However, the revision that you all agreed to was that the chair and the vice chair shall serve for one term of one year period. So that every January. [0:14:30, 0:14:33]: those two offices can be re-elected. [0:14:33, 0:14:37]: Um, excuse me, Ms. Johnson, that phrase has already been taken out. [0:14:37, 0:14:38]: In the revision. [0:14:39, 0:14:52]: We just wanted to clarify that, make sure that was clear. And I wanted to bring it up for the sake of Mr. Dumas, who alerted me to it. [0:15:38, 0:15:58]: I don't have any any project updates from our meeting, from our last meeting. Just to tell you that we are continuing to get interest in the city and in particular in areas where we have interstate interchanges at Jodico and I-75, also at Hudson Bridge. [0:15:58, 0:16:18]: So there's a lot of a lot of moving parts. One thing I did want to uh let you all know is that the uh Mayor Ford and the council members have kind of started back with ribbon cuttings. And ribbon cuttings are held the um first and third Fridays. So we have [0:16:17, 0:16:21]: have one tomorrow at 10 a.m. Um [0:16:21, 0:16:26]: for one of our local businesses that actually came on board during the pandemic. [0:16:26, 0:16:39]: the the beginning of the pandemic because we're still in it. But um we wanted to just kind of keep you all aware of that. Also things are continuing to move forward with the Cultural Arts Center. [0:16:40, 0:17:00]: And um I think at the next meeting in January, we'll have a I have a more in-depth um detailed update for you all. But these projects that have been talked about uh by the council for you know over the last several months and you know years even prior to my coming on board um are are starting to come to fruition. So I just want to keep you alert. [0:17:00, 0:17:20]: of those things. And next year I'll be sending more information out to you all just quarterly, just so you kind of know what's going on in the department. You know what's going on kind of citywide as it pertains to zoning and projects and that sort of thing. So [0:17:20, 0:17:30]: So if you'll bear with me, I'll start pulling that information together for you in the new year so that you all can be abreast and reach out whenever you have any questions or comments. [0:17:31, 0:17:33]: But that but that is all I have. [0:17:34, 0:17:36]: Appreciate that. When did you say the ribbon cuttings were? [0:17:37, 0:17:46]: Uh the ribbon cuttings are typically the first and third Fridays at 10 a.m. Um I believe we have [0:17:48, 0:17:51]: One tomorrow. [0:17:53, 0:18:05]: And what I will do is I will force for one of our businesses here and I'll forward that to you all following this hearing, if you would like to attend. [0:18:08, 0:18:11]: Mr. Chairman, this is Dave Planchon with an unimportant question. [0:18:12, 0:18:13]: Go ahead, sir. [0:18:13, 0:18:24]: Does the planning commission have uh badges that we can wear if we go into public for ribbon cutting and that type of event for identification purposes? [0:18:25, 0:18:35]: Well what we can do, we can order those for you. Um we can get those ordered. I was hoping to to wait until um [0:18:35, 0:18:55]: The January meeting, once we elect the chairman and the vice chair. And I know those kind of switch out, but as those, as you guys kind of rotate, I want to get those to you all in the new year. We've kind of cut off our purchasing for the year, but we will most definitely get you all since we've got a final board and all the members. [0:18:55, 0:19:04]: members um we'll get some name name tags for you all, um, name badges. So we'll work on that and get that to you all in the in the new year. [0:19:06, 0:19:08]: Um may I speak, Mr. Chairman? [0:19:08, 0:19:09]: Sure. [0:19:09, 0:19:10]: Miss it too well. [0:19:12, 0:19:15]: Uh, they were also supposed to get us uh shirts. [0:19:16, 0:19:19]: For the uh planning commission also that never happened. [0:19:21, 0:19:27]: I don't know who they is, but I'm here now, so I'll be more than happy to get your sizes. [0:19:27, 0:19:28]: And um [0:19:29, 0:19:31]: We'll order the get those ordered at the same time. [0:19:32, 0:19:34]: Well that that would be that'll be fine. [0:19:34, 0:19:37]: I I I don't want to express names, but [0:19:37, 0:19:56]: I I'm just saying that what's supposed to happen. That's all. Okay. Well, on my watch, we will make sure that it does happen. So if you all don't mind, I'll be uh getting an email out to you guys. Uh Lendel send something out about getting your shirt sizes um and we'll have you try them on. [0:19:57, 0:20:10]: before we put your name on them, because we'll do a probably embroidery your name on those once we know it's a good fit for you. And um so you can have that when you're going to ruminate cuttings or going to new events, other events throughout the city. [0:20:10, 0:20:11]: and outside the city. [0:20:13, 0:20:13]: Okay. [0:20:14, 0:20:15]: Okay, uh [0:20:15, 0:20:17]: Any comments from the board? [0:20:20, 0:20:22]: Mr. Clancher, Ms. Belson. [0:20:23, 0:20:25]: Yeah, I was just gonna say I was [0:20:26, 0:20:29]: Everyone a a good new year and happy holidays. [0:20:29, 0:20:34]: We won't see each other again until next year. So you skipping Christmas? Absolutely. [0:20:34, 0:20:38]: You skipping Christmas? Yes, I'm skipping Christmas. [0:20:39, 0:20:53]: We all want to and uh like fifty percent we just wanna just not it we want not to happen, but of fifty percent we're I'm excited, I gotta say. So I wish y'all uh I wish all a happy n happy holiday, Christmas, New Year's. [0:20:54, 0:21:00]: And that we'll have a prosperous year forthcoming. Absolutely. Absolutely. Thank you. [0:21:01, 0:21:14]: Um the final uh planning uh the final city council meeting is scheduled for next um next week, the twenty first. I believe that is on [0:21:15, 0:21:33]: Tuesday night. And that starts at 6 p.m. And it will be in the council chambers unless something changes between now and then and is scheduled to be in the council chambers at six. And that meeting will be the final reading and hopefully adoption of the 2022 budget. [0:21:34, 0:21:35]: Among other items. [0:21:36, 0:21:39]: So um back. [0:21:41, 0:21:43]: It is all I have, Chairman. [0:21:44, 0:21:45]: Okay, thank you. [0:21:46, 0:21:48]: Uh any other comments? [0:21:50, 0:21:52]: Noah. Happy holidays, everybody.
