1:04:41, 1:04:45]: And then over time we'll go back and backfill and fill in. [1:04:45, 1:04:49]: uh the interior of the building so that we don't compromise [1:04:49, 1:04:51]: What the overall goal is. [1:04:51, 1:04:52]: uh for the building. So [1:04:52, 1:04:56]: If all goes well, then possibly [1:04:56, 1:04:58]: Uh, maybe the first quarter of next year. [1:04:59, 1:05:01]: Uh we'll be looking at doing some ground clearing. [1:05:02, 1:05:04]: And then actually starting on the project. [1:05:04, 1:05:08]: Uh that hiccup really kinda threw a monkey wrench into what we were trying to do when [1:05:09, 1:05:12]: It w if we we wanted nice, we got nice, but we certainly didn't appreciate [1:05:13, 1:05:19]: uh anticipate that price tag, but I think we've come to a happy medium and we should be able to move forward the first quarter of next year. [1:05:20, 1:05:20]: Okay. [1:05:21, 1:05:33]: Um, the other question, actually I have three. The other question is one of our previous meetings, start updating my notes here. One of our previous meetings, I forget the representative that the visitor that we had, but we were talking about the opportunity zone and [1:05:33, 1:05:41]: The representative had mentioned that Stockbridge downtown really didn't have any blight, if you will. And you were like, No, I think we need to revisit that. [1:05:41, 1:06:00]: Um can you have someone come back out here and and look at that again? Uh because we definitely, you know, uh the news is good. Me and Mr. Me and Mr. Peterson had somebody come out. Okay. So we get get that the opportunities out. We we we we we got uh Sheree Bennett to come out who is the head [1:06:01, 1:06:08]: of the Georgia DCA and she saw what we saw and she recognized we did have black [1:06:08, 1:06:11]: Mr. Peterson, can you give us an update on what [1:06:11, 1:06:13]: Uh the package you're putting together. [1:06:13, 1:06:15]: Uh for the opportunities on [1:06:16, 1:06:18]: Absolutely and um [1:06:18, 1:06:19]: Mr. Gardner. [1:06:19, 1:06:29]: And I are meeting tomorrow to discuss that L the not only the LCI but the opportunity zone as well. There's a lot of moving parts regarding um that opportunity zone. [1:06:30, 1:06:48]: And um that that would include um an urban redeveloped plan and we're looking to move that into a tad. We need that plan for this. We're gonna need uh some maps so GIS will be involved. But uh we did have DCA come out uh for the second time. They came out twice the first time they didn't see blight, the second time they saw blight. [1:06:48, 1:07:05]: And um they took pictures, they gave us the okay to go ahead with that process. So uh this process is going to include a a lot of people, primarily economic development and community development that we might even have to bring in in the county, but we are working hard to get this done as soon as possible. [1:07:06, 1:07:11]: Okay. And my last question, speaking of downtown and all that we're envisioning. [1:07:12, 1:07:13]: Has there [1:07:13, 1:07:14]: All right. [1:07:14, 1:07:20]: Has Mr. Savane begun any process to move forward with the building that he purchased? Any [1:07:21, 1:07:23]: Can we expect to see something with that anytime? [1:07:24, 1:07:27]: Honestly, honestly, this is what I'm gonna say to this board. [1:07:28, 1:07:29]: Do better. [1:07:29, 1:07:40]: Okay, we gotta do better and turn and the city has to do better because it was unacceptable that Mr. Sylvain just got the title. [1:07:40, 1:07:42]: or the survey to the building. [1:07:42, 1:07:45]: Авто амосту єс. [1:07:45, 1:07:47]: You know, w it was a messy process where [1:07:48, 1:07:50]: You know, back in time, you know. [1:07:51, 1:07:52]: Folks weren't doing it. They were just [1:07:53, 1:08:08]: You know, uh I guess over the it's over here by the rock over there or or the pole over there. That's where the boundary is. There wasn't even a legal document that actually described in total what the property is. So the