[0:03:11, 0:03:13]: So let's see if she's in here. [0:03:13, 0:03:15]: She may have just jumped in. [0:03:16, 0:03:19]: Nope, don't say anybody. [0:03:20, 0:03:21]: Hey, how y'all doing? [0:05:34, 0:05:40]: All right, next we have the pledge of allegiance. I pledge allegiance to the flag. [0:05:40, 0:05:48]: The United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, individual, with liberty and justice for all. [0:05:49, 0:05:51]: Uh Miss Adams, could you do roll call, please? [0:05:56, 0:06:00]: Yes, I'm sorry, I was having trouble getting off mute. [0:06:00, 0:06:02]: Okay, uh Erica. [0:06:03, 0:06:03]: Present. [0:06:04, 0:06:05]: Okay, can everyone hear me? [0:06:06, 0:06:07]: Yes. [0:06:07, 0:06:09]: Okay. Uh Joy Carter. [0:06:13, 0:06:18]: Jody Alexander. [0:06:18, 0:06:20]: Air uh Zeller. [0:06:22, 0:06:23]: Yeah. [0:06:25, 0:06:28]: Okay, I don't know if thou if is anyone saying anything. [0:06:30, 0:06:50]: I'm not hearing anyone. All those names that you've called except for Jody Alexander are here and I don't hear them speaking. So let me check and see if there's something going on with I'm sorry. Somebody was at my door. I apologize. I'm here. Gotcha. Okay. So we have others. Miss Carter is also here. I know I caught you called her. So let the record reflect that Miss Carter is here as well. [0:06:51, 0:06:53]: All right. Alfreda. [0:06:57, 0:07:00]: Present, can you hear me? Yes, yes. I'm present. [0:07:01, 0:07:02]: There is [0:07:02, 0:07:03]: Yes, ma'am, I'm here. [0:07:04, 0:07:06]: Thank you, Shamika Jones. [0:07:06, 0:07:07]: Present. [0:07:09, 0:07:10]: Uh our via hall. [0:07:14, 0:07:15]: [435.7, 437.7]: Okay, Keely Sutton. [0:07:18, 0:07:19]: Present. [0:07:20, 0:07:21]: And Naya, Hendrik. [0:07:24, 0:07:25]: Rising. [0:07:26, 0:07:27]: And Benita Adams is present. [0:07:29, 0:07:30]: Okay, we have a quorum. [0:07:31, 0:07:51]: Um, so for opening remarks, we actually do have an opening remark today. We would like to welcome in Ms. Tanya Tony Williams. Um, she was initiated, well, I mean like sworn in onto the advisory board on this afternoon. Um, I would like to say I apologize for not being able to make it. I did have plans on. [0:07:51, 0:08:07]: I'm being here today, but I had to rush my infant newborn into the emergency room this morning. So um I wasn't able to make it. So I I apologize for not being there. But congratulations. And I would like if you would take a moment to uh jump in and tell us a little bit about yourself. [0:08:07, 0:08:11]: Okay, thank you so much. Um Eric, I hope that your son is doing better. [0:08:12, 0:08:23]: Yes, he's okay. Okay, good. Um, so I am um Tanya Williams, but I go by Tony. Um, I am new to Georgia. I've been here for about three years. [0:08:24, 0:08:37]: and only a year in Henry County. I relocated from Washington, DC, where I spent like most of my adult life. But I'm originally from New Iberia, Louisiana. [0:08:38, 0:08:58]: So I have been working with mentorship for probably a long time. Like I've done coaching. Um, I actually have a mentoring program for girls. Um I do a lot of work in the United States and globally, specifically in Ghana, West Africa with schools and girls. So um I once I [0:08:58, 0:09:10]: moved into Henry County, I wanted to be involved with the community in which I reside. So I started kind of looking for ways that I can serve. So [0:09:10, 0:09:14]: Um, I'm glad that I was accepted um and appointed. [0:09:14, 0:09:23]: And torn in. And I'm just looking forward to learning about the organization and you know getting my hands into some interesting things. [0:09:26, 0:09:44]: All right, that is awesome. Um, we will probably mo most likely have our next meeting next month in person. So we can't wait to meet you and get to see your face and you know all that stuff. So um we're excited about working with you and we appreciate you choosing the advisory committee to serve our community. [0:09:45, 0:09:56]: Uh next on the agenda, I mean uh yeah, next on the agenda we have the adopt of the agenda adoption of the agenda. Um if you guys would like to take a moment to look over the agenda if you haven't already. [0:09:56, 0:09:58]: And um [0:09:59, 0:10:04]: Uh if if there's no changes to the agenda, make a motion to accept the agenda. [0:10:06, 0:10:07]: Yeah. [0:10:22, 0:10:22]: Mm. [0:10:31, 0:10:31]: Yeah. [0:10:32, 0:10:35]: Sorry, where is the agenda? Is it in our email? [0:10:38, 0:10:41]: Yeah, I'm looking for it now. [0:10:42, 0:10:46]: Uh sent me an email, I believe like two weeks ago. [0:10:50, 0:10:54]: I'll drop it in crew for everybody just so you can have it quickly. [0:10:56, 0:10:57]: Yeah, I found it in crew. [0:10:58, 0:10:59]: On June thirteenth. [0:10:59, 0:11:01]: Okay. I just found it myself, yeah. [0:11:06, 0:11:12]: Uh to do to do. Okay. I can look at it in crew. It's no problem. I'll get them in crew. [0:11:12, 0:11:14]: Randy, did you um [0:11:15, 0:11:17]: Get the agenda to Miss Williams or [0:11:18, 0:11:29]: Do you um no I didn't? I can send it to her right quick via email. I'm still having problems. [0:11:30, 0:11:31]: I guess message. [0:11:31, 0:11:34]: Okay, thank you. So let me try to email it to her right quick. [0:11:38, 0:11:39]: Okay, hold on polish. [0:12:00, 0:12:00]: Stop. [0:12:02, 0:12:03]: Mm-hmm. [0:12:39, 0:12:40]: Miss Towning. [0:12:47, 0:12:52]: Yes. Yes. What's your email address so I can send you the agenda right quick? [0:12:52, 0:12:58]: Okay, it's T S and Tanya Stevenson S T E V as and Victor E N S O N. [0:12:59, 0:13:00]: Mm-hmm. Three, four. [0:13:01, 0:13:05]: Three, four, eight, Gmail, right? Yes. Okay, good Gmail. [0:13:06, 0:13:08]: T Stevenson at Gmail. [0:13:08, 0:13:10]: T Stevenson three four at Gmail. [0:13:10, 0:13:13]: T Stevenson three four at gmail dot com. Okay. [0:13:15, 0:13:20]: Okay, one thing I want to strike from the agenda because I just reached out to [0:13:21, 0:13:30]: Jaden and he doesn't have the information will be item number five, voters registration tour. So we will go ahead and strike number five from the agenda. [0:13:35, 0:13:37]: of older registration, I okay, I may have the wrong [0:13:38, 0:13:38]: Mm-hmm. [0:13:42, 0:13:43]: For new business? [0:13:44, 0:13:53]: Oh uh it's under new. Yeah, we have on the but the one that was on the 13th says alumni programs. That was [0:13:54, 0:14:02]: Yeah, we don't have all the registration. We we okay. How many items do you have on the one that you're looking at? We have six for new business. [0:14:03, 0:14:18]: Okay, well let's just leave it as is. Maybe I think I uh well I know what I did was I added it to the agenda, waiting on him to send the correspondence before he I sent it out and he never did. So when I just saw it on there, I went to check. But he said he still doesn't have anything. So we're just gonna go ahead and [0:14:18, 0:14:23]: take that off and we probably won't even be able to participate because the dates that he gave me. [0:14:24, 0:14:38]: were definitely coming up and with everything we have on the table. I told him that he would have to have that, you know, present that by tonight if you know that was something that we were gonna do. So we'll just go ahead and strike. We're not even gonna table it. We're just gonna take it off the agenda. [0:14:40, 0:14:42]: Um and he's not here to present either. [0:14:42, 0:14:48]: So, um, and he actually just sent me, do you guys have the alumni program? [0:14:51, 0:14:53]: Does it say number six alumni? [0:14:55, 0:14:56]: Number five. [0:14:56, 0:14:58]: Or five, yeah. It would have been five at that time. [0:14:59, 0:15:15]: Yes, ma'am. That's on their alumni program. Um and you have Sutton beside that. Yeah, and I'm not just Sutton, I will not put that on you. Um he just sent that. So I'll just go ahead and screen share it so that we all are able to look at it and see what they're proposing and then kind of go from there. [0:15:15, 0:15:22]: So with that being said, if we can make a motion to adopt the agenda and we'll run right into old business. [0:15:25, 0:15:29]: I motion, um I should make a motion that we adopt adopt the um new agenda. [0:15:32, 0:15:33]: I dare you say. [0:15:33, 0:15:36]: It's been motioned and properly second. All in favor. [0:15:36, 0:15:37]: Say aye. [0:15:38, 0:15:39]: All right. [0:15:40, 0:15:41]: Uh, this is uh [0:15:43, 0:15:44]: Hi, Renee. [0:15:47, 0:15:48]: I Tony. [0:15:50, 0:15:51]: Any opposed? [0:15:55, 0:15:56]: Hearing abstain. [0:15:57, 0:15:59]: Any upstairs here in a C and I. [0:15:59, 0:16:00]: So moved. [0:16:00, 0:16:20]: All right, guys, let's jump right into old business. Like I said, we have a pretty lengthy um agenda tonight. So we're gonna try to get through this not quickly, but as efficiently as we possibly can. We have quite a you know, all this stuff is high priority on the list. So let's just, you know, bear with me tonight. Let's try to get through it. Um, the first thing we have is the back to school. [0:16:20, 0:16:21]: School event. [0:16:22, 0:16:24]: Uh that is on [0:16:24, 0:16:27]: The first thing we're doing for the fr back to school is a two party event. [0:16:28, 0:16:34]: And part one is July twelfth. Correct me if I'm wrong, um Randy. [0:16:35, 0:16:39]: July twelfth. There that will be the fill the bus and um part and it's [0:16:40, 0:16:58]: uh partner with tasty two states. So um for since Tony's here, I'm gonna kind of go comb through this um briefly, all the uh different events. So just um I know some of these things we've already talked about, but I'm just kind of go through them a little bit more. Um the fill the bus event, what we're gonna do is we're having a back to school kickoff. [0:16:59, 0:17:08]: July, I believe 25th. I don't have my dates in front of me. Is it July 25th? 23rd. Twenty-third. Um yeah, booked back on. Okay. [0:17:09, 0:17:29]: So for the on July 23rd, we're having a big back to school rally in partnership with the city of Stockbridge. Um, in order to make that happen, we have to, you know, obtain some grants and some school supplies and you know, all that that all those uh kind of things so that we can have the event. So I'm still waiting to hear from events. I didn't hear from anybody. [0:17:29, 0:17:41]: Today, but um I asked them at the event on Sunday if we had the grant for Walmart. I don't think we've had we've gotten that yet. So as of right now, we do not have the book bags. [0:17:42, 0:17:48]: Um, I'm awaiting on a flyer from events so that we can kind of start pushing it. Um, we [0:17:49, 0:18:09]: About a three weeks. We have about three weeks. So um we need to go ahead and start pushing to fill the bus. The goal is to get out and get people to donate school supplies. And they're gonna come out to and bring them to the Tasty Tuesdays and bring the school supplies. Um we'll fill up boxes. So I think we need to, I don't think people may not just bring whole boxes. So [0:18:09, 0:18:18]: It'll probably be a good idea to have some boxes so that we can fill them as people come and then put them on the bus. So we we're not just putting like loose items. So um [0:18:19, 0:18:39]: What they'll do is they'll come, they'll supply us with the the donated items. Then on the two weeks before, two days before the event, we'll go and we'll fill all the book bags and then bring them over to the event um afterwards. I do not have a lot of details for fill the bus. We had one one meeting um probably. [0:18:39, 0:18:48]: Prior to the approval for the Tasty Tuesdays, and we have not met or had any correspondence since then. Um, from our side though, uh, Ms. [0:18:49, 0:18:52]: Sh uh min not Zellers, I'm sorry, Miss Shamica. [0:18:53, 0:19:13]: Actually, did obtain the bus so she was able to get Henry County to allow us to use a bus so that we have it at our event. And so uh congratulations, hats off to you. Thank you for uh making sure we uh made that happen. Um, so we do have the bus. I am going to work on a flyer and I'll submit it to events if they like it. [0:19:13, 0:19:16]: will run with it because I don't want to wait too long. Um [0:19:16, 0:19:36]: So we can start pushing it because I mean a big part of the event is having the supplies. Yeah. Um they will have food trucks there because it's Tasty Tuesdays, and they have also decided to add a huge like a um fair. So they'll have carnival rides and all of that stuff at that Tasty Tuesday. So I think it's gonna be a really big Tasty Tuesday. [0:19:36, 0:19:53]: Tuesdays. We just have to make sure that we get the word out that we're trying to get people to donate school supplies. Um, we can reach out to our churches, we can reach out to our uh like the divine nine. I know a lot of times they'll come out and they'll, you know, donate different items. [0:19:54, 0:20:14]: Um, but we want to be very mindful that we're not reaching out to the same people that we're gonna be reaching out at film fest, which is item number two, and we'll get to that. So we like I will talk about that a little bit more. But when we decide to go and reach out to these people, we need to kind of I think we need to be, you know, all on one accord to make sure we're not double tapping and going in July asking for school supplies and then turn. [0:20:14, 0:20:19]: turning around and asking for donations for Fam Fest. I just don't think it's a good look. Miss Renee has her hand up. [0:20:20, 0:20:22]: Uh let's uh go ahead, Mr. Nay. [0:20:23, 0:20:32]: Um my um military sorority, the Epsilon side military sorority, they're looking for a school to donate um supplies to. [0:20:32, 0:20:48]: So if you can get me that information like ASAP, I can um send that flyer or just information to them to see if they'll be willing to participate because they are actually looking right now to donate. So this may be an event for them. [0:20:48, 0:20:54]: And they're hot and heavy in Stockbridge community. So this may be something they want to make themselves visible as well as donate. [0:20:55, 0:21:15]: Absolutely. I will definitely for at least for our end, I will get it may not be the approved city, the one that gets pushed, but I'm gonna go ahead and finish the flyer and I'll send it to you tonight so that we can at least on our end so that when they get everything in order, our you know, we're still getting the ball rolling. I just don't want us to sit on our hands and kind of wait. Um we [0:21:15, 0:21:26]: can at least have all this stuff in motion. Um thank you. I'll send it to them um as soon as you send it to me, I'll forward it to the president of this military sorority so they can go ahead and put them in the hat. [0:21:26, 0:21:31]: Awesome. Thank you. Thank you. Um another um excuse me. [0:21:31, 0:21:49]: I want to make a suggestion regarding with us asking, you know, the community for help. Do we have we started a sponsorship list, especially for those who want to we want to target for large sums of donations so we can make sure that we're not um double tapping them? That'll be one way to make sure we know. [0:21:49, 0:22:07]: Yeah, that's why I said we'll talk about a little bit more in cage. I don't want to get ahead of myself. Okay. So we'll we'll talk about that a little bit more there. Um, so the point though, so what I was gonna get ready to jump into is well, me and Zellers talked this um earlier earlier this week and came up with a solution, which again there's [0:22:08, 0:22:15]: There's a little bit in there to it. So I'm gonna talk about what we talked about, then I'm gonna share a little bit of information that may I wanna make sure you guys I have all the information. [0:22:15, 0:22:18]: So that doesn't change your mind when we decide to vote. [0:22:18, 0:22:38]: So what we were talking about is because um we all kind of decide we're we're talking and saying that this is a huge event and we could go ahead and make this our our one big event and just partner the rest of the year, not doing any more activities or events um for the duration of the calendar, that we had the funds to go ahead and just [0:22:38, 0:22:58]: Maybe take a$15 to$2,000 and the youth council go ahead and get a bunch of boxes of school supplies. So at least we know that we don't have to lean on the community for the supplies. Like we can't ever guarantee that we're going to get what we're asking for as a protection. [0:22:58, 0:23:09]: But if we have the resources to go ahead and provide, you know, the event with these boxes of supplies, then we already know that the event is going to be a success. [0:23:10, 0:23:23]: I think that's a great idea. I think that will really get us jump started and we won't have to so much worry about the back to school and we can start putting some of our focus towards the Kenton Jones because that's gonna take a lot more. [0:23:24, 0:23:25]: However, the [0:23:26, 0:23:31]: I'm jumping a little ahead because it's gonna make the determination on if we decide to do this. [0:23:31, 0:23:36]: Um, I got a call today with the ax of that we go ahead and [0:23:37, 0:23:47]: pay for the amphitheater, which they're asking the youth council to cover the cost for the amphitheater for camp for fanfest in the amount of$2,500. [0:23:47, 0:24:07]: So I want you, I'm I'm I'm just that's I'm just gonna leave that there and we'll go back to film fest. I just wanted to um make that statement so that you guys don't think, oh, well, we have X amount of dollars because they're asking. So that's something that we're gonna have to decide, decide on and vote on tonight, whether or not we want to do that right now or if we wanna wait. [0:24:07, 0:24:17]: or how we want to, you know, want that to happen. So as it pertains to going back to the purchasing of the school supplies, how do you guys feel about that? [0:24:21, 0:24:27]: I like the this is I like the idea. Um I just because of the amount of time we have. [0:24:27, 0:24:28]: Um [0:24:28, 0:24:31]: In preparation for this on the twelfth of July, I think [0:24:32, 0:24:33]: That would be um [0:24:34, 0:24:36]: I think that'll be a good good decision. [0:24:36, 0:24:38]: Carter, are you there? [0:24:40, 0:24:41]: I am. [0:24:42, 0:24:46]: Okay, as it pertains to the book here. Yes, ma'am. [0:24:46, 0:24:51]: As it pertains to the books, is there anything okay that uh oh we can hear you? Can you hear us? [0:24:53, 0:24:58]: Mm, I can hear you. Okay. As it pertains to the books and the updated um [0:24:59, 0:25:15]: the updated a financial report that I sent over to you. Do you think that like what do you think that it will fit? How do you feel about that purchase based off of what we have? Cause I know your your report is later, but can you give us a little bit of insight tonight on this particular topic? [0:25:16, 0:25:19]: Somehow you went out. Hello? [0:25:20, 0:25:21]: Can you hear me? [0:25:21, 0:25:24]: Oh, I can hear you now. Somehow you went out. [0:25:24, 0:25:38]: I said, can you based off of the um financial report that you you already have, not giving us the full report, but based off of the numbers that you know, could you give us some insight on whether or not we should make that purchase um for the school supplies? [0:25:39, 0:25:45]: Okay, so that's what I kind of want to talk about when without trying to go into the full financial report. [0:25:45, 0:25:47]: Correct. Based off uh [0:25:47, 0:25:52]: One, I need to see what we have left on the table as it relates to events and what we're planning to do. [0:25:52, 0:26:01]: Because I n I know we generally do a service project at at the you know, as it gets to Thanksgiving or Christmas. [0:26:01, 0:26:02]: So [0:26:02, 0:26:04]: And what we look financially. [0:26:04, 0:26:08]: One recommendation that I would say as it relates to school. [0:26:08, 0:26:09]: School supplies. [0:26:10, 0:26:18]: And that instead of us going ahead and buying them, because right now school supplies are extremely high. It is not the time to purchase them