lawyers had to go back and actually [1:08:09, 1:08:11]: Реконструкт дал процес. [1:08:11, 1:08:13]: Falcon Design did [1:08:13, 1:08:17]: uh the survey. One positive that came out of that is that they charted [1:08:18, 1:08:20]: Pretty much all of the properties in downtown. [1:08:20, 1:08:22]: So we shouldn't have to go through this with [1:08:23, 1:08:26]: Another opportunity, but Mr. Sylvain should have his [1:08:26, 1:08:34]: Deed his survey and everything at this point. So he had been uh communicating to us. [1:08:34, 1:08:38]: that he wanted to move forward, but he was frustrated with the fact that [1:08:38, 1:08:42]: He wasn't able to do so because he wanted his architect to work on it, but [1:08:42, 1:08:47]: How does an architect work on a project when you don't even have a survey of the property? So [1:08:47, 1:08:48]: At this point [1:08:48, 1:08:51]: Uh he w he's anxiously wanting to move forward. [1:08:52, 1:08:53]: Not with the project. [1:08:53, 1:08:56]: We've had numerous discussions and trust me. [1:08:56, 1:09:08]: At every opportunity you think I'm talking about economic development with you, I met with the people with HJ Russell's and trying to HJ Russell and trying to talk them into putting the Pascals in downtown. [1:09:08, 1:09:15]: because they uh are are they are very interested in uh in supporting us and helping us. [1:09:15, 1:09:20]: do things because of our relationship with them. They've actually directed a few [1:09:20, 1:09:23]: Context to look at the city. [1:09:23, 1:09:26]: to see about bringing particular potential restaurants. [1:09:26, 1:09:28]: And potential uh businesses. [1:09:29, 1:09:34]: to the city. So the long and short of it is that now that we've actually done our part. [1:09:35, 1:09:41]: Mr. Savane can actually do and uh move along with his architect to sub to sub to submit. [1:09:42, 1:10:00]: actual plans to the city on what he wants to accomplish uh with his business because every time i was calling him to ask him what was going on he was like what are y'all doing i mean i'm waiting on you all so uh i'm looking at us saying we got to do better so if we've done better and and anytime the city turns over one of these projects to us [1:10:00, 1:10:02]: We got to be able to execute. [1:10:02, 1:10:05]: At a high level, holding our attorneys accountable. [1:10:06, 1:10:09]: And everybody at the table that the process gotta be streamlined. [1:10:09, 1:10:13]: Because we don't want the word to get out that we're hard to deal with. [1:10:13, 1:10:16]: And that word is out right now. We're hard to deal with. [1:10:19, 1:10:24]: Councilman Alexander, I do have a question for you about um community events. [1:10:25, 1:10:40]: Particularly for the Fourth of July event, um, are there any opportunities for business owners to become vendors or do you already have your your vendors um lined up and in and for any other community events in the future, how could um [1:10:41, 1:10:42]: We spread the word. [1:10:42, 1:10:53]: Well, that's an excellent question. Thank you for that. What what generally happens is there's city events and then there's concerts like what Georgia Radio Alliance does. [1:10:53, 1:10:57]: For the city events, which July fourth is a city event. [1:10:57, 1:10:59]: We have our own [1:10:59, 1:11:03]: City event staff managing that particular event. [1:11:03, 1:11:10]: There are vendor slots available at all of those city events that we have. We have a centennial concert. [1:11:10, 1:11:16]: and event coming up as well that's under the s under the city events team. [1:11:16, 1:11:18]: There are vendor spaces available for that. [1:11:18, 1:11:20]: Every tasty Tuesday. [1:11:20, 1:11:25]: Food trucks. There's vendor spaces available for that. So pretty much everything [1:11:25, 1:11:39]: that the uh s the city uh event staff works on, there are opportunities to partner and to become a vendor uh uh at those particular events. At the sipping seat today, there were