right now. [0:26:18, 0:26:20]: Секон о [0:26:20, 0:26:22]: If we did not want to uh [0:26:23, 0:26:30]: get the same people for the rest of the money, I always recommend storing it starting at your grassroots level. [0:26:30, 0:26:40]: grassroots level meaning that the people that we know who may not have a whole lot of money but don't mind buying 10 notebooks or 10 packs of papers or 20 packs of paper. [0:26:41, 0:26:46]: or you know, fifty fold folders. Those are your people that you know your immediate family. [0:26:46, 0:26:47]: Your friends. [0:26:47, 0:26:51]: And grassroots levels always can. [0:26:51, 0:26:55]: do something like that school supplies if you don't want to bother the bigger people. [0:26:56, 0:26:59]: to get what we need for the film festival. [0:26:59, 0:27:02]: My question is, what is the hurry? [0:27:02, 0:27:07]: with us paying the twenty five hundred dollars for the amphitheater if there's no events. [0:27:08, 0:27:09]: There are books. [0:27:09, 0:27:10]: For that space. [0:27:11, 0:27:13]: I just don't understand what is the push. [0:27:14, 0:27:16]: to get that money. [0:27:16, 0:27:18]: The get that. [0:27:18, 0:27:38]: I can't necessarily, you know, be in their minds. I just know that that was the ask from the city manager. So um hold on, hold on one second. Um I that's just the ask of the city manager to get that date secured. Um we don't know. We don't know that once now that this is um out and some [0:27:38, 0:27:48]: Somebody might decide that they want to. I don't know what they're but I do know that they want to go ahead, they want us to go ahead and secure that date by putting down the the twenty five hundred dollar deposit. [0:27:48, 0:27:50]: Okay, I can ask that question. You don't have to. [0:27:51, 0:27:56]: Uh I I I can ask that question. So that's not because that's on the finance side and I can ask. [0:27:57, 0:27:58]: What is the reason?'Cause [0:27:58, 0:28:08]: It it doesn't make sense to me. I deal with finances and people and asking all the time. Well, it's not necessarily the w and it's the the the fact that we have to. So it's not [0:28:09, 0:28:28]: It's not that, you know, it's not that we have to do it today, tomorrow. It's that we know that it's going to come out. That's the only reason why we put that out out there. Can I chime in for one second, Chair Chairwoman Harvey? Yes, thank you. According to the contract, the amphitheater contract, that's what is required. Um, twenty five hundred dollars is the rental agreement. So [0:28:28, 0:28:32]: I can send you all the rental agreement that has been um [0:28:32, 0:28:34]: Produced by the city manager. [0:28:34, 0:28:37]: But I had a conversation with him on Friday afternoon. [0:28:38, 0:28:39]: And he stated that. [0:28:39, 0:28:45]: In order to have the concert, you have to put down twenty five hundred dollars to utilize the amphitheater. [0:28:46, 0:29:06]: That that that's not that's not the question I'm asking. And if it is a contract that's gonna be between this a contract between us, the use of the point of order, guys. Point of order. Um, we're talking about Fam Fest, and I want I don't want to get off track um as far as it pertains to the feel the bus. So if we're if [0:29:06, 0:29:07]: Yes. [0:29:07, 0:29:23]: I I want to get back on just the fact I the only reason I brought up the 2500 is I want you guys to know that we are going to have to do that at some point as it pertains to the amount that we have left. Ms. Carter, can you share with us the amount we have left in the budget as of today? [0:29:23, 0:29:34]: So currently what we have left in the budget is six thousand one hundred and six dollars and seventy-eight cents. That's all we have remaining left in the budget. Okay. [0:29:34, 0:29:36]: So [0:29:37, 0:29:39]: Um okay, uh go ahead. [0:29:40, 0:29:50]: I'm sorry, this is Tony. I was trying to, I know we were talking about the back to school bus. Um, what is the number of students that we're serving? Like how many book bags are you trying to create? 1,000. [0:29:50, 0:29:52]: One thousand. Okay. That's all I needed. Thank you. [0:29:53, 0:29:53]: You're welcome. [0:29:54, 0:29:57]: Can I chime in about the school the back to school event? [0:29:58, 0:29:59]: Yes, ma'am. [0:30:00, 0:30:07]: Um, and so Miss Carter, I know that you weren't um I know that you were talking about the purchasing of the school supplies. [0:30:07, 0:30:11]: Um, and we were talking about you were talking about the previous events. [0:30:11, 0:30:17]: I know um on Monday and I I think we probably need to bring this back to this call. [0:30:17, 0:30:22]: on Monday when we went to that um to meeting with mayor and council on the thirteenth. [0:30:23, 0:30:26]: We were kind of just loosely discussing. [0:30:26, 0:30:29]: If we decide to do the fam fest. [0:30:29, 0:30:34]: then we're gonna partner for our remaining events. [0:30:34, 0:30:36]: Basically meaning that [0:30:36, 0:30:48]: Um, because you know, usually we put on our own Christmas event or we do our own fall festival event. Um, last year we were able to do our own fall festival and partner and then we partner for Christmas. [0:30:48, 0:30:53]: So what we were saying is if we're gonna take on something of this magnitude in October. [0:30:53, 0:30:58]: then we're not gonna be able to also efficiently plan the fall festival. [0:30:58, 0:31:03]: And come right off of that and do the Christmas event. So we were loosely saying, okay. [0:31:03, 0:31:20]: Typically when we partner, that's about$500 to$1,000 worth of resources that we bring to the table in partnership. So I just wanted you to also have that information as well so you wouldn't be thinking, what is our budget for the Christmas event and what is our budget for the fall festival event? [0:31:21, 0:31:26]: Um, just because I know that you weren't um able to make that meeting. So I wanted to make sure you were in a loop with that. [0:31:26, 0:31:29]: Um and as it related to the school supplies. [0:31:29, 0:31:49]: Um, I know this is probably not the best time to purchase them, but I do think that, you know, I I was talking about potentially taking some of our money to purchase those just so that we have a little bit of reprieve as it relates to um, you know, having to ask in our circles about, you know, the sponsorship opportunity. [0:31:49, 0:32:02]: I think that's a great idea about asking like our immediate families and our, you know, like you said, people may donate$50 worth of school supplies. We may not feel as comfortable asking for$50 for FAMFES. [0:32:02, 0:32:22]: But I think fifty dollars towards the other event would be awesome. But just so that we were not exhausting both of those things or like she said, kind of circling back around and asking for things on two ends. I think that if we can do it in our budget, I think that we should purchase some supplies. I think that's a good um adjuster as far as for partnering with the city. [0:32:22, 0:32:42]: I don't think we're responsible for all of the supplies. So I think whatever amount that we decide on and agree on, we agree to purchase and then we agree to go to our circles and ask for them to also donate. And I think that, you know, the city should also be pushing that as well. Like it is not the youth council's full responsibility to fill the whole bus. [0:32:43, 0:32:45]: And we've already acquired the bus as well too. [0:32:46, 0:32:48]: So, you know, those are just my thoughts. [0:32:48, 0:32:49]: Thank you, Sharika. [0:32:49, 0:32:51]: I'm also [0:32:51, 0:32:51]: Um [0:32:52, 0:32:56]: Point point out the fact that we have exactly three weeks from today. [0:32:57, 0:33:17]: To fill the bus, meaning we have three weeks to ask, three weeks to receive the funds, and three weeks to make the purchase, which we all know that is no that is not a lot of time. And so that's really the urgency is the amount of time, especially based off the fact that we do not have a flyer. We have not had a sit down. This is gonna be an event that [0:33:17, 0:33:31]: Yes, we're partnering, but it's gonna happen real fast. And I don't want us to be, you know, stressed out with everything else that we have on our, on our, on our plate. Um, I think that maybe bringing it down to maybe a thousand dollars will at least give us, you know, get us in the right direction. [0:33:31, 0:33:47]: And we can say, okay, we have that. Everything else we have will be extra and we can push from there. Um, so anybody else have any other um ideas or suggestions or input as it pertains to the Feel the Bus Initiative. [0:33:54, 0:33:56]: Hi, Sylvania. [0:33:56, 0:33:57]: Hey, Miss Benita. [0:33:58, 0:33:59]: Can everyone hear me? [0:33:59, 0:34:00]: Yes, ma'am. [0:34:00, 0:34:05]: Hey, hey, how I'm just speaking about a fundraiser. [0:34:05, 0:34:15]: I did recently. I don't know if this is something that we can do, but it's just something to think about. It's a a great uh way to earn a lot of money in a short amount of time. [0:34:16, 0:34:19]: But it's the double good. I know you're tired of that popcorn. [0:34:19, 0:34:27]: But it is a great way to, you know, get those funds and maybe replenish the funds we use for those food supplies. [0:34:28, 0:34:29]: Just a thought. [0:34:30, 0:34:31]: It's not a bad idea. [0:34:32, 0:34:36]: To try to replenish Can we do things like that? Like we can do those type of fundraisers? [0:34:36, 0:34:38]: Yeah, we've done it before. [0:34:38, 0:34:45]: Okay. I just didn't we just had a conference here, but I think that's a great idea too. I've been seeing that fundraiser everywhere, but it is a great idea. [0:34:45, 0:34:51]: So we go ahead and make the purchase and then we do the the fundraiser to replenish those funds. [0:34:52, 0:34:58]: If you know to try to re replenish the fund. There's no guarantee, but it's at least to try to push to get those funds replenished. [0:34:59, 0:35:01]: I like that. Thank you, Miss Benita. [0:35:02, 0:35:11]: And I wouldn't mind spearheading that. I mean everyone Yes, absolutely. Once you set up your pop up, you send that link out. [0:35:11, 0:35:14]: that money will come in especially for the car. [0:35:15, 0:35:19]: Awesome. Is it um is it possible to um [0:35:19, 0:35:27]: Is it possible for us to use that fundraiser as a part of what we're doing? Like if we solidify what we need as far as the school supplies? [0:35:27, 0:35:37]: Is it possible for us to also use that money to try to gain money for the fam fest or no? Yes it is. We can determine what we use uh fun uh monies for. [0:35:38, 0:35:47]: So like if we did really good and we replenished our money, we could say, okay, this goes back into the youth council budget and then the rest goes towards this particular cause? Absolutely. [0:35:48, 0:35:50]: Okay. I I love that idea, Miss Benito. [0:35:55, 0:36:04]: So with that being said, um, if we haven't if we don't have any further comments, uh oh, we got Miss Sony. Go ahead, Miss Sony. [0:36:05, 0:36:07]: Or did we never lower your hand? [0:36:07, 0:36:16]: I'm sorry, I never lowered my hand. Okay. I gotcha. I help you. Okay. So with that being said, with the information that we have forth, would anybody like to make a motion? [0:36:24, 0:36:31]: Um, I move to buy the school supplies and then use the double good um fundraiser to replenish the money. [0:36:32, 0:36:33]: Can we determine an amount? [0:36:35, 0:36:36]: Um, you said a thousand? [0:36:37, 0:36:39]: I think a thousand is a good number. What do you guys think? [0:36:41, 0:36:43]: I think it's a good I agree. [0:36:43, 0:37:02]: I I I think a thousand is good too, but I want to pursue the um military sorority first. Okay. Um that's why I want to do that as soon as Eric come in, you can get that flyer and a proposal out to them. So hopefully they can give us that information like ASAP and vote on it so we can see if we can get it that way first. [0:37:02, 0:37:22]: Yeah, now we will wait. Yeah, I just want to go ahead and get it, you know, voted on. We'll wait. So, you know, if you guys, like I said, I'll get that flyer. We'll push it out. Even if we even if we waited a week um to make the purchase, we can still cause like I said, no, we haven't gotten any information. We haven't been able to push it to know how easy or how hard it's gonna be. So again. [0:37:22, 0:37:42]: Again, like all what we can do is go ahead and vote on that$1,000. And then we'll make sure we let you know, hey, this is how much we were able to get in this amount of time. And this is how much that we're gonna go ahead and spend, you know, to get the school supplies. So we'll we'll we'll make sure we do, you know, our due diligence and be due diligence and be good stewards over the funds as we you. [0:37:42, 0:37:44]: you know, being challenged to do so. [0:37:44, 0:37:48]: So we're so will we make a motion that we um [0:37:48, 0:38:01]: that we could purchase up to a thousand dollars just based off of the donations that we get or what information Renee comes back with. Yes. So if uh Naya can if you can add the up to a thousand dollars in your motion. [0:38:04, 0:38:08]: I move to buy the school supplies up to a thousand dollars. [0:38:08, 0:38:12]: And use the double good um fundraiser to replenish whatever we spent. [0:38:13, 0:38:14]: Thank you. [0:38:15, 0:38:16]: Anybody like to second that motion? [0:38:17, 0:38:19]: A second, uh I'll show me the second. [0:38:20, 0:38:25]: Okay, it's been moved and properly seconded. All in favor, say aye with your last name. [0:38:26, 0:38:27]: Uh Jones. [0:38:28, 0:38:29]: Okay. [0:38:34, 0:38:37]: I Jordane. I Adam. [0:38:40, 0:38:41]: I Williams. [0:38:45, 0:38:47]: And [0:38:50, 0:38:56]: Any uh all in favor with that's in favor, any upstair, uh any uh against it? [0:38:58, 0:38:59]: Any abstain? [0:39:01, 0:39:06]: Okay, um I have one, two, three, four, five, six, seven votes. [0:39:07, 0:39:10]: What and I have [0:39:11, 0:39:15]: 10 attendees. So we're missing three votes. [0:39:16, 0:39:20]: I got Zellers, I have Gordine, that's Randy. I didn't have Carter. [0:39:21, 0:39:23]: Darius. Yes. [0:39:24, 0:39:30]: Oh myself. So Carter and Darius, um can you tell me your your position? [0:39:32, 0:39:34]: For, against, or abstain? [0:39:36, 0:39:38]: I'm four. I'm sorry. [0:39:38, 0:39:39]: Thank you. [0:39:43, 0:39:44]: And Carter. [0:39:51, 0:39:54]: Pastor Carter, she said four, she texted. [0:39:54, 0:39:55]: Okay, thank you. [0:39:57, 0:40:09]: All right. So move the uh motion does carry unanimous. All right. So that's good with that. Um, we will stay in contact uh via crew and email so that um [0:40:10, 0:40:25]: You know, I'll make sure, you know, we know the the number amount that, you know, we have uh received. Um, I think Miss Uh Jones, if you're able to could you do like maybe like some type of scale, you know how they have like uh the goal and then we can kind of [0:40:25, 0:40:30]: uh increase the number so they can kind of show a visual of how much we've raised. [0:40:32, 0:40:40]: Do you think there's something? Uh-huh, like a temperature, like a thermostat or something to show you a goal for the um fill the bus? Yes, ma'am. All right. [0:40:41, 0:40:43]: All right. Thank you. You're welcome. [0:40:45, 0:40:50]: All right. So is there any other questions as it pertained to the fill the bus? [0:40:52, 0:40:58]: If we don't have any more questions, I can move on to FAMFS. [0:40:59, 0:41:19]: Oh, I will like to say oh is there is everyone available for feel the bus? That's a key because they're gonna need us, um, especially with the carnival, they're definitely gonna need our hands on um with this event. We're gonna be and we wanna be hands-on because we're pushing this heavy. Um, the feel the bus, making sure you know that it's a a good flow. [0:41:19, 0:41:21]: Um we'll probably [0:41:21, 0:41:27]: Actually, we need to talk about that now. Before we move on, let's talk about what that feel the bus looks like. [0:41:27, 0:41:34]: Are you asking for our availability on the Tuesday, the twelfth or the twenty the twenty bus the Tuesday? [0:41:36, 0:41:39]: That's a tasty. I plan to be um I plan to be there on the Tuesday. [0:41:41, 0:41:45]: And it's Tasty Tuesday, I believe starts at five o'clock. Is that right, Randy? [0:41:46, 0:41:51]: I think it's at from between from five thirty until eight, but [0:41:52, 0:41:57]: Let me check the schedule and I'll definitely let y'all know the exact time. But I think it's five thirty. [0:41:58, 0:42:00]: Randy, I believe you're correct. Five thirty to eight. [0:42:01, 0:42:10]: Okay. Um I'm also along with the um asking for the donation of the school supplies, I can also ask the sorority if they would like to um [0:42:11, 0:42:13]: Do some community service as well, volunteer. [0:42:13, 0:42:14]: That would be awesome. [0:42:15, 0:42:31]: They would love to get in the community and you know assist with that kind of stuff. So I'll uh we'll put both of that out, Erica, to them. Oh okay, thank you. Hey Erica, do you guys do um community service for students that may be rising seniors or need community service hours? Yes. [0:42:31, 0:42:47]: So would this be an um opportunity for that too on the 23rd? It will both both day any day that we have community service is open to um uh and they will receive uh certificates for community service for those hours that they were uh present. Okay, thank you. [0:42:47, 0:42:55]: We just have to submit those names to Miss Uh Randy Randy, our city liaison, and she makes sure she gets those certificates created. [0:42:55, 0:43:04]: Okay, and is it for any student in Henry County only or is it in the other county? No, I don't think it's just Henry County, any participants. Okay, thanks. [0:43:04, 0:43:04]: Sorry. [0:43:10, 0:43:10]: Two. [0:43:11, 0:43:14]: Oh okay, I'm with you. [0:43:15, 0:43:19]: Okay, cool. So um is there anybody that's not available on that Tuesday? [0:43:22, 0:43:24]: Let's do it that way. What if [0:43:25, 0:43:28]: This is uh Batita, I it's a maybe for me. [0:43:31, 0:43:35]: Can you can you tell us what time you would need us to be there on the Tuesday? [0:43:37, 0:43:49]: Like I know Taste of Tuesdays is at five, but like would we get there at five or would you need us prior to five? I want to like seats or what? Yeah, I would ask because I'm sure they're gonna need help with setup. [0:43:49, 0:43:59]: So um I'm not I know it's a Tuesday. We work. It is what it is. So anybody that's available to come earlier once they give us those designated times. [0:43:59, 0:44:19]: you know, we'll do that, but if not, we can only get there when we get there. So, you know, that's why I said that's why I'm asking now, you know, who's available and the the time so that I kind of have that mapped out when they do ask. Because the bus is going to be dropped off between three and four. Correct. Oh, it ain't we it with the youth being there, if we can get the youth there be if [0:44:19, 0:44:26]: If they want to put signs up on the Henry County bus or just have posters or something, it'll be good that they're there as well. [0:44:28, 0:44:29]: Earlier. [0:44:29, 0:44:30]: Sharika. [0:44:31, 0:44:31]: Yes, ma'am. [0:44:32, 0:44:35]: Do you mind jumping into the um [0:44:35, 0:44:46]: the crew with everybody and going ahead and formulate that message to ask the students to get started on posters and sign. Well, I guess they can't until we get the sponsors, huh? [0:44:48, 0:44:49]: The people that donate. [0:44:49, 0:44:50]: Um [0:44:50, 0:45:04]: I think they can s already do the posters as far as cause the posters you just want them to say feel the bus, right? Or um school supply drive, stock bridge, youth council, like random sayings, right? Not necessarily the sponsors, right? [0:45:05, 0:45:12]: Because the sponsors are all gonna be different people. Like the people giving donations are gonna be like individual people, right? You're right. [0:45:13, 0:45:18]: Um, because I know at first we were talking about putting the banner, the the sponsors on the bus. [0:45:18, 0:45:19]: But [0:45:20, 0:45:40]: Yeah, we can tell them to get at least get started with that. If we want to do sponsors, we can maybe we can do it on another side. Maybe we can, you know, maybe I don't know. Do you guys want to um present the sponsors on the bus? Oh, we're gonna, but my thing is if you're gonna do that, then that's gonna be, I mean, unless we get a big sponsor, like if Renee Sorority does it or we have [0:45:40, 0:45:57]: have something like that. But I mean, if we're talking about like individual, like my individual church members aren't going to be expected to be on the side of the bus. Right, right, right. But like I I believe that if we have someone like her sorority that's given a large donation, they can bring their own banner that they would like to hold. And then it could put them on the bus. [0:45:58, 0:46:01]: Yeah, so we okay we have a banner, so that'll be fine. [0:46:01, 0:46:20]: Yeah, so what we'll do is when we ask for these companies, if it's a company, we ask them if they have a banner, um, let them know that you know you can provide your banner and we'll hang it on the bus. That's how we'll work that out. And then so could go ahead and ask the students to start, you know, generate that message to ask them to start making uh posters and signs for the bus. [0:46:20, 0:46:22]: Okay. Thank you. [0:46:22, 0:46:23]: No problem. [0:46:25, 0:46:31]: Okay. So and Miss Benita said it's a maybe. So we'll come back around to you when it gets closer to time. [0:46:35, 0:46:55]: We also need to get the um hack out from the students as well. So uh if you can add that to it, just maybe start it there and add it to it. Uh if you still hear me, Miss Zellers. I will. I'm gonna add it in. I was going to. I got you. Thank you. Okay. So that is all we have for the back to school leave. [0:46:55, 0:47:15]: event. Well, that's what we have for Feel the Bus, the back to school event. Again, that's on the 23rd. Um, they're gonna need us again for that. Um, volunteerism, you know, a lot of hands on deck. So um Miss Um Gordine, if you have, if you would like, you can give them both opportunities. [0:47:15, 0:47:33]: So it may be somebody that's not available on the 12th, but they're available on the 23rd. So we can give them both opportunities to um do the community service. And that's anybody um on the call. If you are reaching out to people that are looking for community service hours, we can give them both dates so we can be pulling for both um events. [0:47:33, 0:47:39]: And that sounds good. So when I present it, I present both days to them. [0:47:39, 0:47:44]: Gotcha. Yes. Yes, ma'am. And um twenty third. [0:47:45, 0:47:56]: Now again, don't know what it looks like yet. We um at the first meeting we really only went over, you know, the basic the logistics of what we wanted to do, but the dates were not approved. So um [0:47:57, 0:48:17]: We again we haven't met since that original meeting and um they've been on uh no they just had a yesterday they were off for Juneteenth and Randy's getting caught up from she had a week off last week. So we're gonna let her, you know, they'll probably all reach out to Miss Kim and Brian, and then I'm sure they'll reach back out to Miss Randy to either, you know. [0:48:17, 0:48:18]: create an email thread. [0:48:19, 0:48:34]: Um, or create another meeting to get some of those details, hopefully no later than end of this week. So that'll be my request to at least get some kind of correspondence and um finalize information for both events by the end of this week. [0:48:35, 0:48:40]: Uh so we'll go ahead and move right along to Kejo Femme Fest. [0:48:41, 0:48:51]: Okay, so like I said, the current uh information that I just received is that they are asking for the twenty five hundred dollars to secure the um location. [0:48:52, 0:49:12]: Um they have a have already created that rental agreement that you guys remember they talked about. We are not gonna go into that meeting too much because it's in the past, but um we are um they were talking about that there wasn't a uh an agreement, there wasn't anything already created. Well, they have finally gone ahead. [0:49:12, 0:49:15]: ahead and created that um [0:49:15, 0:49:35]: that document for the rental agreement. So look at youth council still making moves in the community and and bettering our community, which is what we strive to do. So that form that form has been created and it has been sent out to Canton. However, I have a question and I think Randy you'll probably need to chime in on this question. [0:49:36, 0:49:39]: At the meeting. Do you are you here, Ms. Uh Rainey? [0:49:41, 0:49:48]: Yeah, I'm here. Okay. At the meeting, they stated that they approved the event and ten thousand dollars. [0:49:48, 0:49:58]: um based on the event, but it was contingent upon the contract. Has mayor and council seen the contract yet or the contract yet to approve it? [0:49:59, 0:50:06]: That I don't know. Um I can well they they're about to go out to Savannah this week for the annual conference. [0:50:07, 0:50:14]: But I'm gonna talk to the mayor tomorrow to see if he's seen the contract. I just know at the end of like the middle of last week. [0:50:15, 0:50:18]: Mr. Gardner, the city manager, sent me a copy of the contract. [0:50:19, 0:50:24]: So I I don't know if council's actually actually seeing the final [0:50:24, 0:50:44]: um documentation. Okay. So I know all of this. Well, with that being said, until we have an answer, you really can't move yet because their con their um approval was contingent upon that um contract. So actually Kenton shouldn't even have it yet because they haven't approved it. I don't think they've had another [0:50:44, 0:50:58]: meeting. And so all of this, all the money spent, we can't really do anything until they see that contract and they say, okay, now we give you the full 100% approval on the uh total event. [0:50:58, 0:50:59]: So [0:50:59, 0:51:10]: I guess we probably need to definitely wait on that twenty five hundred dollars because we can't make a purchase because the event has not been a hundred percent approved yet. [0:51:10, 0:51:12]: Does that make any sense? [0:51:12, 0:51:13]: I agree, yes. [0:51:14, 0:51:31]: Yeah, I don't want to move, you know, we got the we got the approval and we got, you know, they fought for us. So we wanna make sure that we do exactly, you know, what they said and how they said it so that we stay in their good graces. I don't wanna, you know, move prematurely. I don't wanna do anything against what they're asking us to do. So um [0:51:32, 0:51:38]: And so for me, that's why the twenty five hundred dollar ask is not one I'm I'm wanting to support right now. [0:51:39, 0:51:46]: Not right. Yeah. Not at this moment. Like I know I know that we the money will eventually have to be spent and I'm and I'm [0:51:46, 0:51:54]: A cognitive of that. However, I'm not okay with spending$2,500 and putting$2,500 out of our budget for. [0:51:54, 0:52:08]: If we don't know for sure that mayor and council have approved this contract because that is what our approval like our yes had a contingency. And I want to make sure that that contingency is fine before we put this money out because [0:52:08, 0:52:19]: What like where is it written that if it's not approved, we get our twenty five hundred dollars back? Yeah. I would we would need that in writing before I would be comfortable with voting for something to say put that much out. [0:52:20, 0:52:23]: Yep, I agree. Totally, totally agree. [0:52:26, 0:52:27]: And they have their hang up. [0:52:28, 0:52:29]: Who was that? [0:52:29, 0:52:47]: Renee, I agree with Sharika. Um, however, I is that something we can find out if we do put the money out there and get get the and we can recoup it? Because my fear is what if somebody else um try to get it for that that day? [0:52:48, 0:52:51]: And and people can be nasty, you know what I'm saying? [0:52:51, 0:53:00]: So I just fear that the issues that we went through that night, we just wanna make sure that we can preserve that date. [0:53:00, 0:53:20]: Because p I just I I'm an optimist and a pessimist, but it just depends on if I'm drinking the water or feeling the water in the glass. Now I you do you make a good point. Unfortunately, like you're right. You're right. I mean, we we were there, we heard the the the comments. And so yeah, there are some risks that we can run by not um [0:53:20, 0:53:40]: um securing that location or that date. However, since there is a contingency, maybe we can approve. Well, what we can do tonight, not to say that we want it done, but we can go ahead and vote to okay before we do that, and I don't want to do that right now, but we could go ahead and vote to accept that 25 [0:53:40, 0:53:42]: $500 expense. [0:53:42, 0:53:53]: um up on approval of mayor and council. And then that way our part is done. And when that's done, you know, they can go ahead and move forward and not wait on us have another meeting. [0:53:53, 0:53:55]: Does that make sense, guys? [0:53:55, 0:53:56]: Yes. [0:53:57, 0:54:15]: Now, another point I want to make is when we did the projected cost, we had carnival rides, signage, insurance, cleaning staff, security and uh policing, video and photographers awards and honors and tables, chairs, and linens. We did not have. [0:54:16, 0:54:20]: um amphitheater cost because it was in my head. [0:54:21, 0:54:31]: that if we are with the city just like the Merrill manders, we do not pay for the Merrill Manders. We've never paid for city buildings. So this is new. [0:54:31, 0:54:38]: Um, so that amount was not projected in our overall number with the cost. So [0:54:39, 0:54:42]: What are your concerns or suggestions as it pertains to that? [0:54:49, 0:54:51]: We were encouraged. [0:54:52, 0:54:54]: as the youth council to utilize the facility. [0:54:54, 0:54:56]: And that wasn't a cost associated with it then. [0:54:57, 0:55:11]: There wasn't. And the and there's never been. And so I guess you know what? I kinda wanna I kinda wanna table it now. And maybe we just have a special call because I kinda those are some questions we need to ask. Like [0:55:11, 0:55:20]: Is that a I I don't I don't ever recall uh using or paying for the Merrill or the Ted Strickland, like any. [0:55:20, 0:55:39]: city buildings. I saw it's kind of is that just the new standard? I kind of wanna and again, mayor and council hasn't seen this agreement. And so they may have the same concern. Like, whoa, so does that mean if I want to use it for a a council initiative, I have to pay twenty five hundred dollars? So [0:55:40, 0:55:47]: And maybe we need right that uh you said that policy, they got that policy done. Maybe it's something that's our they they put in the policy that we need to review. [0:55:49, 0:56:00]: Yeah, is that I'm gonna talk to Fred tomorrow and then we'll I'll give I'll give you guys some answers tomorrow after I talk to Mr. Gardner. Okay. Thank you so much. And that time already out to Kenton. [0:56:01, 0:56:03]: Or is that just the agreement for us? [0:56:08, 0:56:08]: Randy. [0:56:09, 0:56:10]: Sorry, I was trying to unmute. [0:56:11, 0:56:20]: Okay. That's the total agreement for the whole entire whoever wants to rent the um amphitheater out to my understanding. Okay. Okay. But it's not just because they have different tiers. [0:56:20, 0:56:23]: As far as um rental payments. [0:56:23, 0:56:27]: So it starts at two twenty five hundred and it ends at nine thousand. [0:56:27, 0:56:28]: Ooh. [0:56:28, 0:56:31]: But it's different type of um things that come with it. [0:56:31, 0:56:37]: So when I get to work tomorrow, I'll send you guys all the contracts in your individual emails. [0:56:38, 0:56:40]: So you can kind of look over it and see for yourself. [0:56:41, 0:56:42]: What how it's broken down. [0:56:43, 0:56:43]: Okay. [0:56:44, 0:57:03]: I think it's not necessarily, you know, that aspect as it pertains to, you know, how we feel about the agreement, as it is mayor and council saying, yes, this is the agreement. Yes, this is what we're, you know, because they we may vote yeah, and then, you know, it may not be something that they want to want in that agreement. So I guess we just need to. [0:57:04, 0:57:07]: I I definitely thought about that though would be [0:57:08, 0:57:15]: you know, my if if if I were probably in the seat of, you know, of mayor and council is [0:57:15, 0:57:27]: We also have to remember that when we've used the Merrill and when we've used the Strickland, we are just strictly using it the m for the most part, the youth council is only using that. [0:57:28, 0:57:44]: Yes, we are sometimes bringing people from the community in, but I would think that they would have a minimum cost that we would at least have to pay to use a venue of that size, only because those venues probably at least will have to have staff when we're there, don't you think? [0:57:45, 0:57:48]: Um straight line in the mirror. [0:57:48, 0:58:06]: So okay, well, and you're right about that. So with that being said, if that is staff, I'm wondering if if that part of staff will be like the cleaning or the event scene, like what is that twenty five hundred dollars covering? Because it could very well be something that's we're supposed to be covering as far as youth council's. [0:58:06, 0:58:07]: Um [0:58:08, 0:58:27]: Fee. So when it pertains to like security and policing and cleaning staff, is that$2,500 to say, okay, yes, you guys can use it and this is gonna cover this or what? So I guess we probably need a little bit of we don't really we need just more information on what the 25 would cover, not just like it's not 25 just to actually you to be inside of the venue. [0:58:27, 0:58:28]: Yeah. [0:58:29, 0:58:49]: Okay. Just because I'm thinking, I mean, a venue of that size, you know, like we're usually responsible for setting up the strickland, breaking down the strickland, make sure it's clean, make sure it's ready for like they don't typically send anybody in after us. I just don't see us being able to have something that size and of that magnitude. You talking about pop thousands of [0:58:49, 0:59:09]: people they we would have to bring people in to do certain things and I would think that there would be we would be charged to offset that cost or the total film fest would be charged to offset that cost. I mean and see that's why we just need more information on what's covered under each agreement. So it's it I would feel more comfortable. [0:59:09, 0:59:13]: And I know, you know, just to have to table this cost. [0:59:13, 0:59:19]: and you know be able to look at both agreements to see who's responsible for what before we agree to it. [0:59:20, 0:59:20]: Yeah. [0:59:25, 0:59:31]: I mean, unless we can think of a motion with a whole lot of contingencies so that we don't have to have the special call meeting. [0:59:34, 0:59:36]: I don't think there's no way around it. [0:59:36, 0:59:38]: We're gonna have to have a special cloud meter. [0:59:38, 0:59:39]: Okay. [0:59:40, 0:59:41]: Fine with me. [0:59:42, 1:00:00]: All right. So um we'll go ahead and um do does anybody have any questions as it pertains to um film fest and uh miss uh Williams I'll get you caught up. I'll send you over the um presentation and all that other good stuff. Um it's a lot of quite a bit of information. [1:00:00, 1:00:08]: But I'll make sure that you know I uh communicate with you and get you caught up on what Fan Fest is and how it works. All right, thank you. You're welcome. [1:00:11, 1:00:15]: Does anybody have any questions? Um, as it pertains to like um [1:00:15, 1:00:35]: the committees and things of that nature. We're what just waiting on um Kenton. He's still, you know, pulling things together, making sure all his ducks are in a row. And once he has, you know, a blueprint, he's gonna go ahead and, you know, come over to us and we'll probably have a joint meeting. Um from there, we'll start having branch out meetings with our committees in partnership. [1:00:35, 1:00:55]: with him. So we'll probably he'll probably have a committee that's a parking uh attendant committee. We'll make sure that we have somebody on that committee. So we want to make sure that the city and the youth council is represented on every committee so that we are, you know, in all in communication and we, you know, are able to uh clearly communicate um what we need to. [1:00:55, 1:01:15]: So that's how that's gonna work. But again, like I said, once he uh comes back around and he's ready to present us with the community uh the committees and the needs um for our um organization, I will make sure I get that over to you. Um, do you guys want that to be a separate meeting or do you want that to be in conjunction with uh one of our regularly scheduled meetings? [1:01:22, 1:01:26]: I think it depends on how if we have to make like immediate decisions. [1:01:28, 1:01:30]: Uh w what do you think? [1:01:31, 1:01:33]: 'Cause our next meeting is scheduled July nineteenth. [1:01:34, 1:01:34]: Right. [1:01:38, 1:01:46]: Unfortunately, we may have to have a special call meeting in order to even break up how we want that to look because July nineteenth is is really [1:01:47, 1:01:47]: Um [1:01:48, 1:01:49]: is pushing it. [1:01:50, 1:02:06]: Yeah, that's in between two events we got. Yeah, that's in between two events, and that's not gonna give us enough time to tease it out. And I would hate for us to break off in committees and make individual decisions with a with for a for an event of this magnitude, uh that like that only the committee people are making the [1:02:07, 1:02:11]: making the decisions. I would like the whole advisory to be in the loop of what's going on with this. [1:02:14, 1:02:18]: So even if we decide and then we say, okay, this is how we want to break it off. [1:02:18, 1:02:21]: I would at least like to know that we're all aware of how that's gonna go. [1:02:21, 1:02:24]: Because really the after we do the after [1:02:24, 1:02:25]: Do we break off? [1:02:25, 1:02:26]: Den [1:02:27, 1:02:34]: you can also you can start having those separate meetings because everybody will have individual tasks that come with their particular committees, right? [1:02:34, 1:02:35]: Mm-hmm. [1:02:36, 1:02:39]: So even if we have the one big meeting after we have [1:02:39, 1:02:44]: the one big meeting we would probably work with our group to come up with what those separate meetings would look like. [1:02:45, 1:02:49]: Because they would be a they would be a combination of the youth council. [1:02:49, 1:02:52]: The advisory and K Joe, right? [1:02:52, 1:02:53]: [3775.5, 3776.4]: That is correct. [1:02:57, 1:02:57]: Okay. [1:02:58, 1:03:11]: Um when you say this what are you what are you guys when you say the decisions and uh like voting, I don't think there's anything that we would need to vote on, but what are you speaking of on as it pertains to those? So I can just be clear. [1:03:13, 1:03:33]: So when you talk about the committees, what are you what are you talking about? You're saying that there wouldn't be anything that we would be responsible for like financially or anything like that. You're just talking about where we would be in place then? Correct. Yeah, that's not that. This is more so this meeting is to say, okay, these are the committees. So if you're gonna be on [1:03:33, 1:03:53]: the parking attendant committee, what that looks like. That attendant's gonna maybe uh create a map. Um they're gonna create a flow of what it looks like, what's gonna be blocked off, what they're gonna need. Like that's that's what that the committees are gonna do. So it's not necessarily something that we need to vote on because everybody, you know, those committees will just kind of create that flow. [1:03:53, 1:04:10]: And really it's the K Joe Film