vendors there uh as well. [1:11:44, 1:11:45]: Thank you very much. [1:11:47, 1:12:01]: Is there a particular contact with the city that yes, uh uh Vince uh Vince uh director is Kim Jordan and you will contact her or our coordinator, uh a Coneywell Ingram. [1:12:01, 1:12:03]: Those two individuals are charged with [1:12:04, 1:12:18]: uh managing the city events uh that would that take place uh in downtown. And I'm sure if you ask Kira with these movie nights and that they're having any events that they're having, there's always vendor opportunities. And if we do [1:12:19, 1:12:20]: Uh деса [1:12:20, 1:12:21]: Night market. [1:12:22, 1:12:26]: There will be vendor opportunities there. Surely we could probably have some food trucks there or [1:12:26, 1:12:28]: So uh uh other type of um [1:12:29, 1:12:31]: You know, vendors uh as well, food, clothing. [1:12:32, 1:12:35]: And just we just want to make it lively so everybody can [1:12:35, 1:12:55]: And you know, take advantage of the open container law in downtown that we passed ages ago that we haven't been able to use because we don't have any outside events to do it with. But this will be the first uh event where folks can actually come purchase alcohol from a vendor, you know, socialize and have [1:12:55, 1:12:58]: Have a great time at night in downtown Stockbridge. [1:13:00, 1:13:01]: Sure, Kestin. [1:13:01, 1:13:02]: Mm-hmm. [1:13:03, 1:13:07]: All right. Chair Custom. Oh yes. Please go ahead. I'll just give out the main number in [1:13:08, 1:13:08]: The event. [1:13:10, 1:13:12]: You you faded away a little bit, you're gonna give out the number. [1:13:13, 1:13:13]: Yeah. [1:13:14, 1:13:15]: Seven seven zero. [1:13:16, 1:13:26]: three eight nine five nine eight two seven seven zero three eight nine five nine eight two that's the main events number and the events um [1:13:26, 1:13:30]: page on the city's website, cityofstockbridge.com. [1:13:31, 1:13:32]: Thank you. [1:13:32, 1:13:32]: Thank you. [1:13:33, 1:13:36]: All right, any other questions or comments for uh [1:13:36, 1:13:37]: Councilman Alexander. [1:13:41, 1:13:51]: All right, we'll move on to the uh next items on the agenda. So the new DDA logo, uh Alan mentioned that uh we've got a meeting uh hopefully we're gonna try to set up with the [1:13:51, 1:14:11]: The city to understand their position on, you know, what, if anything, we can leverage from the city's logo to kind of uh show some unity with the DDA. Um, we expect to have an update on that for our next meeting. Um, as far as old business, um the Georgia Tech Market Study, we did get when we had our meeting with. [1:14:11, 1:14:31]: The that Alan had referred to, uh, the firm that's doing the market study was in that meeting, and he did mention that they're a couple of weeks behind and they expect to have the market study ready for release at the end of July. Uh, so that's moving along. Uh, the next item on the agenda is the downtown strategic work plan, which I chaired. [1:14:31, 1:14:51]: the uh tourism um uh committee. Uh the last uh meeting we are evaluating potential site locations for an MOK senior family statue. Um so we have a list of about 10 potential sites with pros and cons. Some of them are not owned by the city. [1:14:51, 1:15:02]: and so forth. Once we finalize that, I expect our next step will be to present that to the city council for recommendation and approval. [1:15:03, 1:15:23]: Uh the next item is the committee to draft the intergovernmental agreement. Uh this is the standing agreement between the DDA and the city of Stockbridge, just to clarify what is expected in exchange for you know the partnership between the two entities. Um sorry Roy. Go go ahead, Councilman. Yeah, we [1:15:23, 1:15:26]: We uh we as you saw with the email chain. [1:15:26, 1:15:31]: The the attorneys have finished reviewing it, the council is reviewing it, so we should be able to [1:15:32, 1:15:33]: Um actually [1:15:33, 1:15:36]: Uh o uh review it. [1:15:36, 