Fest. So I'm sure he has like something that he's generally done, but this is a new venue. So we'll probably have some it that's why it's good to have somebody on this side to make sure they may have a question and we can say, hey, let me check with, you know, city manager or Randy and get that question answered for you. [1:04:11, 1:04:12]: You see what I'm saying? [1:04:12, 1:04:19]: Mm-hmm. So that's why we want to make it. So basically when we have our meeting, what would happen is everybody who was in these individual [1:04:19, 1:04:25]: groups would pretty much be on the agenda and report back to the entire committee. Is that what you're saying? Yep. [1:04:25, 1:04:32]: Okay, then well that makes sense then if we can we can do it that way and then that way we can just report back at our regular meeting. [1:04:32, 1:04:34]: Right. So you wanna have one [1:04:37, 1:04:46]: Let's see. So you wanna have one overall where he comes and kind of tells us where he needs us and then come back and report back. [1:04:47, 1:05:05]: Yes, so like he can tell us where he needs us at. And then we can, you know, figure out where we need to be and that'll be fine. And then we'll all go to those individual meetings based off what he tells us he needs us. And then when we have our meeting, we will come back and we will be responsible for reporting to the larger group. [1:05:05, 1:05:08]: So you guys want me to add him to the July nineteenth? [1:05:09, 1:05:10]: calendar agenda. [1:05:11, 1:05:11]: Yes. [1:05:12, 1:05:15]: I would, but everybody else of course can speak their piece. Yes. [1:05:16, 1:05:17]: Oh ahead, let me know, guys. [1:05:18, 1:05:23]: Jul uh add Kenton Jones to a new business on July nineteenth. [1:05:24, 1:05:27]: Shamika agrees. Thank you. [1:05:27, 1:05:29]: Yes, yes, that's fine. [1:05:32, 1:05:40]: Does anybody have any other suggestions or you know feel like that's you know there's a better solution? I like that um idea though, Ms. Sharika. [1:05:43, 1:05:44]: Okay. [1:05:44, 1:05:51]: Or if there's none, I'll go ahead and make sure I send him an invite um to the meeting and let him know that we, you know, we're requesting his. [1:05:52, 1:06:08]: presence at that meeting and um actually it's mandatory. We'll definitely need him there just for the sake of time so we can get the ball moving and get, you know, get with our committees. I don't want to wait a whole you know more than a month to really, you know, start communicating and getting that work done. [1:06:09, 1:06:18]: So if there's no other questions and we're tabling the 2500, we can go ahead and move down to item number three, which is the Dublin Symposium. [1:06:19, 1:06:35]: This is another um item that we uh talked about off the record. So I just kind of want to, you know, put it on the record and go ahead and put a vote down so that it can be properly documented. We talked about Dublin. Dublin um is having their symposium. [1:06:36, 1:06:48]: On the same week. Well actually there it's the t do you have the dates, uh Randy? I think it's the 23rd of October, if I'm not mistaken. I think it's 23rd as well. I can yeah, but hold on. [1:06:49, 1:06:51]: Fifth if I'm not yeah, I think those are the dates. [1:06:52, 1:06:52]: Um [1:06:53, 1:07:13]: It wasn't budgeted. Um, they didn't give us the information in enough time. Um, when you have something like that, you kind of, you know, all the youth councils are budgeting for these events and we didn't get the opportunity to budget for the Dublin Symposium. It's very unfortunate because I would have loved to get our students to um go to that symposium. [1:07:13, 1:07:33]: It's is really a lost opportunity to me. But it's just really no way of making that decision unless anybody has any other suggestions. But as far as finance is concerned and just kind of planning it out with everything we already have going on, I personally don't think it's a good idea to try to get to Dublin. [1:07:33, 1:07:36]: But I want to hear your guys' um input. [1:07:37, 1:07:38]: I agree. Um [1:07:39, 1:07:42]: Miss Harvey. We're not I don't I think it's gonna be too much. [1:07:42, 1:07:42]: Yeah. [1:07:43, 1:07:49]: Even if we had the money, it's just too much of a ask because you still are gonna have to have [1:07:49, 1:07:57]: Randy's gonna have to go down there. At least one or two people from the advisory council are gonna have to go down there. It's gonna require overnight stay. [1:07:57, 1:08:03]: Like it's a I I think that's a heavy ass with all that we're gonna be tasked with in July and October. [1:08:04, 1:08:24]: And we don't have any um information. We really only have a save the day. So we don't, even though I know how Dublin, like they're a really good organization, very structured, we still don't have any information about it. And we're in June, July, August, September, October. It's four months away and we don't have any information. So it's kind of hard to make a decision. [1:08:24, 1:08:25]: Will [1:08:25, 1:08:29]: Not really. It makes the decision e that, you know, easier. Um [1:08:29, 1:08:44]: I just think that it's going to be a missed opportunity. Um, the symposiums are always awesome. Well, we had the first symposium and it was amazing. It was so amazing. And Dublin is trying to try so hard to top ours. That's why I know it's gonna be amazing. [1:08:44, 1:08:47]: Um and the students love the symposiums, you know, but [1:08:48, 1:08:51]: It's just it this is just one that we just I just don't see how we can make it work. [1:08:56, 1:09:06]: Any other suggestions? If not, then somebody can go ahead and make a a motion to um make the um well actually it wasn't on the calendar, so we don't even have to vote. It's just a decision. [1:09:07, 1:09:07]: Thank you. [1:09:07, 1:09:12]: Dublin wasn't on the on the calendar. So we don't have to vote to remove it because it was never there. [1:09:13, 1:09:17]: It was discussed upon, but there was no vote. It was never added. [1:09:17, 1:09:23]: So that old business, let's run over to new business. Um [1:09:23, 1:09:30]: The Stockbridge Youth Council has requested that we fill the seats for um [1:09:30, 1:09:47]: I know we all talked about like let's take the break, let's take the summer off, let's stick to what we said we were gonna do and do it in July, in January. But um they're looking at their calendar and they're looking at this huge event and they're saying, hey, we need to fill these seats. Um [1:09:47, 1:10:07]: We can't do this with the people that we have left. And we really are hoping that you guys can just go ahead and fill those seats so we have more students. Um after talking with them, I also talked to Ms. Jones and um we kind of had an idea of maybe maybe we can change the bylaws and make it to where we're doing it like the advisor. [1:10:07, 1:10:27]: We used to know how like uh we raws left and we fill the vacant seats. Um maybe we can and we don't have to, but if we need to, we can add that to the bylaw where we we've already done it where the um applications are open at all times. At first it was just they're only open for these months and it's closed and you can't put in the application. [1:10:27, 1:10:33]: So we're always getting applications in year round. It's more so um [1:10:33, 1:10:39]: How do we put in that um standard of filling the seats as they become vacant or when it's needed? [1:10:42, 1:10:46]: So I would like you guys' input on that item. [1:10:52, 1:10:54]: The request. I have a question. [1:10:55, 1:10:55]: Mm-hmm. [1:10:56, 1:10:57]: So if we [1:10:58, 1:11:10]: If we are going to do that, I guess my question is, are we going to interview students as the application come in and then already have an idea who we want to put in the seat because [1:11:10, 1:11:16]: How we feel and how they feel are two different things because we don't necessarily get interviewed, we are appointed. [1:11:16, 1:11:21]: So my question is, how is that going to look like? What is the thought process? [1:11:21, 1:11:23]: If we're constantly getting in applications. [1:11:23, 1:11:29]: Or we constantly gonna have a time when we get five in and we interview students. How's that gonna look? [1:11:30, 1:11:50]: I would like to create a committee uh for um recruitment and for new members. And that way that committee would pretty much be responsible for just keeping the board abrupt on what's going on, what applications are in. If we have like, hey, we got about three we we may not need, but we have to uh [1:11:50, 1:12:10]: open time if we want to add to the agenda to like interview them so that at least we know what we have to pull from. They can create that um what that looks like since we don't already have it. We can formulate a board that is over membership and you know let them kind of spearhead that that that's my idea. [1:12:10, 1:12:20]: to kind of make it to where the whole entire board doesn't have to, but they can kind of report back to us and then we can do the overall um interview process like we've always done. [1:12:25, 1:12:30]: And if so, would anybody like to um spearhead the membership committee? [1:12:33, 1:12:34]: If you guys wanna do [1:12:35, 1:12:48]: Erica, I um this is Renee. I I do a lot of um interviewing and vetting at my um in my department. So I would like to be on the committee um spearheaded if you need that as well. [1:12:49, 1:12:50]: Actually. [1:12:51, 1:12:57]: I can help with that if you want me to, but um I just also wanted to add that we were talking about that on Monday. [1:12:57, 1:13:04]: And Zipporah asked to be included on that committee, Ms. Renee, um, to represent the youth council if y'all are okay with that. [1:13:05, 1:13:25]: Um that I mean that's fine with me. Um, I guess we have to see how Erica, you know, wants to. I'm I'm sure she's gonna get get our input as well. And I think that youth council is is gonna be a huge key factor. And this is what I was sharing with them. We're getting applications, they go to school with these students, and so they're gonna get the real [1:13:25, 1:13:45]: you know of the students. So it's going to be very important that we pull them in so that we can kind of get to know both sides. We get to because sometimes these uh applicants, their parents are filling this thing at these applications out and we're like, ooh, that's good. You know, but we need to know who these students are. And everybody, you know, we we're good at presenting ourselves. [1:13:44, 1:14:04]: at interviews and things of that nature. But for these key, you know, for the students to actually go to school with them and interact with them, I think that their input is going to weigh a lot. So I really would like for there to be a good number of youth counsel on the membership committee as well. So if we have already Ms. Gordine and Ms. Zellers, I think that's good. [1:14:04, 1:14:11]: from the advisory and then we get at least two to three from the youth council and just kind of go from there. I think that's a strong committee. [1:14:15, 1:14:25]: Okay, and we can ask whoever you know, Mikhaila has already been a part. Mikaila was a part of a lot of their interviews already. So I was assuming that Mikaila would probably continue to be a part. [1:14:25, 1:14:45]: It's part of their interviews and she's the mayor. And I was just thinking about since Mikhaila already represents one school and then Zipporah represents another school. And then but Mikhaila and then Zipporah being the youth city manager kind of makes sense because she kind of does, you know, what Macy was previously doing. So I was thinking [1:14:45, 1:14:50]: both of them would be a part of it. And if you could think of anybody else, then that would be cool too. But [1:14:50, 1:14:54]: With her being a senior, you know, Mikhaila's a senior. [1:14:54, 1:15:00]: And then we would still have Zapporo there to continue into that next year. And we can also add another person as well too. [1:15:01, 1:15:21]: I say I like that and I say Sky. And the reason I say Sky because she goes to Dutchtown. So now you have another person with an they represent another school. And she's actually the only person, Skye and Simone, which we have to talk about Simone, but we'll talk about that it on the next item. But um Sky and Simone are the only two that go to Dutchtown. [1:15:21, 1:15:41]: So I think if we go ahead and say yes, let's go ahead and make the decision to say our youth youth mayor, Mikhaila McCowan, Zapora and uh Barnes and Sky White will ask them to be on that committee. I think they will all say yes. And I think they will all be really good in that position. And the three different students with totally different personalities and [1:15:41, 1:15:44]: I think that's a good representation of of different perspectives too. [1:15:45, 1:16:05]: I think so too. And there um I know Sky's in a lot of other things, not just school, but she's in uh Jack and Jill and you know a lot of stuff. She's a senior too, so she's very mature, um, very well spoken. So I think she's great. I think Zipporah is ready to, you know, hit the ball rolling. She I think she wants to be mayor, uh youth mayor next year, so she's really learning the [1:16:05, 1:16:15]: ropes. So I think these are some really good um candidates as it pertains to the membership committee. So I'm really, really hopeful that you know, I actually feel really good about that committee. [1:16:15, 1:16:17]: the the decisions. [1:16:18, 1:16:36]: So with that being said, what are we going to vote to to um accept their request to fill those seats? Um another question. Erica, just one more thing. Um, Ms. Hall, RV also wanted to be on that committee. She didn't mention it, so I didn't want to leave her name out. [1:16:36, 1:16:41]: being that she's not here. So just, you know, a little tit and a hat so we can um [1:16:42, 1:16:45]: You know, I didn't want to leave her name out'cause I know she did mention. [1:16:48, 1:16:49]: Okay, thank you. [1:16:51, 1:16:58]: We we would need to review that those bylaws and have that and have the bylaws changed. [1:16:58, 1:16:59]: Correct. [1:17:00, 1:17:08]: Um well the bylaw, what is let me see where the bylaws. Is there anything that says that we can't um that we only take students? [1:17:08, 1:17:10]: Let me pull those up. Give me just a second. [1:17:21, 1:17:34]: It can't be because we bought students in at different times every time. So there's nothing in our bylaws that says we can't. It's just however it is considering it on a need basis, but it hasn't been [1:17:34, 1:17:40]: Um, but there's nothing that blocks us from doing it that way. Now, if we wanna elaborate, I think we can. [1:17:40, 1:18:00]: I think we can add it to just for, but then you're right. There's nothing that's blocking us, but I do think for the sake of just having it black and white, that we do add it to the bylaws. So that would be the vote for tonight to add that. Um add it up that the vote would be to add it to the bylaws, uh, the terminology um of what that looks like. [1:18:00, 1:18:03]: looks like and then also accept the request to fill the seats. [1:18:06, 1:18:09]: And so we can actually make that motion together. [1:18:09, 1:18:16]: But I'm looking at the bylaws and it doesn't I there's nothing here that blocks us from accepting students at this time. [1:18:24, 1:18:28]: And so you want a motion that we update our bylaws? Um [1:18:28, 1:18:47]: to include up um accepting students on an as needed basis? Is that what you're asking us? Okay. So I make a motion that we um that we update our bylaws to um add students to the youth council on an as needed basis and that we also accept the um [1:18:47, 1:18:50]: The students request to fill those seats. [1:18:51, 1:18:52]: Thank you, Shirika. [1:18:54, 1:18:56]: Motion by Sharika, do we have a second? [1:18:59, 1:19:06]: A second Carter. Second by Carter. It's been moved and properly second. All in favor. Aye with last name. [1:19:06, 1:19:07]: Jones asked. [1:19:09, 1:19:12]: Or the guy. I can drink. [1:19:13, 1:19:14]: Darius. I thought [1:19:16, 1:19:20]: Adam's eye. Therika, can you repeat the last part of that? [1:19:22, 1:19:27]: Um, to accept the students request that it was the student's request to fill those vacant seats. [1:19:30, 1:19:31]: Got it. Thank you. [1:19:31, 1:19:32]: Niet my bummer. [1:19:32, 1:19:33]: Any opposed. [1:19:37, 1:19:38]: Any abstain. [1:19:41, 1:19:48]: Do we had do we get all of those? Do we have Carter, Pierre Foy, Kendricks, Williams, Adams? [1:19:48, 1:19:51]: Gordines, Zellers, Sudden Jones. [1:19:51, 1:19:57]: Williams is gonna abstain from this one. I don't have enough information, so I'd just rather abstain. Okay, thank you. [1:19:57, 1:19:58]: Okay. [1:19:59, 1:20:00]: Yeah. [1:20:01, 1:20:06]: All right. Um coming out of the bylaws. Let me go back to my agenda. [1:20:14, 1:20:22]: Okay, so that's done. So I think we're pretty much done. If we don't have any more questions about the um uh the request. [1:20:22, 1:20:25]: Ms. Adams, do we have an attendance report? [1:20:28, 1:20:32]: Um, I do not necessarily have a report. [1:20:33, 1:20:38]: Um I should have gotten with you. I don't, I'm just being honest. Okay. [1:20:38, 1:20:56]: Well, is there anything I can do like while you all are talking about something else? Um, well, so as it pertains to the attendance report, I'm being honest, I think that we're good as far as advisory. Um, so there isn't anything pressing, but if you can get that to me, so I can go ahead and you know send it out via email to all the count um. [1:20:57, 1:21:10]: advisory members just so that we know what you know our standing is. Um the advisory is fine. There is an issue on the Stockbridge Youth Council as it pertains to attendance and that's with um [1:21:10, 1:21:19]: One of our students, and I, you know, I won't say any names. We would uh definitely need to go into um executive sessions for that, but we do have a um [1:21:20, 1:21:25]: A student that is not active and it's one of our doors. [1:21:26, 1:21:38]: And the the the Stockbridge Youth Council is concerned. They're like, Miss Harvey, Miss Jones, Ms. Zellers, you know, they're coming to us and they're like, what's going on with this after this this member? [1:21:39, 1:21:44]: You know, this member's not at anything, um, not very present in crew. [1:21:45, 1:21:48]: what's going on. So I'm gonna go ahead and um [1:21:49, 1:21:59]: you know, kind of put that on the table and and see, you know, what what you guys do you guys think we need to go into exec executive sessions to discuss that after the meeting or like how do you guys want to? [1:22:00, 1:22:04]: deal with that because I'm I'm thinking we all pretty much know the who. [1:22:04, 1:22:07]: Well probably not maybe not uh Williams, but [1:22:08, 1:22:17]: If you guys want to go into executive session so that we're not on a recorded line and after the meeting, we can do that and then vote on what to do. So I just want to give you your options. [1:22:18, 1:22:25]: Um Erica, just just a question and this is um Gordine. Had we reached out to that member and see if it I [1:22:26, 1:22:38]: They've tried. Well I I've been told that the the youth council because I'm trying to give, you know, her the opportunity to, you know, kind of get acclimated. I mean, when you're a new student, sometimes it takes a minute to, you know, [1:22:39, 1:22:48]: um, you know, kind of get comfortable. And that's what I told them. They were like, she doesn't seem interested in anything except for being a member. Like [1:22:48, 1:22:51]: really doesn't want to do anything but be a member. [1:22:51, 1:22:52]: Uh [1:22:53, 1:22:55]: That that's the feedback that I've received from S Y C. [1:22:56, 1:23:05]: Is it something that maybe one of the advisory council can, you know, reach out and talk to her, speak to her and see, you know, where she is, maybe speak to the parent? [1:23:05, 1:23:11]: Um, I think that someone from the membership committee could do that. Do you guys think that's something that you would like to do? [1:23:12, 1:23:20]: Yeah, I just know some kids have issues with other things going on and maybe we should just reach out maybe once just to [1:23:20, 1:23:33]: Clarifying. Give them give them a hand if they need some assistance. So they may not be so adverse to talking to their um peers. Because it may be something that they don't want to share with the yeah, you you're that exactly. [1:23:33, 1:23:46]: Okay, well I think that's a good start. Um, so what we'll do is kind of um I'll share with uh you and uh Ms. Zellers the name of the student off the record and you guys kind of reach out and you know kind of go from there. [1:23:49, 1:24:09]: Sounds good. All right. So that's really all we have for attendance report. Um, I would like to um point out that we have a total of right now nine SYC members. So we would need one, two, six. Yes. Is it what their board is fifteen, right? We're twelve, they're fifteen. [1:24:09, 1:24:10]: But six seats available. [1:24:12, 1:24:16]: Um Miss uh Rainey, do you know how many applications we have on file? [1:24:23, 1:24:28]: For the youth, none at the moment. They just filled the advisory committee, but no youth to my knowledge. [1:24:29, 1:24:30]: Not new ones. [1:24:32, 1:24:32]: Mm-hmm. [1:24:33, 1:24:35]: I thought we had two. [1:24:36, 1:24:43]: I thought we had two and I know one pending which was Kenton's daughter. She called and asked for some a quick. [1:24:43, 1:24:45]: What's her name? [1:24:45, 1:24:47]: Uh her name is Love Jones. [1:24:49, 1:24:53]: Uh I don't recall seeing a application been submitted through seamless. [1:24:53, 1:25:05]: Um,'cause all the applications go through seamless docs and then that's when I'll like save it and send it to you guys. But I can double check tomorrow. But from my understanding tomorrow, but I thought there were two [1:25:06, 1:25:10]: Um, a boy and a girl. I'm trying to think of the name of the [1:25:11, 1:25:18]: Um the boy is Leighton Vaughn. Leighton, yeah. And then the girl is, oh my gosh, it's like right there. [1:25:18, 1:25:20]: But yeah, I think there's at least two. [1:25:20, 1:25:20]: So [1:25:21, 1:25:34]: Um and then the pending three. So that's just information for you guys. And um again, like you guys can report back. I think we should definitely have them in. Maybe we can kind of it's a process. Are you guys familiar with our um? [1:25:35, 1:25:38]: process as it pertains to the youth council. [1:25:40, 1:25:42]: Bringing them in. No mail. [1:25:42, 1:25:48]: Not not familiar. And I know I'm kind of going back a little bit, but let me share a little bit um about how that works. [1:25:49, 1:25:58]: So what we generally do is we get up we get all the applications. J uh we'll first we'll do uh a campaign. We'll go out and let everybody know we're looking for members. [1:25:58, 1:26:09]: Um and we'll wait on the applications to come in. Um, I myself generally, and I'll hand this over to the um membership committee, will take some um flyers and I'll take some um [1:26:10, 1:26:30]: applications to all of the schools and I give them to the um the counselors at the school so that they can you know uh share the information over the intercom and they also sometimes the counselors know what students would be a good fit. So that's usually I say if you know a student that's a really good fit for this program, you know, you know [1:26:29, 1:26:39]: personally provide give this um application to them because they usually, you know, have really good um idea of who who they have in their schools. So that's what I'll do. [1:26:40, 1:27:00]: We put it on our social media platforms and then we pull in all the applications. We'll create a deadline on where we want to, you know, stop accepting applications. After we after that deadline, um advisory will come together and we kind of look over the applications and and then conduct interviews. Or we can send them out. I I think there's a different [1:27:00, 1:27:10]: um policy as it pertains to the application. So I'll get with uh Randy and Miss Holliday on that to make sure there's no changes. But we kind of look them over and then we interview them. [1:27:10, 1:27:27]: We can do it in person. We we've been doing it over um via Zoom, but I think in personal beats it it's always so much better. But we'll go down in the Levi room and we do interviews. Sometimes we do it in groups. Sometimes you know, we um we've had it where we one time we kind of did a round table. So we had um [1:27:27, 1:27:33]: a couple of people and then we will have say for instance I'll say Mikaila. So Mikaila will go from [1:27:33, 1:27:53]: me and then they'll go to another like two advisory members and they'll come around to a couple more advisory more members and ask different questions so that we all have the opportunity to get a feel for this you know that particular person with a different question. I love that um the way we did it that time out of all the other times because again like I said it gives us all [1:27:53, 1:28:10]: the opportunity to at least, you know, be able to interact with and and um each one of the applicants. And so after that we come back around after we've interviewed everybody and then we'll talk about the applicants and then we vote on who we want to bring in and then we'll let, you know, Randy and um [1:28:10, 1:28:14]: the clerk's department do the rest as far as, you know, getting them sworn in. [1:28:15, 1:28:16]: So that is our process. [1:28:20, 1:28:22]: Does anybody have any questions on the process? [1:28:24, 1:28:44]: Any questions? All right. So we can go ahead and jump back on track to our calendar, which is our June quarterly report. Um, Miss Jones, do you have anything ready for us? I know you sent something to me earlier and I briefly looked over it, but again, I had a crazy morning, so I wasn't able to, you know, really dig into that. But are you ready to? [1:28:45, 1:28:55]: Um that's I mean that's exactly what I have to share. Um I can I can share that that presentation and just fill in um the rest of the information that um [1:28:55, 1:29:15]: I'm requesting to finish it up before I send it back over for you to look over you and Miss Sharika. We can kind of clean it up a little bit and have it prepared for Mayor and Council when it's due next month. Am I able to share my screen? Yep. I just made you the host. So you should be able to go ahead. [1:29:15, 1:29:16]: Didn't share your screen now. [1:29:16, 1:29:19]: Okay, let me get this way. [1:29:25, 1:29:30]: This is actually flowing pretty. It's not gonna take that long. We still got calendar. [1:29:30, 1:29:31]: So [1:29:31, 1:29:42]: Okay, um so everyone, I am sharing my screen. I'm sharing the um draft version of our um quarterly report. Um [1:29:44, 1:29:45]: Let me put this in. [1:29:49, 1:30:05]: So we have our mission statement here. I'm not going to read through all that, but that's our mission. And once the report is finalized and approved, we will I'll be sure to send it out so that everyone else, everyone on the advisory board will have it. We have our vision listed. [1:30:06, 1:30:24]: Um, we have our purpose. Um, and this is information that I gathered from our team building um retreat and just utilize some of the same verbiage to put here, um, just to re-emphasize we're here um as a council to educate, impact, bring about awareness and exposure. [1:30:26, 1:30:26]: Um [1:30:27, 1:30:36]: Same as for our um advisory. The first one, um, oh I need I'm glad I saw that I need to modify this and just make this for the council and remove uh [1:30:37, 1:30:37]: Mm. [1:30:38, 1:30:39]: advisory. [1:30:43, 1:30:43]: Uh [1:30:44, 1:30:48]: And then this would be ours as the advisory council. [1:30:48, 1:30:49]: Our purpose [1:30:50, 1:30:51]: as committee. [1:30:51, 1:30:53]: And then I have a um [1:30:53, 1:31:01]: Org chart. So as you can see on the org chart, this is our youth council. Um, at this time, the gold stars are representing our seniors. [1:31:01, 1:31:04]: Um and this is also the keep and um [1:31:04, 1:31:11]: Keep in mind for when the mayor council sees as they're aware that we have four seniors that are gonna be leaving us come next um. [1:31:12, 1:31:16]: next year next school term and this lists all of the additional um [1:31:17, 1:31:22]: Students ought to be left behind and then those four vacant seats that we have to fill. [1:31:23, 1:31:24]: So Miss Um [1:31:25, 1:31:26]: Саме щоміка. [1:31:26, 1:31:27]: Yes. [1:31:27, 1:31:28]: Um [1:31:28, 1:31:30]: You're gonna have to switch out. [1:31:30, 1:31:32]: За поран Три. [1:31:33, 1:31:42]: So like Trey is the parliamentarian and Zapor is the um I'm sorry, hold on, let me my dog uh Okay. [1:31:45, 1:31:46]: What [1:31:48, 1:31:49]: Okay, gotcha. [1:31:51, 1:31:52]: I don't get a lead. [1:31:55, 1:31:59]: I apologize for that interruption. You say so Trey is um. [1:32:00, 1:32:03]: Trading a problem material. Yes, ma'am. [1:32:04, 1:32:06]: And Zapor is the youth city manager. [1:32:07, 1:32:09]: It's a four, okay. [1:32:09, 1:32:10]: Uh [1:32:10, 1:32:12]: And Skye is the secretary. [1:32:14, 1:32:18]: It's Casa Secretary. Yes, ma'am. [1:32:21, 1:32:23]: And who's our youth clerk then? We don't have a clerk. [1:32:24, 1:32:25]: No male. [1:32:25, 1:32:26]: All right. [1:32:27, 1:32:28]: So that is vacant. [1:32:29, 1:32:43]: So like our youth youth clerk isn't really a role. No, it is no. The youth clerk is the secretary. She's not gonna call her instead. Yeah, it's not because it's not called secretary. It's called uh secretary. I didn't I didn't see her um I hadn't seen that anywhere else. Okay. [1:32:44, 1:32:57]: Okay, so that's good. So Sky, so that is good. Okay. I just need to switch out support and tray. So with that being with her being the youth city manager, how what is this other role? Was the youth um [1:32:57, 1:33:00]: Public use public service officer. Is that still a role? [1:33:01, 1:33:05]: P I O, that's still Trey. He said that he could con continue that role as well. [1:33:06, 1:33:06]: So [1:33:07, 1:33:08]: Okay. [1:33:09, 1:33:12]: I'll update that so Trey is gonna be voluntary and [1:33:12, 1:33:13]: Youth. [1:33:13, 1:33:15]: Public service. [1:33:17, 1:33:24]: All right. Any other updates you see that I need to make for this board chart for the um youth council? [1:33:25, 1:33:26]: I don't see any. [1:33:26, 1:33:30]: All right, thank you all for that um feedback. And here is our org chart. [1:33:31, 1:33:32]: Um [1:33:32, 1:33:42]: We do not have a parliamentarian. I don't believe anyone has stepped in. It's it's Renee. Okay, so Renee. [1:33:42, 1:33:43]: I will update that. [1:33:44, 1:33:45]: And then um [1:33:46, 1:33:58]: Miss Benita, are you gonna you're saying you don't think you're gonna um maintain the stay in the role as secretary? That's why I had you as interim. I believe that was what you said at our last special meeting. [1:34:00, 1:34:03]: I'll hang in there until someone else steps up. [1:34:04, 1:34:06]: Kids Williams cricket cricket. [1:34:06, 1:34:08]: [5649.8, 5655.5]: Yes, but yes to answer your question, Ms. Jones, until it's filled. Okay, thank you. So [1:34:16, 1:34:36]: I would like for you to know we are looking for someone to fill the role for our secretary. Um, we can talk to you off the record to kind of get fill you in on some of you know the roles and responsibilities of the secretary of the youth council, but we're really needing it. So I would like for you to, you know, consider it and we'll talk about that too once you know when I talk to you about FEMFEST I'll. [1:34:36, 1:34:38]: kind of give you some of the information on that as well. [1:34:41, 1:34:47]: Thank you, Ms. Um Harvey. Um so what I did, I I I did a demarcation for the um [1:34:48, 1:34:59]: council lead our youth council advisory council leadership and then our members at large. So um I took from my notes and if I need to modify update something, please let me know. So I know out um [1:35:00, 1:35:18]: remove you from here, Miss Renee. Um you are the parliamentarian. I have Miss Um Hall as our parent liaison. I have Miss Sutton as our youth council youth liaison. And I there was another role that we could we were we were um discussing the the partners coordinator. I I got that out of our um [1:35:19, 1:35:22]: paperwork or other um report from the um [1:35:23, 1:35:41]: From the retreat. Is that something? Is that still a role that we wanna uh yeah, we we really wanna feel that's something that's needed. Don't have it there, but we can always keep it open, you know. And so ready to step into that role as well. And you look, Miss Tony, I already got you added. Look at that, you already don't care. [1:35:41, 1:36:00]: Thank you. All right. So um I will make those updates um regarding um our parliamentarian. Any other changes I need to make before I move on? Um I will only say that for for us, this is good to have both the youth council and the advisory, but when we submit to mayor and council, they're only looking for the SYC report. [1:36:01, 1:36:02]: Okay, gotcha. [1:36:04, 1:36:07]: So don't don't uh don't put don't include the um org charts. [1:36:07, 1:36:22]: Um well no you can include it for the SYC. For uh that's why I said just kind of break it up for us. This is great. But when we do it to submit it to um mayor and council, they're out they're only looking for the youth council, not the advisory council. Okay. [1:36:23, 1:36:24]: And make at um [1:36:26, 1:36:28]: All right. Thank you. [1:36:28, 1:36:32]: Um so then I'm going into what we've done the second quarter. [1:36:33, 1:36:46]: And I've highlighted the things that we've done since um April. We did our SYC team building retreat, um April the 29th to the 30th. On the 11th of May, we had our um senior banquet. [1:36:46, 1:36:53]: Um on May 17th, we had our prevision with the city of Stockbridge. [1:36:53, 1:36:58]: On May thirty first, we participated and supported the um [1:36:58, 1:37:06]: Police Department, the Stockbridge Police Department swearing in on June the 11th. Um, we supported the um public safety event. [1:37:06, 1:37:13]: And then we on the 13th, we presented the Kejo Fam Fest um proposal before May and Council on the 13th. [1:37:14, 1:37:19]: Are there any other items that you all would like for me to highlight in for the second quarter? [1:37:21, 1:37:41]: I don't see anything, but I would like to stop right there and like give everybody a round of applause because this is this is really good. Like this is a lot of work in one quarter, and this is really impactful work. Like what I'm looking at right now and it's very impressive. And you guys, I mean, couldn't do it without you guys, and we couldn't do it with an amazing team. [1:37:40, 1:38:00]: an amazing youth council. So hats off to the advisory committee because this is this this is this says a lot. And coming from, you know, it took a lot to build to get us to this point to where we're having these events and they're effortlessly. And I mean this this makes me happy to see that we're doing this much work. And it's such a variety of [1:38:00, 1:38:16]: of things. It's not just, you know, you know, just we're doing something just to be doing it. This is really great impactful work. So hats off to everyone putting forth the work. I love this. I love this too. I would only want to add, Miss Shamika, our road cleanups. [1:38:17, 1:38:28]: Oh, beautification. Our beautification still. I think I have a picture of the beautiful did I have I did capture beautification here, but I I think so maybe I need to just do something else that says um. [1:38:29, 1:38:32]: Okay, I I I'll add because [1:38:33, 1:38:36]: Let's let's create another slide for beautification. Okay. [1:38:38, 1:38:58]: Because they have a monthly. So I feel like that might clutter that one. Unless you want to do like small bubble. I I still think it might clutter. But I mean, it can definitely be in another like it could other it could also be in another slide and maybe you can um, you know, I mean, I just I just didn't wanna, you know, take that off because I just I just need to go back to I need to make sure I get all [1:38:58, 1:39:03]: the dates. Do we have um for record the dates that we did be vacations for second quarter? [1:39:03, 1:39:05]: We do and I will I will send them to you. [1:39:06, 1:39:06]: Okay. [1:39:07, 1:39:08]: Thank you, Ms. Harvey. [1:39:10, 1:39:12]: And you guys look good. These pictures look good. Mm-hmm. [1:39:13, 1:39:13]: Mm-hmm. [1:39:14, 1:39:19]: I mean look at all that look at all the attendance. Like seriously. This looks amazing. [1:39:20, 1:39:21]: All right. [1:39:21, 1:39:25]: I'll create another slide to add for our um to um [1:39:25, 1:39:27]: List out the beautification. [1:39:28, 1:39:28]: Um [1:39:28, 1:39:34]: When I get that attendance list, I will add um an attendance list for our SYC here. [1:39:36, 1:39:37]: Um [1:39:37, 1:39:46]: Ms. Carter, if I can get the financial report for the second quarter, I will insert the um documents here. [1:39:50, 1:39:57]: And then the next page will include our accomplishments, such as Ms. Adams receiving her. [1:39:58, 1:40:04]: um educational um leadership PhD from the University of Georgia in May. [1:40:06, 1:40:07]: Good job. Congratulations. [1:40:08, 1:40:20]: I don't know. And becoming a member of the greatest sorority of all time. Oh, that's right. Initially. Woohoo! Congratulations. [1:40:21, 1:40:29]: I'm still learning. Oh ma'am. Thank y'all. Thank y'all. Miss Adams, would that term be initiated or crossed over? What should I say? [1:40:30, 1:40:33]: I would say cross. Oh cross. What do you think? [1:40:33, 1:40:53]: Erica, I'm a neophyte. I would say initiate it. Okay. Initiate it. Sounds good. Sounds good. Okay. Okay. Initiate it into aka um aka. Okay. Are there any more is this our is this the accomplishments for the advisory or for the kids? That would be for for both of us but uh you know what I'll take it out. I'll still [1:40:53, 1:41:12]: still have that the for us for our quarterly report? Yeah. Cause it's gonna be the same report. I'll just have yeah it'll be the same report. Just break it off. Uh don't take it out. Just break it off and do another. Yeah. Um does anybody have anything for our kids? I definitely think we need to, you know, we still have four seniors to graduate. I think that's awesome. [1:41:13, 1:41:19]: Um we also had um we had four seniors to graduate. We have four seniors to [1:41:19, 1:41:23]: get accepted to different colleges. I think we should put that. [1:41:24, 1:41:28]: Um and then both Brianna and um [1:41:28, 1:41:34]: Both Brianna and Caitlin both represented and spoke at their high school graduations. [1:41:35, 1:41:39]: Which I think is awesome because those are students who come from the youth council as well. [1:41:39, 1:41:42]: Nikolai's scholarship. [1:41:42, 1:41:51]: Yeah. Yes. Okay, so I know that I will have to come back and um I have to go I have to go look for my um program because my my office is being rearranged. [1:41:52, 1:42:12]: So I would need to get gather all that information um just to uh make sure I'm um gathering everyone's accomplishments. I'll probably just how about I just highlight the seniors and the colleges they go into. I think that might be easy. Yeah, okay. That's good for that. If you want me to do you need me to send it or you can find it. If you could send it, that'll help me. And then I like all I gotta do is fill in the blade. [1:42:12, 1:42:20]: for the other items make my corrections and we'll just be waiting um for miss um holiday to request the um report [1:42:20, 1:42:30]: Okay, I can send it. I can go back through my stuff and send it because I might be able to get to it quicker. Thank you so much. Do we have any S Y C uh advisory