1:15:41]: And have it on the next agenda. That was the discussion that we had amongst the council members. [1:15:41, 1:15:44]: They when they got it, they didn't have enough time to review it. [1:15:45, 1:15:48]: And they wanted to do that and then we should be able to review it. [1:15:48, 1:15:51]: And then um take some action on it at the next meeting. [1:15:51, 1:16:00]: Yeah, uh understood. Yeah, that's what I was gonna mention that uh the expectation of the city council will take it up in the next meeting, which is the work session next Tuesday, I believe. [1:16:02, 1:16:11]: And uh finally the uh well before I close all those items, are there any questions about the new business or old business? Any comments or questions? [1:16:13, 1:16:30]: All right, seeing none, hearing none. And there is one item to check in with uh Vanessa. Um uh uh Barber and I need to go to the the bank to clarify the new legal the the you know the the clarified legal name of the DDA, make sure our bank account reflects that. Um [1:16:31, 1:16:32]: Could you? [1:16:32, 1:16:36]: I I imagine you have this uh the certificate. [1:16:37, 1:16:49]: There there was a certificate that was signed by you, the city clerk, that clarified the legal name for the DDA. Do you do you have that? And can you forward the final version of that copy over to me and Barber? [1:16:54, 1:16:56]: And we'll pop off line on that one. [1:16:56, 1:16:57]: I'm sorry. [1:16:58, 1:17:00]: I will I will send you what I have. [1:17:00, 1:17:01]: All right. [1:17:02, 1:17:08]: Okay, good. Thank you. And then uh hopefully it'll be enough so that we can um go ahead and get that taken care of at the bank. [1:17:09, 1:17:18]: And uh that concludes all the items I had on the uh that we had on the agenda. Um we'll just open it up for any other remaining questions or comments from anyone. [1:17:20, 1:17:31]: Just just a just a uh request if uh Vanessa, if you could also forward a copy of that uh certificate to me, I can add it to our um our our DDA records. [1:17:35, 1:17:36]: All right. [1:17:36, 1:17:38]: Anything else, anyone? [1:17:38, 1:17:58]: Here custom, I have um three things um very, very quickly. Just uh one reminder, um just to speak with you offline about the um uh the zoom link, just to get me together with the panelists, to be on the panelists. But um the other two um uh the I was able to actually get in access my inbox uh during this meeting. So I'm [1:17:58, 1:18:07]: Good to go on that. Um, I have everything there. And then thirdly, just a question for Vanessa about the DDA training. Um, do I just um [1:18:07, 1:18:12]: Will I be waiting on you to get me registered or is there anything that I need to do on my end? [1:18:13, 1:18:20]: What we do is when we see training come up, Frangela, we send it out to you and ask you if you're interested in attending. [1:18:20, 1:18:24]: Okay. And when you respond back to us, that's when we go forward with your registration. [1:18:25, 1:18:26]: Okay, simple enough. Thank you. [1:18:29, 1:18:30]: Anything else? [1:18:31, 1:18:33]: All right, please call me by my first name. [1:18:36, 1:18:37]: Sure, Custom, I think that one. [1:18:38, 1:18:41]: I'm teasing. All right. Um any anything else, anyone? [1:18:43, 1:18:48]: All right, well with that then um um anyone wanna go ahead and make a motion to adjourn? [1:18:49, 1:18:51]: I motion that we adjourn. [1:18:51, 1:18:52]: Thank you for it. [1:18:54, 1:18:56]: We have a second. Second. Second. Thank you, Bob. [1:18:57, 1:18:58]: Any discussion? [1:18:59, 1:19:02]: All right, all those in favor to adjourn, please raise your hand. [1:19:03, 1:19:11]: Looks to be unanimous. Thank you, everyone. I appreciate your good your good work and service to the board and the city of Stockbridge. I'll have a great evening. [1:19:11, 1:19:11]: Good night. [1:19:12, 1:19:13]: Good work. Good work. [1:19:14, 1:19:16]: All right, appreciate it. Good night, everyone. [1:19:16, 1:19:17]: Good night.