accomplishments? [1:42:33, 1:42:34]: For this quarter. [1:42:37, 1:42:57]: I'll say this. I'm s I'm so nervous, guys. Like, whoa, so nervous. But tomorrow I start a cooking class for a group uh somewhere it's called the art propportunities in Cobb County tomorrow morning. So y'all pray for me because I've never taught culinary to [1:42:57, 1:43:14]: a a group of students. I don't know what it's gonna look like, but I'm very excited for the opportunity. So that's an accomplishment. Congratulations. Congratulations. Congratulations. Can you teach me those details, please? Right. Can we have a cooking class? [1:43:14, 1:43:17]: I you know what I honestly what I think [1:43:17, 1:43:29]: That'll be great team building for us. Right. I can't tell you no. And every time I try to say no, they will offer more money or they will offer shorter timeframe or or less dates. And I was like, maybe I'm just supposed to do this. [1:43:29, 1:43:33]: Because I didn't want to drive to Cobb County, you guys. I was like, no. [1:43:34, 1:43:54]: Um as long as I've lived in Georgia, I refuse to drive through Atlanta during traffic. I just won't do it. If it's not in the uh on the south side, I don't work. But um I feel like it's for a greater cause. I feel like this is for me to get out there and really, you know, start doing that type of work so that I can bring it back to us and bring it back to our community. [1:43:54, 1:43:56]: So I'll definitely make sure I do that. [1:43:58, 1:44:06]: Awesome. Awesome. All right. Congratulations. Thank you. And it's a STEM program, so I'm sure you'll love that. [1:44:07, 1:44:19]: Yes, Tim. Stim. Yes, STEM. My organization gonna have a first STEM event on the 23rd at uh light of the world. So I'm having the aviation, the pilots. [1:44:19, 1:44:22]: Aviation Dream Week was not allowed for them. [1:44:22, 1:44:23]: On [1:44:24, 1:44:37]: The 23rd and uh they will do a presentation on aviation careers and hopefully the weather permit, they will fly drones for oh nice. Oh, that's nice. Congratulations to you too. [1:44:37, 1:44:44]: Yay. Miss Carter, can I get a text with that or put that in crew? I want to make sure I highlight that as well for our report. [1:44:44, 1:44:50]: So uh well great. So hopefully we will get the city to allow us to sponsor. [1:44:50, 1:44:54]: My organization to sponsor an event for STEM, so [1:44:55, 1:45:15]: Let's put it on the calendar. We absolutely need to go ahead and put that on the calendar and present that. I think it's definitely something that we need to bring, especially with them bringing this new school. So why not and jumpstart it? They're getting ready to bring a new STEM school right across the street from City Hall. So why not go ahead and start implementing the programs and you have somebody right here on the board. [1:45:15, 1:45:23]: that's able to do so. So I think that's a really easy push. And I think that that's something that we can all get behind if you guys don't agree. If you guys agree. [1:45:24, 1:45:25]: I agree. [1:45:26, 1:45:27]: Because white people come out for free. [1:45:30, 1:45:50]: My people come out for free. That's all I have for our um quarterly report. Um, if you have any other um anything else that you all would like to share with me, feel free to email me, text me, uh put it in crew so I can make sure I update both reports for SYC and SYAC. Thank you. All right, thank you so much. [1:45:50, 1:46:02]: Much. That was so great. Thank you so much, Miss Uh Jones. I asked her to do it. She answered the call and I knew she would be amazing. So thank you so much for taking over those quarterly reports for me. They look amazing. Really, really good job. [1:46:03, 1:46:07]: Uh next we have financial report by Ms. Carter. Do you have anything for us today? [1:46:09, 1:46:12]: Well, I looked at the financial reports and [1:46:12, 1:46:16]: You all heard me get a balance and uh give you the balance again. [1:46:17, 1:46:20]: It is and make sure I don't have my glasses on, okay? [1:46:21, 1:46:26]: Six thousand one hundred and six dollars and seventy eight cent I [1:46:26, 1:46:26]: Um [1:46:27, 1:46:29]: And that is through the date of [1:46:29, 1:46:30]: June second. [1:46:31, 1:46:34]: Do we have any pending June uh [1:46:35, 1:46:37]: Expenditures that you all know of. [1:46:38, 1:46:45]: We should not. We haven't we have not done anything since senior bank with that required. [1:46:45, 1:46:46]: Fun. [1:46:46, 1:46:55]: Okay, so that was the last thing. And so if we take in consideration what we have voted to encumber a thousand dollars towards school supplies that will leave us a balance. [1:46:56, 1:46:58]: Of the five thousand one oh six seventy eight. [1:46:59, 1:47:00]: And uh [1:47:00, 1:47:03]: That would be our current balance at this time. [1:47:04, 1:47:04]: Okay. [1:47:05, 1:47:06]: Thank you so much, Miss Carter. [1:47:08, 1:47:20]: Um, we will go ahead and submit. Um, we'll send over. Um, usually we will have this at the meeting. So I'll send them over via email um the actual budget report so you guys can look over that as well. [1:47:21, 1:47:29]: Let's see, next item on the agenda parent involvement program with Ms. Zellers. Do you have anything for us today? [1:47:30, 1:47:31]: Um [1:47:31, 1:47:37]: Well, we've been um and well me and Erica kinda talked a little bit about this this week. [1:47:37, 1:47:38]: Um [1:47:38, 1:47:45]: I think that we need to reevaluate if this is something that we want for me to spend my time doing. [1:47:45, 1:47:56]: Um and this kind of came to, you know, after just kind of seeing like our parent involvement for the last couple of events where we have asked for parent involvement more directly. [1:47:56, 1:48:00]: We asked for parent involvement to come to the [1:48:01, 1:48:09]: to the youth to the mayor and council's meeting in support of the f our request for the film fest and no parents attended. [1:48:09, 1:48:10]: Um [1:48:11, 1:48:15]: Outside of Miss Hall, who's you know also a part of the advisory committee. [1:48:16, 1:48:18]: Um an Chair Walma Harvey. [1:48:18, 1:48:38]: And so again, they are in dual roles. So no additional parents came. And then we also asked for parents to participate with us at the retreat. And we only had one parent who came um for a brief period of time at the retreat. And so I'm really unsure of how. [1:48:38, 1:48:49]: how we want to engage the parents. I'm definitely okay if anybody has any additional feedback. But I know we have have definitely for the last two events that we've had. [1:48:50, 1:49:10]: been requesting parent support directly, like not just in crew, because we're not getting much interaction in crew. But I know like we've been asking via text message. I know Ms. Hall has been sending stuff via direct message. Um I talked to some parents specifically myself and requested for them to to participate with us a little bit. [1:49:10, 1:49:10]: [6551.1, 6559.1]: Um, so I don't know. I just, you know, think that we need to kind of reassess like how much, like, what do we want for this to look like? [1:49:19, 1:49:25]: Um because we we just haven't been getting getting much response. [1:49:26, 1:49:46]: Um, I I I like she said, we talked about this and I do agree. Um, we we just have a group of the age of our students. I think the parents are just a little more hands-off. And so again, like I've seen Miss Hall and Ms. Zellers really put forth the effort before it was just kind of like, hey, drop it in crack. [1:49:46, 1:49:46]: Create. [1:49:46, 1:49:58]: But it and and so we couldn't say, Well, we're not really engaging, we're not telling them the details, we're not giving enough information. Well, now that's not a thing. Like they're really getting the information and they just really are not. [1:49:58, 1:50:15]: Yeah, it's just they don't. So maybe instead of saying parent, we can do community involvement and that can be a little more, you know, because I don't want to keep putting our time on something that's not gonna manifest anything, but maybe getting a [1:50:15, 1:50:22]: the community involved, people who aren't on the board, people who just wanna serve and they wanna come and do community service. Um [1:50:22, 1:50:42]: Just have a a list of opportunities. Maybe we can kind of start sending stuff out saying, hey, this is such and such and we need volunteers. Just kind of have in a network of community people that support the youth council versus just focusing on parent involvement but community involvement. That's my, you know, suggestion, but it's up to you guys. [1:50:44, 1:51:04]: Um Miss Harvey, my concern with the community involvement is just um those people being vetted out and them being um involved with the youth. Um I know with another organization. That's volunteerism. It's volunteerism, okay. Not not advisory, not decision making, not chaperoning, but like [1:51:04, 1:51:09]: Okay. For Tasty Tuesdays and and helping out with face painting or something like that. Okay. [1:51:10, 1:51:30]: And maybe able to still vet. Maybe that's something because we're creating the a um a program, we can still send them through and have them vetted so that you know if there is something that we need extra hands that would require them a little more closer, intimate with our students, that we we also have it. So if but we I think there is a fee. [1:51:30, 1:51:42]: So we want to make sure that we take that in consideration. Like if we start vetting community members to come in, then we will probably have to pay that fee for, you know, the background check. Yeah. [1:51:43, 1:51:47]: And qu and question I think some of those [1:51:47, 1:51:49]: Uh I think some of the uh [1:51:50, 1:52:00]: If we vetted maybe through another part of the program or through using the nonprofit, I think some of those vetting processes they do for some nonprofits. [1:52:00, 1:52:01]: They'll do the vetting for free. [1:52:02, 1:52:03]: Oh, cool. [1:52:03, 1:52:10]: So uh there's is a r a roundabout way you can get around it and just if you have an organization. [1:52:11, 1:52:13]: That has their members already vetted. [1:52:13, 1:52:19]: then asking them to do we can do a volunteer database and it is a program that [1:52:19, 1:52:20]: A lot of groups use. [1:52:21, 1:52:25]: That allow the volunteers to sign up through uh [1:52:25, 1:52:27]: Онлайн сервіс [1:52:27, 1:52:31]: And uh and then you can get that information that way. [1:52:31, 1:52:32]: And uh [1:52:32, 1:52:36]: I have to see which that program is because we use that program during COVID. [1:52:37, 1:52:42]: Where we allow the volunteers to go in and put their information and then you can pull from there. [1:52:43, 1:52:45]: And it gives you a pool of volunteers. [1:52:45, 1:52:46]: Okay. [1:52:47, 1:53:01]: Well, that's good. That's good input. Um, if anybody, I mean, that's something like I said, that we're right now we're just talking about the parent involvement. If we decide to do the community involvement, we'll add that to our July um calendar. But as of right now, um [1:53:02, 1:53:16]: I say we we haven't, I think we we did vote to add it. So if we wanna go ahead and say, you know, we've we've done the work, we've tried it, it's not a program that's working, um, and we can go ahead and um remove that from our um [1:53:17, 1:53:18]: From our program. [1:53:18, 1:53:33]: I I I think it's a good idea. Like I said, I don't want to uh anybody wasting their time on a pro you know, something that's not really working, not to our control, you know. So that's that's my that's my two cents. And I would say the vote to go ahead and remove that parent involvement program. [1:53:35, 1:53:48]: Erica, this is Renee. I'm I a hundred percent agree with you because I'm the VP of the Stockbridge High School PTO committee. And it's the same thing. These parents, they you know, they they're hands off with these kids now. [1:53:49, 1:54:02]: So um we have so many events and it's just the same people, the board members doing everything and it's just so frustrating. So um I agree with you to just, you know, cancel that. [1:54:02, 1:54:16]: Well, I would like to first say thank you, uh, Miss Zellers and Miss Hall for, you know, taking the charge and doing the work and, you know, at least trying to get the work done. I I did see you guys put forth the effort. I I just think that you like she's like Miss, you know, it's not [1:54:16, 1:54:24]: It's just it just is and that's it's uncontrollable. So I think we should just kind of look at a f a different direction and get in more involvement in the community and kind of go from there. [1:54:24, 1:54:30]: So if anybody would like to make a motion to remove the parent involvement program, please make that motion now. [1:54:31, 1:54:36]: I was going to do that. [1:54:38, 1:54:40]: Um this is Ella's I say it. [1:54:41, 1:54:43]: It's been moved and properly second. All in favor, motion with aye. [1:54:45, 1:54:46]: Uh, this is a [1:54:47, 1:54:48]: Hi, Williams. [1:54:48, 1:54:52]: Aye Carter. I Jones. I Pureport. [1:54:53, 1:54:55]: I claimed I Kendrick. [1:54:56, 1:54:58]: Okay. That'll [1:54:59, 1:55:02]: Oh, didn't I thought I heard Adams. So that's unit of [1:55:02, 1:55:03]: Any opposed? [1:55:04, 1:55:20]: Any abstain, hearing none, seeing none. Um it's so moved, it's unanimous that we are going to go ahead and strike that from the program. Um voters registration was removed. Alumni program that has sudden on there, but I just received it. So I'm just gonna actually Anaya. [1:55:25, 1:55:30]: Kendricks. Yes, ma'am. Didn't didn't you help with this um presentation? [1:55:30, 1:55:37]: Uh yes, ma'am, I did. Me and Jaden did it together. Okay, so I'll just share my screen really quickly and then you can kind of give us some [1:55:39, 1:55:39]: Um [1:55:40, 1:55:42]: Input, let me see how do I do that? [1:55:43, 1:55:43]: I gotta make [1:55:44, 1:55:45]: Are you still the host? [1:55:45, 1:55:53]: Um uh Miss Jones, can you make me the host again, please? Or you don't have to make me the host, just um allow um make Anaya the host so she can [1:55:54, 1:55:55]: Do you have the presentation? [1:55:57, 1:56:02]: If not, make me the host and I'll share my screen because I Yeah. No ma'am, I don't have it on my phone. [1:56:03, 1:56:07]: Okay, so Miss Jones, if you make me the host, then I can go ahead and share my um screen. [1:56:15, 1:56:20]: [6982.4, 6983.4]: Miss Jones? [1:56:25, 1:56:29]: I'm having a moment. I was having a moment trying to find out how to make her a um [1:56:29, 1:56:30]: Please begin me. [1:56:31, 1:56:35]: Okay, so you're making me the host, you know that, right? Make you the host, not Lenaya, okay. Yeah. [1:56:38, 1:56:41]: All right, there it is. Thank you. [1:56:41, 1:56:47]: All right. Is that there? Share screen. So [1:56:56, 1:56:59]: Okay, so here you go, Naya, I'll go ahead and let you. [1:57:00, 1:57:03]: Share. If I can move that out the way. Oh, nope. [1:57:07, 1:57:08]: There we go. [1:57:13, 1:57:14]: Can you guys see my screen? [1:57:16, 1:57:17]: Not yet. [1:57:18, 1:57:18]: No. [1:57:23, 1:57:24]: Uh oh. [1:57:27, 1:57:30]: Share screen start. [1:57:35, 1:57:36]: Yeah, what about now? [1:57:37, 1:57:38]: Yes. Yeah, we got you. [1:57:40, 1:57:41]: All right, go ahead, Anaya. [1:57:43, 1:57:45]: Okay, can you guys hear me? [1:57:45, 1:57:46]: Yes. [1:57:46, 1:58:05]: Okay, so basically um what this would be would be an alumni association for anybody that was um current um previously a part of the youth council. Um so the membership would just be anybody who had been a part of the youth council and has graduated high school, and then um we would do [1:58:06, 1:58:10]: Um the off the as an executive board and um [1:58:11, 1:58:16]: At least the president has to be a member of the um [1:58:16, 1:58:29]: advisory committee yeah um whoever the president is has to be a part of the advisory committee and then we would hold at least three um events per calendar year with one being um the founders day [1:58:30, 1:58:43]: um a founders day festival, which would just be around the time that um the youth council started. And then we would be on a as needed basis. So basically we would come back for mentorship and um leadership, things like that. Um doing [1:58:46, 1:59:06]: Doing um like we've talked about doing one-on-one mentorship, like one um alumni per one person on the youth council and just having a student and just molding them and building them up and then coming back and speaking on our experiences after we left the youth council and what we're doing now currently. Um, and then also coming back and being a part of [1:59:06, 1:59:19]: of like the any events that they're holding. So any community service or any like events that they're holding for the community, we will come back for those and just be a guide. [1:59:20, 1:59:25]: in that source and we've already been through this process and then just be there for them, if that makes sense. [1:59:26, 1:59:27]: Awesome. [1:59:28, 1:59:36]: Thank you, Anaya. Um, I will make sure I send this out to everybody uh to take a look over it. Um, how do you guys feel about the um [1:59:36, 1:59:43]: The well, we again we would have to get this approved by mayor and council. But how do you guys feel about the alumni association? [1:59:45, 1:59:47]: I only have one question. [1:59:47, 1:59:57]: Um, so like with the alumni, it just automatically be because you were part of the youth council, you would qualify to be a part of the alumni chapter. [1:59:57, 1:59:58]: Or would it be like [1:59:59, 2:00:05]: W is there no like you apply? We say yes or no, like how how like what's the plan for that? [2:00:06, 2:00:26]: So what it would be is if you were a previously a part of the youth council and you have graduated and when you left the youth council, you were in good standing. So it wasn't like a you were dismissed or anything like that. And then it would be that they actually asked or applied to be on the um alumni association. So it wouldn't be an automatic thing. You would have to go through the process of [2:00:25, 2:00:36]: being put on there because it would still be like kind of work to do. So we don't want to automatically assume that anybody wants to be put in that position if they don't apply. [2:00:37, 2:00:45]: So I just have so like if so say for instance, and this is just, you know, not like you've been an amazing part of the advisory committee. [2:00:45, 2:00:49]: But like just say for instance, somebody wants to be a part of it. [2:00:50, 2:00:57]: But we didn't feel like their service on the youth council was what we wanted it to be. How would we address situations like that? [2:00:58, 2:01:18]: I have a I have a statement to make there. Um as it pertains to uh because when she said it, it kind of, you know, went off on my head in my head as well. But I think it would be a good idea, you know, once we establish what this looks like, to always have a seat available on the board and maybe we can add to our bylaws or what it [2:01:18, 2:01:29]: won't do is it won't remove anybody that's already here, but it would just be that one extra seat like a liaison. It would more so be like the um uh alumni. [2:01:29, 2:01:30]: Lia Zi. [2:01:30, 2:01:31]: If that makes any sense. [2:01:32, 2:01:33]: Okay. [2:01:33, 2:01:39]: And you're saying the alumni liaison would like how would that affect this the program she's talking about? [2:01:41, 2:01:48]: Um how what uh how what do you mean how would it affect it? You're saying what but you're saying in addition to what Anaya, this program she's presenting, right? [2:01:49, 2:02:04]: No, no, no. I'm saying that that instead of saying that they have to be on the board necessarily, they just become the liaison. Like Brandy is the liaison for the city. Maybe and she's not a voting member necessarily. She's just a liaison for the association. [2:02:05, 2:02:05]: Okay. [2:02:06, 2:02:06]: Okay. [2:02:07, 2:02:11]: present at the meetings but she doesn't have vo that person might not necessarily have voting power. [2:02:13, 2:02:16]: Unless they're actually on the board, like how Anaya is. [2:02:16, 2:02:17]: Yeah. [2:02:19, 2:02:24]: Okay, but so all right, but like did you hear the question that I asked? [2:02:26, 2:02:43]: Um yes ma'am, I I heard I heard your question and um like I stated previously, it would be somebody that left and graduated in good standing. If it was anybody that had already like you had already had a conversation about attendance or about participation, then they would not be able to be a part of the association. [2:02:44, 2:02:45]: Okay. Okay. [2:02:46, 2:02:51]: Energy. And like I said, it's not, you know, because like sometimes we have keep people who aren't necessarily [2:02:52, 2:02:53]: In [2:02:53, 2:02:56]: Like we have some students right now that [2:02:56, 2:03:01]: they may not be performing to what maybe they want them to, but they still [2:03:01, 2:03:10]: kind of operate within the bounds of what would be still considered good standing. It's like they come to the events, they come to the meeting. They may not necessarily [2:03:10, 2:03:19]: But but you know what? Some of this may flush itself out through Keely's new role anyway, too. So we would we should we should be able to identify this stuff and like [2:03:19, 2:03:25]: rectify it and help students build their skills and stuff like that through her new roles. So it might not even be an issue. [2:03:25, 2:03:26]: Actually. [2:03:27, 2:03:38]: Oh go ahead. You made that point. Um, I know we talked about the attendance and things of that nature. I I don't remember who I asked to do that, but Miss Key, being the liaison, can you go ahead and reach out to that student for me? [2:03:41, 2:03:45]: I I could could totally forgot about that, you know, her being in that role. [2:03:46, 2:03:48]: Absolutely. I'm sorry, I'm driving. [2:03:48, 2:03:49]: Okay. [2:03:49, 2:03:54]: Yeah, I'll make sure I send you send over the name and any details you might need. [2:03:54, 2:04:04]: Um, I have a question for you, Anaya. Are you guys asking for um are you guys gonna need uh any any type of funds for this association? Um [2:04:04, 2:04:18]: I believe so that we were just saying for the Founders Day um celebration, that would be the only thing that we would technically need funds for, which is um I believe in the meetings and activities section. Um [2:04:18, 2:04:38]: go down a little bit i believe is under that and it just says that it's um section two that a founders day um shall be observed annually with an event appropriate for the occasion that's really the only thing that we would um really be trying to plan and just getting everybody um that was previously in our um currently on the stock bridge [2:04:38, 2:04:50]: youth council to come out in the community and celebrate the fact that this has been added to the um city and just um celebrate all that is progress in the things that we have done and that that they continue to do. [2:04:51, 2:04:53]: So you guys are gonna be funded by fundraising. [2:04:53, 2:04:55]: And uh is that is that correct? [2:04:57, 2:04:58]: Um we didn't [2:04:58, 2:04:59]: Fund it both. [2:05:00, 2:05:15]: Yes, ma'am. I believe that he was doing, well, when we spoke about that part, it was being funded from the city. Um, but if it needed, if necessary, if it needed to be through um community, I mean through fundraising, then that can be arranged as well. [2:05:16, 2:05:19]: This is Renee. I had a question, really a comment. [2:05:20, 2:05:26]: Um, if an individual is awarded the um prestigious um [2:05:27, 2:05:38]: Pres prestigiousness of being an alumni. Um, I like you said Erica, I don't know how it's gonna be funded, but perhaps we can, you know, create them a certificate and perhaps a lapel pen. [2:05:39, 2:05:47]: In some form. I think that would be nice to present that to the alumni. Or you know, any other paraphernalia that somebody else would be deemed appropriate. [2:05:47, 2:05:49]: Actually need um [2:05:49, 2:05:56]: funding for some type of apparel, maybe, you know, uh to go co you go cohesive with the uh um program. [2:05:57, 2:06:01]: And a a pen. You're right. That that that's exactly what I was thinking. That's why I was asking. [2:06:02, 2:06:10]: about the funding so we can figure out what the funding source would be for this alumni uh organization. I would not ask now what we could do [2:06:10, 2:06:20]: is when we do our budget report, I mean our um proposal for next year, we could put the ask in there and then see how that goes. [2:06:20, 2:06:24]: That's just my opinion. But you know, you we we all have to kinda um [2:06:24, 2:06:44]: Talk about that when we get a little bit closer to doing the budget uh proposal for 2023 calendar year. So right now, as where we're getting 21.5, if they're saying okay, we're gonna need an additional five thousand dollars for the alumni program, then we'll ask for add that to the line item and then ask for an additional. [2:06:44, 2:06:48]: additional five thousand dollars for that uh calendar year. [2:06:52, 2:06:58]: But again, that's up to advisory on what that ass is gonna be. Do you guys have any suggestions or inputs with that? [2:07:08, 2:07:28]: Hear none. See none. Okay. We can um I what I'll do is I'll let you guys kind of look over this a little bit, um, have an opportunity to look over it, ask any questions, and then we can come up with the number and a little more details in in our July meeting. So I'll make sure I put this in old business on um our next agenda. [2:07:30, 2:07:32]: All right. [2:07:33, 2:07:40]: Um, I'm sorry, I was just trying to read through it very quickly. That says that you guys's board will be comprised of, or it'll be five members. [2:07:41, 2:07:43]: Or is that did I leave that wrong? [2:07:43, 2:07:52]: No, yes, ma'am, it would be the president, vice president, um, secretary, treasurer. And then I believe it was the last one was a parliamentarian, I believe what it was what it was. [2:07:53, 2:07:58]: Okay. I don't I don't have it on my phone at this moment. Oh actually, actually, hold on, let me go see. [2:07:59, 2:08:00]: Um [2:08:02, 2:08:09]: No, it's only four. It's only four positions. It would just be the secretary's um's um treasurer, vice president, and then the president. [2:08:10, 2:08:11]: Okay. [2:08:11, 2:08:18]: Well, I th um Erica, if you share that with us, I think then we can give more feedback on if we did have to ask for um [2:08:19, 2:08:25]: money on a line item so we can know like how many students, how many alumni students we would be trying to support. [2:08:27, 2:08:30]: Okay, I'll make sure I share that guy that's you guys on tonight. [2:08:30, 2:08:36]: So be looking at that. If you don't see it, send it to me. Um, send, you know, shoot somebody shoot me a reminder email. [2:08:36, 2:08:40]: Great job, thank you so much. Yes. [2:08:40, 2:08:43]: uh guys and that putting the pulling that together it looks really really good. [2:08:44, 2:08:55]: All right, so uh last thing we have on the agenda is the 2020-2023 calendar. Okay, I'm gonna turn on my lights, it's getting a little dark. Um [2:08:56, 2:09:05]: So generally we have um we have four different quarters. I know we've already uh at our previous meetings, we've um voted to make first quarter. [2:09:05, 2:09:07]: Uh, for team building. [2:09:09, 2:09:11]: Was it a team building? [2:09:12, 2:09:15]: And new members, correct? [2:09:19, 2:09:20]: Wasn't that the fault? [2:09:20, 2:09:23]: For uh was it yeah, team building. The the first quarter was team building. [2:09:24, 2:09:25]: Mm-hmm. [2:09:26, 2:09:32]: So we won't be, you know, doing any major events. The only thing we'll do in the first quarter is the retreat. [2:09:33, 2:09:33]: Um [2:09:35, 2:09:42]: Moving this. Um, we do have GMA, but that's also team building. GMA is in January. [2:09:43, 2:09:45]: January, February, March. [2:09:45, 2:09:54]: Um, so what we would need to talk about as it pertains to 2023 is that March event, that March Madness event. So we have [2:09:55, 2:09:57]: Uh January Gym May. [2:09:58, 2:10:10]: retreat somewhere in there and we can maybe do that in February. We usually do it in January. If we want to keep it there, we can. If we want to move it around, this is the time to talk about that. And then March Madness will is our that will be what our [2:10:12, 2:10:13]: Third annual. [2:10:16, 2:10:23]: um event, I believe. So um I will say this the students have been talking about a flag football. [2:10:24, 2:10:44]: I love the idea and I think it definitely could um require a little more um conversation, but I do want to get consistent also. Um, if we're kind of jumping around and moving around, like we're already on year three with March Madness, it's building. Um, if we just take it off, okay, okay, let's do this, let's do something else. [2:10:44, 2:10:49]: Else up unless we wanna just say we're gonna focus on something athletic and let them change it all the time. [2:10:50, 2:11:06]: I don't think that's a good idea because it means we have to come up with the plan every single time versus saying, okay, we've done this twice. We know what the costs are. We already have this equipment that we've invested in. This is the event. Let's push it forward. Um, so that's the conversation that we need to have about first quarter. [2:11:09, 2:11:12]: Any uh feedback? [2:11:13, 2:11:14]: Um [2:11:15, 2:11:22]: And you're asking if you're asking about whether we should keep it at March Madness or if we should switch to the flag football. [2:11:22, 2:11:23]: Yeah. [2:11:25, 2:11:33]: Or or it when when I say switch, I'm not necessarily saying that it's in March. I'm saying that that will mean we're we're removing March madness from the calendar. [2:11:34, 2:11:37]: Mm-hmm. Because we don't need to do March Madness and flag football. [2:11:38, 2:11:40]: Well my thing is [2:11:40, 2:11:42]: Again, depending on when you wanna have it. [2:11:43, 2:11:58]: You just have to consider that football is just I mean, even though that one, you know, flag football is not as much contact, you still just have to consider that March Madness can go on, whether it's rain, whether it's cold, whether it's because it is an indoor event. [2:11:58, 2:12:04]: Um, football has its other limitations as it, you know, as it surrounds stuff like that. [2:12:05, 2:12:08]: Uh, so we need to consider that and we need to consider um [2:12:09, 2:12:17]: you know, just climate. If we're gonna could talk about a different month, then you know, what what would the temperature be for those particular months and what does that look like? [2:12:17, 2:12:20]: But also too, we just need to consider like [2:12:22, 2:12:26]: If if we're gonna do that, we need to definitely probably expand. [2:12:27, 2:12:28]: The reach. [2:12:28, 2:12:31]: Like it can't just be a high school. [2:12:32, 2:12:39]: Flood flag football event, unfortunately, unless we're really gonna be looking at how we're marketing events. [2:12:39, 2:12:42]: And how we can actually have a [2:12:42, 2:12:44]: strictly team focused event. [2:12:44, 2:12:46]: And how we're gonna pull people out to that. [2:12:47, 2:12:51]: Because like I feel like a lot of the ideas are great ideas. I just [2:12:51, 2:12:54]: don't feel like we've had the level of success. [2:12:54, 2:13:02]: when it's been strictly driven to just the high school age crowd, even if we say we're gonna go to middle school and high school. [2:13:02, 2:13:05]: Because flag football would have both of those teams. [2:13:05, 2:13:12]: Like I we we would need to just consider something like that. And I think we need to look at that with March Madness and the football event. [2:13:13, 2:13:18]: Just because those are just heavy money events and we just can't continue to spend the money that we're spending. [2:13:19, 2:13:22]: And really just like we are scrambling. [2:13:22, 2:13:27]: At least this year, anyway, we scramble at the last minute to try to get teams for that. [2:13:27, 2:13:30]: And all of that kind of stuff. And so my worry is. [2:13:30, 2:13:35]: We may be able to solidify some referees that we keep using on a recurring basis. [2:13:36, 2:13:41]: Like I j I definitely don't want to keep on changing it. So whatever we do, we just need to kind of stick with it. [2:13:41, 2:13:48]: And we need to add on to it. And I definitely think this year we are we're gonna need to go down to those middle school teams because [2:13:48, 2:13:50]: The high school is just kind of flaky. [2:13:50, 2:13:52]: They're like, I mean, we'll pull up. [2:13:53, 2:13:54]: We'll show up, we might [2:13:55, 2:13:58]: We in two, three tournaments at one time, you know what I'm saying? And [2:13:59, 2:14:02]: We just can't keep on spending that much money out just for that. [2:14:03, 2:14:05]: Yeah, I agree with you on that. [2:14:05, 2:14:07]: I think that when um [2:14:07, 2:14:11]: They show us that they can pull off an uh an event. [2:14:11, 2:14:14]: like that, then we can look at that. [2:14:15, 2:14:35]: But until they kind of show us, you know, though that leadership as it pertains to um event coordinating, I think that we keep it and make it easier, you know, for us who, you know, usually ends up putting forth a lot of the work because we have put forth a lot of the work in the March Madness. I think it's still a good community event. I think the studio. [2:14:35, 2:14:36]: We can still have fun. [2:14:36, 2:14:37]: Um [2:14:37, 2:14:49]: But yeah, that's just my opinion. I think we keep it March Madness and then kind of keep the other ideas on the table, but they have to show us that they're able to, you know, bring pull that together. [2:14:52, 2:14:54]: And not put all the work on advisory. [2:14:54, 2:15:01]: Is there any other inputs on the March Madness or the the first quarter or what we're gonna do with that? [2:15:07, 2:15:14]: Okay, there's not any more input. So first quarter we have GMA, which we do every year. [2:15:14, 2:15:17]: Um closer to the end of the year. [2:15:18, 2:15:21]: We will um go ahead and start our selection process for GMA. [2:15:22, 2:15:26]: So we'll probably do that maybe like in around August once we have all the students on board. [2:15:28, 2:15:30]: Uh we have GMA. [2:15:31, 2:15:32]: Um retreat. [2:15:35, 2:15:37]: And March Madness. [2:15:38, 2:15:41]: That's quarter one. Then we go down to quarter two. [2:15:42, 2:15:44]: April, May, June. [2:15:49, 2:15:52]: What do we you generally have in uh the second quarter? [2:15:53, 2:15:54]: Graduates. [2:15:55, 2:15:57]: I'm graduated senior banquet. Mm-hmm. [2:16:04, 2:16:08]: We usually don't have anything in June because it's on off month. [2:16:09, 2:16:11]: And we usually don't have anything in April. [2:16:12, 2:16:12]: So [2:16:13, 2:16:16]: Looking at the counters we done an event in March. [2:16:17, 2:16:18]: Right. [2:16:19, 2:16:25]: Looking at the calendar, do you want those to be beautification like focus months? [2:16:27, 2:16:28]: Yeah, that will make sense. [2:16:30, 2:16:34]: Like a bit like whenever they do their big commun uh beautification project. [2:16:35, 2:16:37]: It can be somewhere in the second quarter. [2:16:38, 2:16:40]: Not both, but just one or the other. [2:16:41, 2:16:41]: Well, April. [2:16:42, 2:16:44]: We don't want to do June because they're on vacation. [2:16:45, 2:17:00]: So April will be a beautification, the big beautification month, then May can be the senior banquet. And if anybody wants to object in there, go ahead and give your input. But once we get to the end, we can kind of uh kind of do an overall consensus on the 2023 calendar. [2:17:01, 2:17:10]: Um, we're only doing like a blueprint because we're gonna let them go ahead and like, you know, talk about it. Sorry, Miss Adam says she's kicked out. [2:17:11, 2:17:12]: Did she get back in? [2:17:14, 2:17:17]: She's back in as an attendee at this point. [2:17:19, 2:17:21]: Thank you, Sharika. I just added her back. [2:17:25, 2:17:27]: I think. Julie. [2:17:31, 2:17:32]: Hmm, it won't let me. [2:17:40, 2:17:46]: For some reason it will not let me. So Mr. Mr. [2:17:46, 2:17:51]: I just added you as a host. Okay. She's in now. There she goes. Uh-huh. [2:17:51, 2:17:55]: Okay, but I still have the other holes just in case you can give it back to you then. I'm um presenting. [2:17:56, 2:18:04]: Okay, thank you. And then June is summer month. So summer month, July next quarter, July. [2:18:05, 2:18:08]: August September. [2:18:10, 2:18:16]: What do we have for the July, August, September months? Oh, this is leadership. I think we said third quarter leadership, right? [2:18:17, 2:18:18]: Yeah water. [2:18:18, 2:18:20]: Mm-hmm. [2:18:22, 2:18:23]: So maybe August. [2:18:24, 2:18:25]: Leadership retreat. [2:18:26, 2:18:28]: Or you know, focusing on leadership. [2:18:29, 2:18:31]: Doing a retreat there. [2:18:32, 2:18:35]: When are the students but the students are coming in when? [2:18:36, 2:18:37]: The new students. [2:18:38, 2:18:42]: Yeah, I thought we had agreed on this is August of next year. [2:18:43, 2:18:47]: Okay, so what what what was the first quarter? Was the first quarter training? [2:18:48, 2:18:53]: Well yeah, first quarter is team building, like you know, team building training, new members, all that. [2:18:53, 2:18:54]: Getting them at [2:18:55, 2:18:55]: program. [2:18:56, 2:18:58]: And so the second quarter wasn't leadership, no. [2:18:59, 2:19:02]: Why did I feel like we did like team building and then leadership? [2:19:02, 2:19:03]: We didn't. [2:19:03, 2:19:05]: Or do we do team building and then training? [2:19:06, 2:19:10]: You might be right. If you want, we can't, we can do leadership on the second. [2:19:11, 2:19:11]: Um [2:19:13, 2:19:15]: Mm, mm, mm. [2:19:17, 2:19:22]: 'Cause I thought we were saying we didn't wanna be like we didn't wanna start doing leadership too late. [2:19:23, 2:19:32]: You're right. And then we really senior banquet isn't an event for them. That's something that we pretty much put on. So we could fit that up into the second quarter. [2:19:34, 2:19:38]: If you guys want to do it, let's let's keep the leadership in the second quarter. [2:19:38, 2:19:39]: Um [2:19:39, 2:19:40]: April or May? [2:19:41, 2:19:43]: April. I think April. [2:19:45, 2:19:53]: Because even the May, the seniors that are, you know, gonna be graduating out, it's still some good information, some good stuff that they can get before they leave the program. [2:19:54, 2:19:54]: Yeah. [2:19:54, 2:19:56]: And I mean that that's just what we did this year. [2:19:57, 2:19:57]: Yeah. [2:20:00, 2:20:01]: So leadership in April. [2:20:02, 2:20:06]: All right, thank you for that um check pi uh fit finding that oversight, Sharika. [2:20:07, 2:20:14]: Okay, so now we still have July, August, September. July again, usually it's a um summer. [2:20:14, 2:20:20]: month. So we don't generally ask them to do anything in the summer months. So then we have August and September. [2:20:21, 2:20:26]: I have a question. Are we um mean that we're doing two things for the summer month this year? We're doing the [2:20:27, 2:20:40]: fill the bus and the back to school, no, um the backpack drive and back to school in August. So we got two things in August this I mean in July this year. Do you you anticipate they're gonna ask us to do it again next year in July? [2:20:41, 2:20:44]: The way it's gonna probably look, I most likely. [2:20:45, 2:20:46]: Because [2:20:46, 2:20:54]: Yeah, there is that they probably won't see it done like this before. I mean, it used to be big before, but it's just kind of been I can see them asking us to partner. [2:20:55, 2:20:57]: So you wanna just go ahead and add that to the panel? [2:20:57, 2:21:02]: Mice well and not let it surprise me like that. Back to perfect. [2:21:04, 2:21:09]: All right. Um July, August, September. [2:21:10, 2:21:11]: September, September. [2:21:14, 2:21:15]: Yeah. [2:21:16, 2:21:21]: Ink that what about uh August and September? Do you guys have any suggestions there? [2:21:24, 2:21:28]: Are we gonna is the fan fest gonna be a one time thing? [2:21:28, 2:21:32]: No, they're asking for, you know, an annual, but that's October. [2:21:32, 2:21:33]: That's in the fourth quarter. [2:21:34, 2:21:40]: But that'll give us time to plan as well. We won't be so overwhelmed. If we do the back to school thing in July. [2:21:41, 2:21:45]: then we still would have to plan for that in October. [2:21:45, 2:21:49]: And that plan fence is probably gonna take it l several months to plan, you don't think? [2:21:50, 2:21:54]: Uh plant not necessarily because we're not really planning it, we're partnering. [2:21:55, 2:22:14]: So it's not supposed generally like the festival doesn't change. Um, so it's more so of a partnership, especially if we're saying we're doing it again, we're gonna already like pretty much know where to go and plug into. So I don't think that that's gonna be a big planning event, but I do, I do agree with not. [2:22:15, 2:22:20]: um surrounded that by too much. So if we have [2:22:22, 2:22:28]: Back to school, August, September, October Fam Fest. I I don't think we need to put anything big right there. [2:22:29, 2:22:31]: Yeah, because we're gonna get burnt out. [2:22:31, 2:22:36]: We have film fest, but we also have why don't we put like if we're [2:22:38, 2:22:48]: Do you want to put leadership somewhere in there? Like maybe we can do like a leadership training or something in there, but not like host an event if you just wanna put something in there. [2:22:48, 2:23:08]: Wait, there's a different. So I know that his ask was September, but there was already something in September. So what if we plan it for September? Because we don't have anything in September in the third quarter. And we try to keep that month that he requested. And then because we still got fall festival in October. [2:23:08, 2:23:09]: Over to [2:23:09, 2:23:12]: To partner with. A partner. [2:23:12, 2:23:20]: So if we go and keep FAF Fam Fest, even though it's in October this month, the ass was in September if we move it up to September. [2:23:22, 2:23:29]: Meaning that on the twenty twenty three calendar it would be September and then partnering for Fall Festival for October. [2:23:32, 2:23:37]: So that's my suggestion. I don't think that matter either way. I'm fine with it either way. Yeah. [2:23:38, 2:23:58]: And like I said, I think he'll be okay with keeping it in September because that's the month that he wanted to, you know, have it anyway. So then um go down to October, you have fall festival, November, and then December is generally like uh the Christmas partnership with um the city, whatever they're doing for. [2:23:58, 2:24:03]: their um Christmas event, we just do a partnership with them. [2:24:04, 2:24:15]: Is there anything in uh that we we wanna kinda add, talk about, any opportunities that you guys see that we may be able to do? Or does this look like a solid calendar to you guys? [2:24:18, 2:24:22]: So what events do you have that we're actually hosting our own on our own? [2:24:23, 2:24:24]: Um [2:24:27, 2:24:28]: retreats and [2:24:30, 2:24:33]: Just retreats and [2:24:33, 2:24:35]: That's madness or whatever. [2:24:35, 2:24:37]: Oh, in March Mandis. [2:24:37, 2:24:40]: Which is not bad. Like one if one one uh [2:24:41, 2:24:49]: Event is not terrible. We can partner, we can, you know, work with the community, but I don't think it's terrible to have that March Madness be the [2:24:50, 2:24:54]: Only events unless you guys see an opportunity to do something else. [2:24:54, 2:24:55]: Oh wait. [2:24:56, 2:24:57]: Let me go back. Let me backtrack. [2:24:58, 2:25:01]: Um, I was talking to Kim. [2:25:01, 2:25:09]: with events. Was it Kim? It was Kim and it was somebody else. I don't know her name. She was at the uh the city of Stockbridge. Um [2:25:09, 2:25:17]: calendar and they were I mean at the boot the tent and they were talking about um us working with them next year on the Juneteenth. [2:25:17, 2:25:24]: um event and they also um I talked to them about the idea of the parade and they love the idea of a Juneteenth parade. [2:25:24, 2:25:25]: Um [2:25:25, 2:25:26]: However [2:25:27, 2:25:31]: The oh wait, uh if Randy or does anybody know [2:25:31, 2:25:36]: Stockbridge birthday is not on the top of my it's like somewhere in September ish. [2:25:37, 2:25:41]: Randy, do you does anybody know the stock bridge birthday? [2:25:42, 2:25:43]: Right there. [2:25:43, 2:25:44]: Maybe Charles girl. [2:25:58, 2:26:00]: The bridge. [2:26:01, 2:26:02]: I don't even know where to find that at. [2:26:05, 2:26:25]: Well anyway, once we find the date, um, I'ma keep looking. But they were um sh uh what's her name? Mikilah Mikhaila was saying to have like a a parade on the birthday of around that time to celebrate the birthday of the city of Stockbridge. I thought that would be that was a a pretty decent idea too. So I just wanted to kind of [2:26:25, 2:26:38]: to put that out there to see how you guys felt about those, you know, couple of ideas. Juneteenth and the so this is August the 6th, 1920, that Stockbridge was incorporated as a town. [2:26:38, 2:26:47]: Okay, so that's in August. Yeah, August the sixth. And it says it was founded May 15, 1821, because we just had a birthday. [2:26:47, 2:26:50]: Yeah, but August sixth sounds right. I remember that. Okay. [2:26:50, 2:26:51]: Yeah. [2:26:52, 2:26:56]: I remember that date when they were trying to plan, but we ha end up hitting the [2:26:56, 2:26:57]: And gimme. [2:26:57, 2:27:02]: It got because it was the we when we did the whole stock bridges turning a hundred. [2:27:02, 2:27:03]: Mm-hmm. [2:27:03, 2:27:05]: Who wanted us to um [2:27:06, 2:27:11]: That was to be done on August the sixth. So she's right about that date. Oh, okay. [2:27:11, 2:27:17]: Okay, so um and then another thing that they've been talking about, I'm not sure. [2:27:18, 2:27:23]: that this is the year to incorporate it unless you guys think that we have the manpower. [2:27:23, 2:27:28]: and budget, but the battle of the bands. This is something that I've heard probably every [2:27:29, 2:27:30]: Um [2:27:30, 2:27:37]: year with the youth council is battle debt's battle bay even advisory. Uh I mean not advisory. Um [2:27:37, 2:27:39]: Some of the [2:27:39, 2:27:45]: What's it called? Uh council members have been like, Hey, let's have a battle with the bands in the city. [2:27:45, 2:27:47]: So that's something else. [2:27:47, 2:27:56]: That um they have talked about as well. Would that be more like a parade? I know you had mentioned a parade. Would we be talking more like a parade? [2:27:56, 2:28:00]: Mm, that would be something at the amphitheater. Just at the amphitheater. Okay. Yeah. [2:28:01, 2:28:07]: That could be more, that would be something similar to what we're doing with Fam Fest. That would take that up, probably more planning in that. [2:28:07, 2:28:16]: Yes. Yeah. Oh defin now see that would be ours. That would be that will be all ours. And so that's my fear about trying to do that next year. [2:28:16, 2:28:29]: Let's let's talk about I think it will take a year to cons really, really talk about the planning of that and to implement it. I'm not confident to do it in a year span, even there's really nowhere to put it this year, you know. [2:28:30, 2:28:43]: I I don't see anywhere to kind of put it, especially with trying to figure out what Fam Fest is gonna look like this year, to know what it's gonna look like next year. So let's go ahead and maybe look at 2024 for that. [2:28:44, 2:28:51]: But hopefully we can get a committee to at least start seeing what it looks like, what it's gonna require, what it's gonna cost and things and stuff like that. [2:28:52, 2:28:52]: Oh. [2:28:52, 2:28:57]: Erica, so did we uh do a spot anything for STEM? [2:28:58, 2:29:02]: Stem, let's see. Um I do do [2:29:03, 2:29:05]: First boy. I think first [2:29:07, 2:29:15]: First or third quarter. I'm liking first quarter though for that. I'll be honest. Um [2:29:15, 2:29:19]: For STEM. GMA retreat and March Madness. [2:29:19, 2:29:31]: EMA is something that just five students go to. So it's not something that the whole thing goes. Retreat is something that we put on. So um, oh, how about we include it in the retreat? [2:29:34, 2:29:39]: If we include it in the retreat for STEM, how are we gonna incorporate [2:29:40, 2:29:42]: Other participants. [2:29:42, 2:29:44]: Oh maybe we can do [2:29:45, 2:29:47]: [8987.7, 8991.2]: Or maybe our March Madness can be like a stem. [2:29:54, 2:29:56]: Of some sort. I don't know. You tell me. [2:29:57, 2:30:07]: I I like it. I somewhat like that initiative because our initiative for the March Madness this year was for college entry. Maybe next year can be focused on STEM. [2:30:07, 2:30:08]: Mm-hmm. [2:30:08, 2:30:10]: It will that go with that? [2:30:12, 2:30:13]: Can we find a way to make that? [2:30:15, 2:30:17]: Combi like combined that. [2:30:21, 2:30:37]: Well, it's just gonna depend how we wanna look at it, cause when I think of stem and what I do is more in a interactive. I was thinking I need like full attention because the people that I bring in is all interactive. [2:30:38, 2:30:46]: So what if maybe what if we try to do something like where our the last day of our retreat was more like open to the public, STEM? [2:30:46, 2:30:52]: Maybe you know, like something like because rem uh remember Sharica, we were trying to have that symposium. [2:30:52, 2:30:53]: Um [2:30:53, 2:30:55]: A few years back. [2:30:56, 2:31:01]: And we ordered like all the cups and stuff and we were gonna like invite people out from the community in the different churches. [2:31:02, 2:31:04]: And it was gonna be leadership symposium. [2:31:05, 2:31:05]: Yeah. [2:31:06, 2:31:08]: So maybe we can you you think something like that? [2:31:09, 2:31:12]: for STEM and maybe attach it to the retreat but open it to the public. [2:31:13, 2:31:16]: Maybe we're introducing, I don't know. Let y'all help me with the [2:31:17, 2:31:19]: trying to implement this into our calendar. [2:31:20, 2:31:25]: I mean if we could, but I see it it needs to be like in a form of uh [2:31:26, 2:31:27]: I mean, we need space. [2:31:29, 2:31:31]: That's why I was thinking that's what already happened. [2:31:33, 2:31:34]: If we uh we had a [2:31:35, 2:31:37]: If we keep the retreat in the marrow. [2:31:38, 2:31:47]: then we can utilize that time and that location and that space and not have to keep asking for it. So if we can find a way to turn that into, you know, [2:31:47, 2:31:52]: like come marry those the the retreat and the stem together, I think that would be [2:31:53, 2:31:57]: You know, the best bet for twenty twenty three calendar. [2:31:59, 2:32:07]: And it's at the beginning. And so it's like where we're really teaching. The first quarter we're focusing on like educating, teaching, getting them prepared. [2:32:07, 2:32:18]: Um, and it won't fall into in the midst of all these activities and things of that nature. And then just kind of say, Okay, now we want to sit you down. You know, it kind of I think it falls in better with the first quarter. [2:32:21, 2:32:31]: And Eric, I think it'll be a a good idea fake forward facing because when we have when we get the STEM Academy, this is something that we could make sure that everybody's aware of. [2:32:32, 2:32:36]: that the STEM Academy is coming to Henry County, which is in Stockbridge. [2:32:38, 2:32:38]: Okay. [2:32:38, 2:32:43]: And that's tw two twenty, twenty five, twenty six, but it's it's something to, you know. [2:32:44, 2:32:48]: start the wheels turning for the people in our community that STEM is coming. [2:32:48, 2:32:49]: Mm. [2:32:49, 2:33:08]: So I I like that idea. I like it in the first quarter. Um, Miss Carter, can you formulate a committee to kind of start thinking about how we can make this work because we're in the third quarter already, well, rolling into the third quarter in a couple of weeks. [2:33:08, 2:33:16]: And so we are going to be um asking for that proposal for the calendar and the finance report in the fourth quarter. [2:33:16, 2:33:24]: So I want to make sure that in the in the next uh by this uh this third quarter, we kind of plan it out so that we can make sure we [2:33:24, 2:33:29]: have the appropriate ask in the um and have it on the calendar for the fourth quarter. [2:33:32, 2:33:40]: Yeah, I can'cause like I said, mostly anybody that I generally work with, there's n generally no fees. All of my people are volunteers. [2:33:40, 2:33:41]: Okay. [2:33:42, 2:33:48]: Well it it it's just a matter of uh getting it on the calendar, getting it approved for the calendar. [2:33:48, 2:33:55]: Uh does anybody have in do any objections to having it in the first dur uh as a part of the retreat? [2:33:56, 2:34:04]: Do you see any or do you see a better area for that? I think that's a great opportunity. We have all the outdoors at Clark Park. Yeah. [2:34:07, 2:34:07]: Yeah. [2:34:08, 2:34:13]: Okay. So we'll kind of keep that there tentative unless something else comes up. So as of right now. [2:34:14, 2:34:30]: the calendar that I have in front of you and I will go ahead and get this drafted and sent it out to you um via email and crew. We have our first quarter GMA retreat with STEM program and March Madness, April beautification and leadership retreat. [2:34:30, 2:34:32]: Senior banquet in May. [2:34:32, 2:34:34]: Uh nothing in June. [2:34:34, 2:34:37]: What yeah well June. Yeah, nothing in June. [2:34:38, 2:34:41]: July we have our back to school event. [2:34:41, 2:34:44]: Um and then September Fan Fest. [2:34:44, 2:34:48]: October we have fall festival with um [2:34:49, 2:34:51]: Councilwoman Gantt beautification. [2:34:52, 2:34:56]: In November, I just kinda threw that in there'cause we didn't have anything in there and um [2:34:57, 2:35:08]: Do do do do do it was this month in the third quarter, but our beautification in November could probably maybe we can like decorate Christmas E on our on our block or something like that, give them like something to see. [2:35:08, 2:35:28]: um in that month that but that's just something that we'll let the uh youth council talk about what that looks like and then the Christmas um event in December. Um the only thing that we don't have on here is community service opportunities which we we create our calendar with not so much we don't fill it so that when those opportunities [2:35:28, 2:35:33]: Opportunities come in. We don't have a full calendar and then the opportunity comes in and we can't take it. [2:35:34, 2:35:53]: Another thing we try to push is to make sure that we support uh initiative of one council member at least once every calendar year. So we know we're doing the fall festival with yant, um, but we want to make sure that we reach out to all the other council members. Um uh Elton does the um [2:35:54, 2:36:14]: the keep stockbridge clean. So we usually go and help him and do a community service with that. I know Miss Yolanda, she does Zumba, so maybe we can go and participate. She's been asking about a double dutch some type of oh and she also wants the youth to take pictures like at certain spots within Atlanta, which I mean not Atlanta within the city of Stockbridge. [2:36:14, 2:36:28]: certain landmarks and street names but she hasn't forwarded the in um the details to us yet and i asked her if she would afford it to miss randy first um but that's something that she wants us to do like having you just take a picture like showcasing [2:36:28, 2:36:30]: landmarks within the city. [2:36:30, 2:36:35]: And we can do that when they come back from break. She just needs to bring back, you know, bring the information. [2:36:35, 2:36:37]: So um [2:36:38, 2:36:46]: And if we do that, that's really something that we said we supported her in. So we just want to make sure that we're supporting each one of the council members and um. [2:36:47, 2:36:51]: you know, their initiative landmark photos. [2:36:51, 2:37:01]: Landmark photos, but see that's that's still this calendar year, so we need to figure out what we'll do for her for the next calendar year. Um councilman Thomas, I'm not really sure. [2:37:02, 2:37:12]: what his initiatives are. Oh, the Black History Month. He's usually big with the Black History Month. So he does um in February, he when um [2:37:13, 2:37:16]: He does uh what is it called? Um [2:37:16, 2:37:17]: Like a forum. [2:37:17, 2:37:25]: And he usually asks the youth council to come and um like be host and stuff. So that's usually what we do in that month for him. [2:37:25, 2:37:27]: And who am I missing? [2:37:28, 2:37:37]: Not sure what Blount does. He does bingo with the seniors. So maybe we can kind of maybe partner with him and go play bingo with the seniors one time. [2:37:37, 2:37:49]: Do do do do do. I think I got everybody. I think that was everybody. Yeah. And so what um what we did what I'll do is like once we uh we have our calendar, I'll uh send off a um uh [2:37:49, 2:38:02]: And I know they probably don't have it for next year yet. So I do it later in the year, ask them to kind of let us know where they want us to, you know, assist them that uh for the next calendar year so we can go ahead and implement that. [2:38:02, 2:38:08]: So that's what our calendar will look like. Does anybody have any um questions on 2023 calendar? [2:38:12, 2:38:21]: If there are no questions, um, we won't vote. We'll vote once we have it completely formulated and sent out to you guys to look over it. [2:38:21, 2:38:41]: But that is all we have. We didn't go over too too bad, but we it's 914. So um I think I want to go ahead and end our meeting there. It was a very, very successful meeting. I thank you guys for all the input that you guys provided on this evening. And if anybody has any other comments, this would be the time to [2:38:41, 2:38:44]: to do so before we adjourn the meeting. [2:38:45, 2:38:46]: Uh Erica, this is Renee. [2:38:47, 2:38:50]: Can you um send me the five W's? [2:38:51, 2:39:06]: Um about the um book bag drive. So I can send it to I think a a memorandum or let ahead would be appropriate. Then I can just shoot it over to which your signature block, of course, and I can shoot it over to the president of the military sorority. [2:39:07, 2:39:12]: Gotcha. So Yep, I'm gonna work on that. Go ahead and tag them over to you. [2:39:16, 2:39:16]: Did you get that? [2:39:17, 2:39:24]: Again, I'm sorry. Yeah, I said I'm gonna send work on that flyer tonight and then uh uh probably have the uh memorandum over to you by the morning. [2:39:27, 2:39:31]: Perfect. Thank you. But then Randy is able to, you know, put it on letter head and stuff like that. [2:39:32, 2:39:32]: Yes. [2:39:33, 2:39:34]: Gotcha. [2:39:34, 2:39:38]: All right, that's all I got for you guys. Anybody else have anything? [2:39:40, 2:39:46]: Hearing n see none. Okay, it is nine fifteen. Would anyone like to make a motion to adjourn the meeting? [2:39:50, 2:39:54]: Uh I should make a motion to adjourn um this evening's meeting. [2:39:55, 2:39:56]: How dare a second? [2:39:57, 2:40:00]: It's been moved and properly seconded. All in favor, motion with aye. [2:40:00, 2:40:04]: Aye. [2:40:05, 2:40:07]: I cordial. [2:40:08, 2:40:09]: Uh Zellow. [2:40:12, 2:40:13]: Any spoke? [2:40:17, 2:40:18]: Any usa. [2:40:20, 2:40:36]: Most and kids. So moved. All right, guys. Have a amazing, amazing evening. Thanks for bearing with us on this lengthy um meeting on tonight. We got a lot accomplished, a lot done, and I'm ready to move forward with the rest of our calendar year. You guys all have a good night and be safe. [2:40:38, 2:40:39]: Thank you, you too. [2:40:39, 2:40:40]: Thank you, you two. [2:40:50, 2:40:50]:
